Nash frowned, his tone turning cold again. "Can we please not bring others into our issues?"

Nina couldn't help but chuckle. "You didn't mention it was someone else when you were involved with Miranda, did you? Nash, your actions are beyond my comprehension. I've already made things easy for both of you, what more do you want?"

"Are you talking about these two plane tickets?" Nash pulled out the plane tickets Nina had left behind. She had talked about going to Frangelia with him, yet she had booked tickets for him and Miranda. "You didn't go," Nina replied nonchalantly.

In front of her, Nash tore up the two tickets and laid them on the table, his cold gaze fixed on her. "You think you're making things easy for me, but you're only making things easy for yourself, aren't you?"

He looked around the small apartment she had described as "small but complete," his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Nina, what exactly do you gain from this? You're living in this tiny apartment and stuck with a father who can't even bring himself to see your child."

"After you left me, that man probably hasn't come looking for you, right?" Nash's grip tightened, the veins in his arms bulging as he struggled to control his anger.

Nina turned away, remaining silent.

"I don't need you to say it. I already know he hasn't come looking for you!" Nash gritted his teeth.

"What does it matter to you?" Nina wanted to avoid this topic.

"You're my wife, so it matters!" Nash's tone grew heavier. "I've always seen you as a smart person, so how could you fall for someone like him? You won't even terminate the pregnancy and now you expect me to take care of your child?"

Nina retorted, "Doesn't the fact that I'm living alone now prove my decision?"

"Without my consent, you can't!" Nash outright rejected her one-sided thoughts and actions.

"In that case, we have nothing more to discuss." Nina's expression turned cold. "You already know what I want. I can give up everything, and there's nothing to lose for you and your family." "Abort the child!" Nash reiterated sternly.

Nina looked into Nash's sharp eyes, feeling as if he would find a way to terminate the pregnancy if she didn't agree, without giving her a chance to object.

He had always been like this, never considering her feelings. She felt like a spinning top, with Nash deciding where she should go without considering whether it hurt or exhausted her.

Despite everything, she didn't regret it. She had chosen Nash, had fallen in love with him. The suffering of these past years was the bitter fruit she deserved. Her price had already been too high, so why couldn't he let her have some peace?

Nina fought back tears, stubbornly asking, "What if I refuse?"

Nash's deep gaze turned chilling. "Don't force me to lay hands on you!"

At that moment, Nina couldn't hold back any longer. Her eyes immediately reddened.

In front of Nash, she was indeed weak. If he gave an order, she had to comply, without even the right to say no.

"Nina," Nash softened his tone slightly, seeing her eyes reddening and her effort to hold back tears, looking so distressed. His furrowed brows relaxed a bit as he called her name.

Nina lifted her head, the only way to hold back the tears and forget some of the pain. "Nash, the child may not matter to you, but he's a part of me. I'm more eager than anyone else for his arrival. I couldn't bear to watch him being taken away from my body."
