Third Person’s POV

Zayden then found a box that came with the letter and found one more letter in it.

‘I knew you would destroy that letter, that’s why I had placed another letter over here. Before you tear this letter as well, just remember that inside the box there is a gift for our sister. Give it to her at her wedding. And don’t you dare not to give her or else I swear I will torture your ‘sweetheart’ a little more when I will get my hand on her.

Lastly, bye brother. I love you soooooooooooooooooooo much! Look how many ‘o’ I wrote. Just for you! I hope you like my gift.

P.S.: My gift on your birthday had sent your wolf into a deep sleep. I hope you will enjoy this gift as well. Please open it gently. It’s delicate and a surprise for you.

Zayden again tore the letter and threw it on the ground. He opened the box carelessly and was stunned as he looked inside it.

Inside was a beautiful white wedding gown of the bride. It looked beautiful and lovely. It was the same size that Allison wore. Also, there was a torn page of some book. He picked it up without checking it and touched the beautiful work on the gown. But before he could have fallen for the beauty of the gown, he remembered the giver. He closed the box and threw it toward Eric.

“Throw it somewhere or burn it. I don’t want it anywhere near my pack.”, he ordered, to which Eric nodded.

He then opened the torn page of the book, and suddenly his body was numb. It was one of those memories which he had long forgotten. It was the worst day of his life. That was the day when he had lost his love.

In his hand, there was a rough diagram of Jennifer, whose hands were tied in the large and big wood and stood lifeless there. Below the diagram, the author had written ‘the punishment given to the culprit vampire for falling in love with a werewolf.’

All the patience and self-control that he had grown, shattered at this moment. It was like he was back in his older days. With a frustrated growl, he tore that page again. Everyone near him stepped aside, wondering why Zayden’s wolf was on the surface because it was so unlike him.

“Burn all these things. And don’t tell anyone about this. If anyone gets to know anything, remember, I will not hesitate to kill you.”, Dominic threatened Eric in a deeply dangerous voice, not caring about the fact he was Zayden’s beta as well as his friend.

Zayden turned around and walked back to his house. But, instead of getting to their room, he entered his office. He closed the door and slid down to the floor. He closed his eyes, but the only thing he saw was his previous life.

“Did you k**s that leech, Alisha?”, Dominic roared in anger, asking his mate, Alisha, whom he caught kissing a vampire.

“Relax, Dom. It’s not what you just saw.”, She tried to explain and placed her hand on his arm but he jerked his hand away, looking at her angrily. Alisha knew that Dominic was not easy to handle when he was angry. “See, I can explain it.”, She said and paused for a while. “Your father wanted some secret information from the Vampire Prince. That’s why he asked me to pretend to be in love with him so that I can gather information from him.”

Dominic kept tapping his leg in frustration but was letting Alisha say what she wanted to say so that he would have this conversation by saying the only sentence which was repeating in his mind again and again.

“Since that Vampire Prince was a bit suspicious about my loyalty toward him that’s why I had to k**s him to prove that I love him for real.”, She ended and approached Dominic, on which he pushed her away in anger.

“Do you really think that I will keep any relation with that woman who happened to born to love me and cherish me but kissed someone else for some stupid information?”, he asked rudely.

“Dom…

“Save it. I don’t want to hear anything else from you. I, Dominic Meyers, reject Alisha Rowling as my mate.”

“What? No, I don’t accept this rejection. Dominic, you know how much I love you. Please don’t do this to me.”, Alisha sobbed and tried to touch Dominic again but he pushed her away again, but this time with force. She fell to the ground before she could handle herself.

“My rejection is final, whether you accept it or not!”, he stated strictly.

“You can’t break our bond.”

“Well, I already have and I will always in my every life with my memories or without my memories.”, he added, before morphing into a werewolf and ran from there. He kept running furiously for god knows how long or for how many hours. He finally stopped himself when he realized that he was near a human village. All the incident was running in his mind which happened earlier until his ear perked at the sound of a few children.

“It’s magic….magic…”

“Yes! Definitely, I have never seen this incident before. Whichever fruits which we want to eat from the nearby trees are falling on their own.”, one of them said.

Dominic looked around and after searching those children for a while. He finally found them and looked around in the trees carefully to see the magic about which children were talking about. Within seconds, he saw the woman who was behind this magic.

He had never seen any vampire playing with human children. Most of the vampires he had seen wanted to drink the b***d of humans, unlike this woman who was the reason behind the smile of so many kids.

‘Doesn’t my father say that vampires are cruel in nature?’, he wondered.

For the first time, his mind was not working properly, all he was wishing was that woman to turn toward him just for once rather than jumping from one tree to another like a monkey. His breath hitched the moment he observed her beautiful and innocent face with a small smile on her face. The way her short black hair flipped because of the wind, forced him to think about touching it.

‘Son, where are you? Your mom is worried.’, he heard his father’s voice in his mind.

‘On the way, back of the pack house.’, he answered and closed the mind-link. He again looked at the place where he had seen that kind vampire but she was nowhere to be found. He cursed unbreathed for losing her track because of the mindlink but swore to find her at any cost.
