"He loves you too," Justin said. "It's just that both of them are loving you in the wrong manner."

"If it's in the wrong manner, I'd rather they don't love me. I don't need it. I hate it when people lie to me. Although I should be glad that Theo doesn't have cancer, he lied to me and I can't accept that. You either have it or you don't. Since he lied to me, how am I going to trust or forgive him? Rosalie was very bothered by Theodore's deception.

"I came specifically to see you," Justin confessed.

The cautious look in Justin's eyes made Rosalie burst out in laughter. "Thank you for not lying to me."

It was something minor, and it didn't matter even if Justin did lie to her. As long as he did not lie to her regarding matters of principle, such as having an affair or lying about having cancer, it was fine.

Justin felt more at ease after seeing her laugh.

Their food was soon delivered to them, and they enjoyed the meal amidst laughter and conversation.

Happy times always passed by quickly. It was getting late, and Rosalie sent Justin to the door.

"Where are you staying now, Justin?"

"I booked a room at a hotel. I'll head over there now."

"Take care on your way back."

Justin nodded. "Go to bed early."

After Justin left, Rosalie shut the door, returned to her room, and sat on the bed.

Geoffrey glared at her before standing up, smoothing out his jacket as he walked into Christopher's office.

Geoffrey never saw anyone walk out of Christopher's office, and he saw no one else when he entered the room.

"You're not in a meeting. You were just making me wait."

Christopher looked up leisurely from the document in his hands and smiled at him calmly.

"That's right, I was just making you wait. If you think an hour is too short, you can walk out and wait for a few more hours."
