Captivation: Want Nothing But You -
Chapter 1518
Rachel approached him, squatted down, and glared down at him.
Wallace was in too much pain to speak.
It took him so much effort to say, “You!”
“Who do you think I am?” asked Rachel.
Wallace couldn’t utter a word anymore.
He could only stare back at her as he felt like there was someone strangling him, disabling him from breathing.
As he looked into her eyes, an answer formed in his mind.
The answer instilled fear in his heart.
“Wallace, if you didn’t want anyone to figure out your lie, you shouldn’t have done it.” Rachel’s face turned grim.
“Have you never thought that you’ll pay for what you’ve done?”
“It’s impossible.
You can’t be her,” Wallace murmured, his entire body trembling.
“Sooner or later, you’ll pay for the murder you committed,” Rachel said.
Wallace’s face turned even paler, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
Rachel looked back at the men.
“Got any water around here? I want two bottles.”
One of the men handed two unopened bottles of water to her.
“I want to talk to him alone.
Wait for me outside,” she commanded.
The men were put in charge of keeping a lookout.
After Odin agreed to cooperate with Rachel, the men were told that they should follow her orders when it came to Wallace.
Thereafter, they left Rachel alone with Wallace.
Wallace finally came to his senses and shouted, “No! Don’t go! You can’t leave me with her!”
Sadly for him, the only response he received was the sound of the iron door slamming shut.
The air felt cold amidst the large abandoned warehouse.
The dim lighting was only enough to illuminate Rachel and Wallace.
Rachel took off her mask and hat, revealing her face.
Since Rachel was in a hurry, she didn’t ask Eva to help her put on a disguise.
She simply just wore a mask and a hat to cover her face.
Wallace’s vision was blurred because of the pain, and he was in fear, so he couldn’t see Rachel’s face that clearly.
Thereafter, Rachel took out two packets of powder from her pocket and poured them into two bottles of water in front of Wallace.
Once the powder was mixed with the water, it quickly dissolved.
Wallace struggled to sit up and glared at Rachel.
