David is missing.

Chapter 81

"Mom, are you alright?" Jeff asked

"No, Jeff I'm not alright. David is missing" Rosa said and Jeff stood up at once from where he was sitting.

"What do you mean he's missing?" Jeff asked, obviously worried about his son.

"I... I came to his sc.... school to get...." Rosa kept stuttering, as tears filled her eyes. She felt so scared. She loves David so much and couldn't afford anything bad to happen to him.

"Mom calm down alright, I do not understand what you are saying, calm down," Jeff said trying to console his mom so she could speak properly.

Rosa sniffed and then spoke, this time a little bit calm.

"I came to the school to pick him up and then I found out he wasn't in school. I was told he left school but David would never leave school without me or you coming to pick him" Rosa said, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Is there any friend of David you know about? Maybe he must have told you about any of his friends. Maybe we will be able to find him with the help of his friends" Jeff said and Rosa went dead silent. She was trying to remember the time David told her of his friends.

She couldn't remember their names but she remembered he said something like the octuplets.

"Mom, are you there?" Jeff asked when he noticed his mom went silent.

"Yes, I think he's got friends," Rosa said

"Do you know their names?" Jeff asked

"I can't remember exactly but I think he mentioned the octuplets," Rosa said Jeff became silent but then he finally spoke.

"T.. the octuplets?" He asked again to be sure of what he had just heard.

"Yes, the octuplets," Rosa said

"Are you sure of that?" Jeff asked and Rosa muttered a yes.

"Okay, go back home alright. I'm going to go find him and bring him home" Jeff said.

"I can't go home till I find him, I'm going to call the police," Rosa said and Jeff frowned.

"I said go home, Mom. And do not dare call the police if you do not want to see the other side of me. Now go home," Jeff yelled and Rosa flinched at once.

She wondered what was wrong with Jeff, his son had gone missing and he was acting weird.

She decided to go home and give him a few hours, if he was unable to find David and bring him home, she was going to involve the police. She quickly ended the call and then turned to talk to the principal who had told her David was not in school.

She was talking to a man who Rosa guessed was also looking for his kids too.

She then hopped inside her car, ignited the engine, and zoomed off.

Jeff is seen pacing to and fro in his office.

How come David is missing, David would never leave school just like that.

His son was a friend of the octuplets and he didn't know about it, shit!! He muttered and dialed Dave's number. And immediately he answered.

"Are you on your way already?" Dave, who is seen smoking, said over the phone.

"Dave, are you sure it's the octuplets you took back there in the school?" Jeff asked

"Of course, why do you ask?" Dave asked

"My son David is missing and I just found out he was a close friend of the octuplets, I don't know maybe you mistook him for one of them," Jeff said and Dave paused before he finally spoke.

"There were only eight kids we took and it was the ones you showed me. I do not know what your son looks like, maybe you should send a picture of him so I could confirm if he's part of them " Dave said and Jeff nodded in response. He quickly sent a picture of David to Dave. Dave's phone vibrated as a message entered. It was a picture of Jeff's son.

"I'll confirm and get back to you," Dave said and ended the call.

Meanwhile, David and his friends are seen looking so tense and scared.

They could remember vividly, how some hefty men came out of a big vehicle in a rush and pulled them into their vehicle in force.

They could remember them yelling and struggling, telling them to let them go when suddenly their noses were covered with a handkerchief and they had lost consciousness.

They had regained consciousness and found themselves in a strange room, with a bed and wardrobe in it. Wherever they were, they were sure it was a quiet area. "Somebody help us!!" Addison yelled

"Anyone there? Please get us out of here" Aubrey yelled as tears gathered in her eyes.

"Mommy is going to be worried about us, and Jayden, I hope he's safe," Jaxon said as he sat on the bed.

Jasper stared at Aubrey who was now wailing, she looked so scared. He moved towards her and hugged her.

"Shhhh, we gonna be fine. We gonna get out of here. Daddy is gonna come to get us" Jasper said

"We need to find a way to contact Daddy but there's no phone or anything," Jamie said while staring around the entire room, thinking maybe he would find a phone or something.

But then he suddenly remembered David usually brings his phone to school and when the principal had seized it before they helped him get it.

He turned to David who was looking so scared, nervous, and tense.

"David," Jamie called and he turned to him.

"How about your phone, did you bring it with you?" Jamie asked

David then remembered the day they had taken it from the principal's office, he had hidden it in his school bag and didn't bring it out ever since. He was scared the phone would be seized again.

"I don't know, maybe it's still in my bag," David said, shivering in fear.

Jamie stared around the room and luckily, he found their school bags in the corner of the room.

He walked towards the school bag and took David's bag.

He tried searching for the phone but couldn't find it, he poured out everything from the bag and suddenly the phone fell from it.

"Shit!! Why didn't I think of this while we were in school" Jamie thought as he picked up his phone and gave it to David to unlock?

David unlocked the phone and gave it back to him. Jamie went to the call log and dialed Hannah's number, immediately it started the ring.

Hannah answered the phone call and said hello, just as Jamie was about to speak, the door opened revealing Dave.

He quickly ended the phone call and hid the phone behind his back.

He gave the phone to David and he quickly kept it in his trouser pocket.

Dave walked in and stared at the kids in the room while he stared at the picture Jeff had sent.

His eyes suddenly came in contact with David and he stared at the picture to be sure it was him.

It was him, David.

"You are David right?" Dave asked, staring at David who nodded in response.

Dave stared at the rest of the octuplets, if he took just seven out of the octuplets, he wondered where the other one was. He sighed softly and turned to David.

"Come with me," he said and David stared at the octuplets and then stood up obediently and walked out with Dave.

Where are they taking him to, what if they are about to hurt him? Jamie and his siblings thought worriedly.
