was now struggling for his life. I quickly approached Jules and tried to cover his bleeding wound.

I could feel Damon's expression changing as he looked at Stone. Stone was holding the bow as he stared back at Damon. I can feel the tension between them. While I felt the fear eating away at my heart. I can't believe Stone could do this. I looked down at Jules who "What did you do, Stone?" I heard Anna's mournful voice. I didn't realize that she had already followed us. I can still see the chaos behind us. Damon's men are fighting the rogues.

Stone's gaze shifted to Anna. I can see the pain in Anna's eyes. Even she couldn't believe that Stone could do this.

"So...you're the traitor Jules was talking about..." I heard Damon. I bit my lower lip and heaved a deep breath. My hand is full of blood. I know that this time, no matter what I do, I can't save Jules. Stone lowered the bow and threw it at his feet.

"I didn't expect that it took you a long time to find out," Stone smirked at Damon.

"I trusted you..." I closed my eyes tightly when Damon said that. Even though he said those words coldly, I know Damon was hurt by what he found out. I know that he's suffering a lot inside of him.

"And you expect me to serve you with loyalty?" Stone's tone was full of sarcasm. I heard Anna's sobs. I stared at Jules. His body turned cold. He's gone. I stopped my trembling hands and moved a bit away from Jules' body.

"Yes...because I never doubted you," Damon said firmly. Even though my body was weak and shaking, I forced myself to come to Anna to hug her. So that somehow, I can do something to ease the sadness and pain in her heart. Stone chuckled and shook his head. Everything he heard from Damon seemed silly to him.

"Yeah...and I took it to my advantage, Alpha Damon," Stone said. Anna cried even more on my chest. I also can't help but cry silently along with Anna.

"I treated you as my brother Stone. Why did I do wrong to receive this from you?" I can feel Damon's agony from those words. I know how much he's hurt from what he found out.

"What did you do wrong? Are you serious you're asking me that? Are you still acting blind, Alpha? You know! You know everything but you keep silent and sit on your throne as if nothing happened!" I was surprised by the rise of Stone's voice. "P-Please...Stone...stop this!" Anna cried. She tried to walk towards Stone, but I held her tightly. I won't let her get near Stone. Stone right now is dangerous. I know they are mate, but I can't trust Stone right now.

"Alpha...you....also kept silent when you found out the truth. The truth about your coward brother!" Stone yelled out of anger. Anna sobbed more in my arms. Damon remained serious. I do not know what he is thinking. I know it's hard for him so I can't blame him that even when he found out the truth about his brother, he still kept quiet.

"You stayed silent because you benefitted from it, right!? You were saved in exchange for my mate's purity!" Anna tightened her hold on me. I closed my eyes tightly because I know how much pain Anna went through and this is the reason why Stone's heart is full of anger.

"You don't know how I endured to serve you even though my heart was full of anger. But I'm not like Jules who will back down in his decision because of his freaking past love. I will continue this because I can't stomach the blood of Scot tainting the throne," Stone said in full determination.

I swallowed hard and hugged Anna tightly because she was trying to escape again.

"N-No! Please Stone! It's not Alpha Damon's fault! Please listen to me! If I could go back to that time, I'll do it again! I'll try to save them again! So, please...stop this!" Anna pleaded. I saw the anger in Stone's eyes.

"Are you stupid, Anna? You are the aggrieved here! You were a victim! You were hurt because of Alpha Damon's family, and you'll still choose the same painful past? If you can stomach this happening to you then I don't! I can't stand that you are suffering so I will do everything to take revenge for you!" Stone angrily said.

Anna was stunned by what Stone said. I was stiffened to see Damon throw his weapon on the ground and look seriously at Stone.

"Kill me, then," I was deafened by Damon's words. My heart thundered with a loud tremor.

"Damon...no! What are you saying?!" I couldn't stop talking but Damon didn't even turn to me. Something pinched my heart.

"You don't know what you're wishing for, Alpha Damon," Stone said with a smirk on his lips. I do not know what to do. If only I were not holding Anna, I would have been close to Damon!

"I know it very well, Stone. I will allow you to kill me because I know how hurt you are," I was stunned by Damon's words. "You're right. I tried to escape the fact that my brother had done that. The brother I admired so much since I was young. I thought that would be the best for everyone because that's what Anna wished for. She wants everything to be forgotten for her to heal. She also wants you to be at peace. But I know...I did wrong," Damon added.

I saw Stone's angry eyes shoot at Anna.

"You wished for it, Anna? For what? Are you serious that I'm gonna be at peace with your decision? Do you expect me to accept it all?" Stone said in between pain and madness. Anna sobbed. "Stone...I want to forget everything. Because the more we think about it the more I get tormented by the pain and sadness..." Anna said crying.

"Fuck..." Stone cursed and almost punched the floor because of anger and mixed emotions. I can see his face reddened. I can see the pain and so much hatred on his face.

"That's why I won't fight, Stone. Anna's agony became a substitute for my safety. So now...maybe it's only right that I pay for all that," Damon said seriously.

Hearing that from Damon made my chest ache even more.

"D-Damon...please...don't do this!" I almost beg.

"Stone! This is all my fault! I asked him to keep everything behind! This is not Alpha Damon's fault!" Anna shouted too. Stone's bloodshot eyes pierced through Damon. I don't know what Stone is thinking right now but I hope he still cares for Damon. I hope Damon still has a place in her heart as her friend for the past many years. "This is my last royal decree for you, Stone. Kill...me," Damon said with...certainty.
