CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery -
Chapter 657
Nash squinted. He remained silent, but his eyes turned fierce.
"Hahaha." Sawyer found it amusing that such a righteous man would take a path of no return for a woman. But his gloating was short-lived as Nash kicked him hard in the stomach. Sawyer clutched his aching stomach and decided to forsake fair play. He suddenly reached for a mini pistol at his waist. Nash instinctively dodged.
However, Sawyer's true aim wasn't to kill Nash but to inject Miranda with the poison. As he moved quickly toward her, Miranda panicked.
"Watch out!" Nash shouted, lunging from the other side to tackle Sawyer.
Sawyer could not retract the needle in time, and it plunged into Nash's shoulder.
Miranda's eyes widened in horror, her body struggling frantically, muffled cries escaping her lips, "Mmm..."
But it was too late. Sawyer paused for a moment, then laughed even harder. "Nash, you're a lovesick fool! Hahaha..."
The injection disrupted Nash's nervous system, causing his head to spin and his body to tremble with a high-pitched ringing in his ears.
Meanwhile, someone untied and freed Miranda.
"No!" With the rag removed from Miranda's mouth, tears streamed down her face like a waterfall.
She crawled over frantically, trying to lift him up but lacking the strength. She babbled incoherently, "Nash! You haven't been injected, right? Tell me you weren't!"
She couldn't believe that Nash had been injected. The syringe was now empty.
Nash's mind was foggy, his forehead veins bulging. His body was shaking violently as he tried to endure the pain, unable to respond.
Scarlett's attention was on Sawyer. Amid the chaos, he attempted to flee. She couldn't let him escape. She needed the antidote.
"You can't run. You need to give me the antidote!" Scarlett chased after him.
During the fight, Sawyer's arm was shot, blood pouring out. He glared coldly at Scarlett. "Scarlett, you're blocking my way. Do you want to die?"
Scarlett tried to strike a deal. "Father, I just need the antidote for KA48. Give it to me, and I'll let you go! You'll have a chance to rise again."
Sawyer sneered. "You've betrayed me!"
"Father, I've followed you for years and never asked for anything. Just give me the antidote this one time," Scarlett pleaded, her eyes desperate. "Give it to me, and I'll let you go. No one will know where you went!" Sawyer clutched his wound and said, "Fine, come closer."
Scarlett's face lit up with hope. "Really, Father? You'll really give it to me."
"I have it with me," Sawyer replied.
Scarlett approached cautiously. Sawyer had previously assured her he had the antidote, and she believed him.
As she got close, Sawyer's eyes turned cold. He suddenly attacked.
Scarlett anticipated this, dodging to the side as his punch grazed her face.
"You lied to me!" Scarlett realized.
Before she could react, Sawyer grabbed her arm and kicked her leg. The sound of bones breaking echoed. Scarlett screamed in pain, dropping to one knee before being flung aside. She rolled several times on the ground.
"Did you forget who taught you to fight? How dare you threaten me!" Sawyer stomped on Scarlett's chest. "You're just a dog I raised. If you don't obey, death is your only path!"
