Odin’s bodyguard walked over took the U disk from Wallace.

At that moment, Odin noticed Wallace’s gaze on Rachel, and his face darkened.

Thinking about what she had said earlier, he couldn’t help but suspect Wallace.

When people got suspicious, they would nitpick and doubt everything.

Recalling Rachel’s words and Wallace’s admission that he was King of

Hearts, Odin got even more suspicious of him.

“Do you know her?” Odin asked tentatively to catch him.

Wallace returned to his senses because of Odin’s question.

He withdrew his gaze and forced an awkward smile.

How could I know her? I’m just—”

“You don’t know me?” Rachel suddenly turned around and cut him off.

Wallace stiffened, his eyes widening in disbelief.

His face paled, and his speech slurred as if he had seen a ghost.

He was so surprised that he could only stare wide-eyed at Rachel and stutter in fright.

Judging from Wallace’s reaction, it was surely a lie that he didn’t know her.

Odin wasn’t stupid.

He could tell Wallace and Rachel had met before.

“Mr.

Finch, it’s just an hour since we parted ways, but you already forgot about me?” Rachel asked with a taunting smile.

Wallace tried to say something but no words came out.

He didn’t know if it was because of fear, shock, or a combination of both.
