"Don't apologize to me anymore. You should apologize to yourself for hurting yourself." Rosalie stood up. "I'm leaving now." "Rose." Sebastian grabbed her hand. "Will you and Steve still move out?"

"Why are you asking me this? Did you shoot yourself as a desperate measure to stop me and Steve from moving out?"

"How can you say that? No one would use their own life as a desperate measure. I could die at any moment! I admit that I don't want you to leave, but I didn't have such intentions at all."

"Since there's no such intention, then don't ask me questions like this anymore. I'll move out with Steve temporarily. I think we both need some time to calm down."

"Do you still want a divorce?" Sebastian asked.

"If I say I do, will you shoot yourself again to threaten me?"

"Fine, I believe you," Rosalie said. "I believe you shot yourself to make up for Theodore."

"Because you lied to me. You've really let me down."

"But I've made up for it!"

"You made up for it to Theodore. Didn't you say you shot yourself for Theodore? What does my request for a divorce have to do with

making up for Theodore? Your

Right now, I'm very disappointed in you because you lied to me. I want a divorce. Are you going to use that gunshot to threaten me again?"

Rosalie's eyes and tone were harsh, giving Sebastian no chance to refute.

"No, I'm not!" Sebastian hurriedly explained.

"Since that's the case, I'll bring the divorce papers over, and I'll need you to sign them. I'll also be taking Steve with me," Rosalie said. Sebastian never imagined that his attempt to escape would end up making things worse. He had shot himself, but Rosalie still couldn't forgive him and still wanted a divorce.

He couldn't accept this. Yet, if he said something now, Rosalie would only push back harder.

He knew Rosalie she was quite stubborn. Sometimes, the more you told her not to do something, the more she would insist on doing it. The more you told her to do something, the less she would comply. So, Sebastian could only go along with her for now.

"I'm not forcing you, but I hope we can have a cooling period first. You can move out, and I'm fine with whatever you decide, but can we not divorce for now? If, after some time, you still want to divorce, I won't stop you. Sebastian began crying, his votee full of desperation. "Please, you're still angry. Don't make any impulsive decisions while you're angry, okay?"

Rosalie closed her eyes and sighed. "I'm leaving with Steve. I promise to wait out the cooling period, not because I think I was impulsive, but because when I submit the divorce papers after that, you'll give up. I'll make sure you understand that I wasn't impulsive. I hope by then, you won't come up with any strange reasons to stop me."

Sebastian didn't know how to respond.

"Also," Rosalie continued, "thank you for taking care of Steve during this time. You've done a good job. I can see that. Sebastian, I don't want to hate you. I hope you won't do something like this again."

"I won't," Sebastian said sadly. "I'll never dare again."

"I'm going back to see Steve now. Rest well."

After saying this, Rosalie left the ward.
