No One’s POV

“We are here, sweetheart!”, Zayden informed Grace, when they reached the entrance of the deep forest. She fell asleep even though she tried not to fall asleep, she couldn’t resist the temptation due to the dim lighting of the car.

Hearing his voice, she came out of her trance and observed her surroundings. They were near the deep and dark forest. It looked beautiful and scary at the same time.

Beautiful?

Well, that’s because the entrance was fully decorated with colorful lights. She had never seen such a beautiful decoration in her life. Seeing the beauty with the mixture of nature, she couldn’t prevent herself from gasping in awe. Zayden noticed that.

“The arrangement looks beautiful, isn’t it?”, He said, supporting her view.

“Yes! It’s….really beautiful.”, She said, while looking at the lighting effects on it.

“Not as beautiful as you”, He said to which she rolled her eyes and kept looking at her surroundings. Suddenly, the side of the door opened and she saw him opening the door for her.

‘When did he come out?’

She came out and muttered thank you for his gesture. “This place is not that far, which was actually taken by car. One can easily come here in fifteen to twenty minute in their wolf form.”, He initiated the conversation. “Next time, I will bring you here in my wolf form.”

“B.But I can’t turn in.into a wolf.”, Grace quickly said, making Zayden laugh.

“You are so cute.”, He said, pitching her nose.

“Wh.what?”

“I know that you are human, sweetheart. And I will bring you on my back, all you have to do is hold my furr tightly to prevent yourself from falling down.”

Grace’s eyes widened in shock when she heard that. ‘That day will never come, you monster. I am not going to spend my whole life with you.’, She mentally thought but didn’t dare to speak those words in front of him.

She looked down and saw the petals of red roses were under her feet and a path was made with the help of it. She knew that she had to walk on it, after all, she had seen these things in the movies and series. She always dreamt of these things but never even in her life she thought that someone in this dream of her would come true at the cost of marrying a monster and a criminal.

Zayden took her to the table which was in the middle of the whole arrangement. He removed his blazer. Grace looked at him again and saw the grey shirt she was wearing. The shirt hugged his upper body firmly, and he looked more handsome. Keeping the blazer on the arms of the chair, he straightened his shirt and sat down. Grace kept wondering why only one chair was arranged? When Zayden had planned to bring her with him.

‘If he had to sit alone then he could have left me at home. I would have happily accepted that option.’, She thought.

“Come here, sweetheart”, He asked her, gesturing toward the space he created between his legs.

‘What? No way in hell’, She decided mentally.

“Come here.”, He asked again.

“N.No”, She replied nervously.

Grace didn’t take a step ahead, just stood at her position. Zayden thought she was trying to get away from him, and that angered him. When he had clearly told her that he couldn’t afford to lose her, he meant each and every word. Due to this, his mood immediately changed to an angry one.

“I will not repeat myself again, sweetheart. Come here.”, He ordered, gesturing at the space between his legs but still, Grace didn’t move. “Do you want to repeat what happened in the car?”, He asked angrily. His possessiveness was getting the best of him. Suddenly, Grace remembered what had happened before. She didn’t have the guts to face his anger again. All the earlier fear came rushing back. She sighed in defeat and slowly took hesitant steps towards him. While he felt content when he realized that she was coming toward him, which meant she was not going far away from him. She took his hand and reluctantly sat where he asked her. It was very embarrassing for her. The more she wanted to stay away from him the more he used to bring her close to him.

Zayden circled his hand around her waist and she instinctively became rigid. Her womanhood clenched with desire, and she cursed herself. She tilted her head slightly, to see what his intentions were, but Zayden beat her at that.

“Relax, sweetheart. I will not touch you anywhere else…until you ask me.”, he assured her, to which she relaxed a little. Being with him a few times, assured her about his nature. He was a man of his promise and words.

“Why don’t you do as I say?”, He asked casually when they became comfortable.

‘Should I talk with him? But what if he doesn’t like whatever I say and my words will make him angry then?’, She started thinking.

“Sweetheart, you don’t have to be afraid of my anger. I promise I will keep my temper in check. Say whatever you want to, I will not hurt you.”, He assured.

“I hate taking orders all the time. It makes me feel as if….I am a dog.”, She said in a low tone. Zayden could forever live doing nothing but listening to her voice if that was possible. He smiled at her response. After all, they were having a conversation like a normal couple.

“I am sorry for making you feel so. I will try to change myself so that our marriage can work.”, He said as calmly as he could. Immediately he sensed the presence of a third person over that place and the happy expression of his face changed into a sour one.

“There is no spoon here. I can’t eat the food with my hand because a few days before I had accidentally cut my finger, see…”, Grace said, showing her finger to where she had deep cut the knife. “Even the b***d is oozing out of it.”, She added.

And the next thing she heard was a loud sound.
