She fell asleep as she was talking with Kyle.

When she woke up, she was in a daze.

She unfolded the curtain after sitting in the bed for a while. It was a nice day.

She decided to take a picture and post it on moments.

She had seldom posted anything on moments because she didn't have many friends.

Afterwards, she began to post because she wanted to show something to Marshall.

However, he had never seen them.

He never used the apps on his phone.

She went for Kyle after washing up.

Kyle was sleeping in the his club.

She asked a waiter to wake him up for fear that she would see him naked.

Kyle wondered why Katherine came here.

He put on pajamas and walked out with messy hair and bared feet. "Kathy, what brings you here?"

She sat on the sofa with legs crossed. "I'm here to choose a gown by myself."

"Ah, the gowns were in the shop. The shop manager sent those pictures to me and then I sent them to you. Wait a moment, let me wash up first and then I'll go with you." After that, he went upstairs.

He changed clothes soon and the gold necklace was still around his neck.

"You really like the necklace." She mocked.

"OK, let's go," Ignoring her sarcasm, he said.

He took her to an exclusive customization shop, which was more luxury but less classic than the one Marshall had took her to.

The shop manager, who knew Kyle, greeted them immediately they came in.

"Come on. Show me the gowns you sent me yesterday." Kyle acted like a flashy high roller.

The manager told the waiters to take those dresses out.

All of the gowns were on the plastic models.

"Mrs. Henderson, this way, please." The voice of a waiter came from the hall before they were showed all of the gowns.

Katherine turned around as she was sensitive to "Henderson".

Two customers were ushered by the waiters towards them.

They must be dignified customers since here was the VIP area.

Katherine realized who they were immediately.

Sure enough, the customers led by waiters were Clara and Mrs. Henderson.

They hesitated for a moment when they saw Katherine and Kyle.

Both of them looked embarrassed.

Both Katherine and Clara were the heroines in the gossips.

But they had different statuses.

Katherine was known as Marshall's wife while Clara the third woman.

It would embarrass Clara to run into Kathrine no matter the rumor was true or not.

Katherine glanced at Clara casually and turned her gaze.

She pointed a black gown and said, "I'll take this one."

The manager hesitated for a second, now glancing at Katherine now looking at Clara.

"Mr. Harrisol remember I told you yesterday that I think this one is suitable for my daughter." Mr. Henderson blurted out.

"I thought all of them were suitable for me when I saw them yesterday." Katherine retorted.

And then she smiled. "Do you mean that you ordered it just by saying it's suitable?"

"Mr. Harris I told you yesterday I thought all of the gowns were beautiful, didn't I?"

Kyle did say that yesterday. Considering Katherine had not decided to choose which one, he replied to Mr. Harris that all of them were OK and he would go for a closer look at them today.

Mr. Harris was in a dilemma, but he still nodded. "Yes, you did say that." Mrs. Henderson changed her face when she heard it.

Katherine smiled to Clara. "Do you like this gown, either?"

They had similar tastes in many things somehow.

She continued, "Just tell me if you like it. I can give it up for you. It's not a big deal."

Then she said to the manage, "Mr. Harris I'll give it up for Miss Henderson."

Clara's face turned pale.

Katherine was talking about the dress, but in fact, she was alluding to Marshall.

Mrs. Henderson got what she meant immediately.

She frowned. "You can't call it 'giving up' when the things don't belong to you. One should be fully aware that he should look up for those things he doesn't deserve, or he will end up with losing everything." Suddenly, Kyle walked up with a surly expression and put his hands on the shoulder of the plastic model. It was the shoulder strap of the dress.

He then tore it off.

"Mr. Harris watched it with widening eyes without expressing any opinions. Katherine tittered.

Kyle really deserved his reputation as hooligan Kyle.

Mrs. Henderson pointed at him furiously, choked with anger.

"Which one else do you like?" Kyle snorted and turned to look at Katherine.

There was a red gown, which looked beautiful. She raised her chin to it. "This one." Then she looked at Clara. "Do you like this one? I can give it up, too."

Clara was speechless. She wouldn't worry about anything if there was only Katherine.

But Kyle was here.

Everyone, including she, dare not upset him because he was very brazen.

She didn't want to lose face.

Katherine then said to Mr. Harris "It looked that Miss Henderson doesn't like this gown, then wrap it for me."

Mr. Harris hurried to ask a waiter to wrap the gown for Katherine and Kyle went to pay for it.

"I've never let a woman pay for anything when they go out with me." Kyle felt humiliated.

Because of Marshall, she had much money now.

Marshall was really rich.

She thought she has suffered a lot since she married him, but in fact, she got many advantages from it.

One of the advantages was she could afford such an expensive gown.

Kyle was upset. He thought it hurt his dignity to let Katherine pay for her gown because it was he who asked her to attend the party with him. Therefore, he stopped her. "You can treat me later, and we'll be even. I'm a man and there're other people, so let me pay for you."

The "other people" he referred to were Mrs. Henderson and Miss Henderson.

She then put her phone away.

Clara walked over after choosing her gown. She looked grim, ignoring Katherine.<
