Scott's mother almost fainted upon hearing this.

"Mrs. Scott," Yasmine quickly supported her.

"The Yaren tribe?" Nina asked, "What kind of place is that?"

Yasmine looked at Nina with frustration. "It's a place where people kill without batting an eye! Why would he suddenly go there, asking all these strange questions? Did you put him up to this?"

Nina was utterly confused. "What strange questions did he ask you?"

Yasmine's eyes turned red with anxiety. "He asked me about the Yaren tribe and whether they could make medicine or poison. I told him everything. If I'd known, I wouldn't have said anything. He actually went there! I thought he was just curious. Why would he go, knowing how dangerous it is?"

Nina's heart sank. Making medicine and poison...

Could there be a connection?

Overcome with tension and worry, Nina felt dizzy. Fortunately, Angel supported her.

They must be hiding something from her!

Scott's mother broke down in tears. "I only have one son. If anything happens to him, how will I live?"

"It'll be fine, I'll ask my father to find Scott. He will be fine," Yasmine comforted her.

Nina calmed down. Something was very wrong with recent events. Not just with Scott, but Wilfred and Nash were also acting strangely.

"I need to go back," Nina said, sensing something was terribly wrong.

"Nina, I'll take you," Angel said, noticing how pale she looked.

Nina just wanted to find Wilfred as soon as possible. He might have the answers she needed.

"You can't leave!" Yasmine blocked her. "Scott last saw you. Since he told you he was going abroad, you must know where he is now."

"I don't know," Nina replied. "I've told you everything I know. Now I need to confirm something!"

Scott's mother, sick with worry, turned her anger towards Nina. "It's all because of you. Scott refused to get engaged because of you, didn't he? Now you're leading him into danger. I should have never let him see you. He's never been this impulsive. It must be because of you!"

The words were harsh, but Nina took them to heart. Despite her unease, she did not ask Scott further questions. If Scott truly went to such a dangerous place because of her, she would feel guilty for the rest of her life.

"The priority now is to find Scott. Blaming me won't help. I will find a way to locate him!" Nina said firmly.

"Finding Scott is the most important thing," Yasmine agreed.

Nina left and went to Wilfred's work studio.

Wilfred opened the door and saw Nina in a hurry. He took off his gloves and handed her a tissue. "What's going on? Why are you in such a rush?"

Still catching her breath, Nina asked, "Are you hiding something from me?"

Wilfred's expression tensed. "What could I be hiding?"

"Scott went to the Yaren tribe!" Nina said. "You know what kind of place that is. He's missing, and I can't reach him. You, Scott, and Nash have all been acting strangely. What are you all hiding?"

"He went to the Yaren tribe?" Wilfred was taken aback. He had not expected Scott to actually go.

Nina grabbed Wilfred's sleeve, her eyes fixed on his. "I know you wouldn't lie to me. Tell me why he went to the Yaren tribe. What kind of place is it? Is it because of me?"
