Captivation: Want Nothing But You -
Chapter 518
However, about ten minutes later after they began working again, a woman’s scream was suddenly heard.
“Abby!” Sasha shouted in panic.
It turned out that Abby slipped, rolled down the hill slope, and hit her head against a big rock.
Crack!
A ceramic spoon fell on the floor with a crisp sound.
“Miss Bennet, are you okay?” Hearing the noise, Lukas quickly turned around and walked up to check on Rachel.
“I’m fine.
The spoon just slipped from my hand.”
“Oh, I see.” Lukas breathed a sigh of relief.
“I’ll ask someone to clean this up.
Pease don’t touch the broken pieces.
Otherwise, you may get
wounded.”
With a blank expression on her face, Rachel just nodded.
She then gazed at the broken pieces of the spoon on the floor as if it was saying something ominous.

Lukas left the ward and closed the door behind him.
Hearing the sound of the door closing, Rachel finally came back to her senses.
She breathed deeply, remembering how her heart suddenly ached just now.
She was sitting on the edge of the bed when she subconsciously reached out to the bedside table.
Then, when she touched the spoon, it suddenly fell.
Earlier this morning, she woke up feeling very uneasy.
Now, when she saw the broken spoon on the floor, that uneasiness resurfaced again.
It was as if she could feel that something bad was about to happen.
But she was confused.
She wondered what it could be.
Then, all of a sudden, she remembered someone.
‘Abby?’
Rachel pressed her pink lips and took out her phone to call Quintin.
However, before she could even open the screen, a call suddenly got through.
It was from an unknown number, but she knew it was Quintin’s.
Her heart beat faster as if she already knew what it was about.
When she answered the call, Quintin’s voice came.
“Boss, I have good news and bad news.
Which one do you want to hear first?”
Rachel’s hunch that something happened to Abby grew stronger.
Her eyes darkened, and she unconsciously clenched the edge of the bed.
As she swallowed hard, her eyes fell on the broken spoon at her feet again.
“The bad one,” Rachel said.
