Odin poured himself a glass of water and drank it slowly.

He did not say anything again, not even inviting Rachel to sit down.

The temperature in the room was warm, but Rachel still felt uncomfortable after standing for a long time.

In the end, she did not wait for Odin’s invitation and sat on the sofa opposite him.

Odin put down the glass and raised a brow at her, taken aback by her straightforward attitude.

“You’re the first one to sit opposite me without my permission,” he stated.

“Well, someone has to do it.”

Her response caused Odin’s eyes to darken.

His interest was piqued, but something unpleasant stirred within him.

“I don’t know how you found out that I’m interested in meeting King of Hearts, but let me tell you something.

I despise it the most when I’m being tricked, and I hate the fact that you used the name of King of Hearts as an excuse to meet me.

Anyone who tricked me would not have the chance to speak again.

Even women don’t get mercy from me.”

He did not use any threatening words, but he might as well have.

Rachel did not look intimidated in the slightest, though.

“What a coincidence.

I also dislike being deceived.”

With a cold look in his eyes, Odin said, “That’s good.

Anyway, you said you’re King of Hearts, right? Can you prove it?”

“Why don’t you take a look at this, Mr.

Sullivan?” Rachel took out the U disk from her pocket and placed it on the desk.

Odin looked at the disk suspiciously before picking it up.

He looked at Rachel again and then called his assistant in.

“Come with your Laptop.”

Soon after, they heard a knock, and the assistant came in with his laptop.

When he entered, his eyes were automatically drawn to Odin, but he stole a glance at Rachel, who was sitting on the sofa.

While he was respectful and scared in front of Odin, Rachel seemed free and relaxed.

“Mr.

Sullivan, the laptop you asked for.” He then tore his gaze away from Rachel.

Odin gave him the U disk and said, “Check this.”

Though confused, the assistant took the U disk, opened the Laptop and inserted the U disk.

He was curious, but he knew that it wasn’t his place to ask questions.

The anti-virus software quickly scanned the disk and when it detected no virus, a folder popped up.

When the assistant clicked on it, a dozen design drawings and two data documents filled the screen.

The assistant looked at his boss cautiously.

He didn’t know what to do or say now.

Odin’s eyes darkened the moment he realized what they were.
