Claimed By My Three Alphas -
Chapter 126
Levi watched Amery leave after school. He tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen to him so he let her be. She had been feeling down all morning and he couldn't help but feel as if he had a hand in it as well. He wasn't supposed to feel bad or guilty for what had happened but so far, he regretted it. Amery was only in this mess because of him. If he hadn't had s*x with her in the first place then none of this wouldn't have happened so to an extent, he had a hand in this predicament as well.
His brothers were mad at him and they both considered him a traitor. He had always planned on doing this to spite them and shove it in their faces but why does it suddenly feel wrong? His main plan had always been to kill her and restore the brotherhood bond between his siblings but so far, he had only succeeded in drifting them apart and to think that he hadn't even used the potion that Madeline had given to him on her last visit too.
Levi felt torn. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand were his brothers who hated him and on the other hand was the woman he shared a love hate relationship with. How would he fix the cracks and make things better again? Would killing Amery solve this issue as intended or would it bring more chaos between them? Or a more better question, why was he hesitating to do it?
He never hesitates and he sees to all his plans to the very end so why was today any different? Why was he feeling remorse towards her? Why did his heart flip whenever he saw her sad or in pain? What was this strange feeling that he couldn't fathom? "Prince Levi?" The driver called, snapping him from his thoughts back to reality. "Are you ready to go?" He asked and Levi nodded his head in affirmation.
"What about Asher?" He proceeded to ask. "Isn't he going to join us to go home?"
"Asher has left." He broke down the news to him. "I dropped him off at home before coming back here to pick you up. He said that he didn't want to ride back home with you."
"Fine. Let's go." He said to him and the driver immediately started the engines. He pulled out of the school's premises and zoomed off as they made their way home. The ride home was tense to an extent because Levi didn't know what to expect when he arrives. Asher and Quincy had made it their life mission to stay away from him and they haven't been on talking terms too. It was almost as if he dreaded going back home.
They arrived an hour later and Levi stepped out of the car and made his way towards the entrance of the mansion. The minute he got closer, his wolf picked up a strange yet familiar scent. He had definitely perceived this scent before but where?
He opened the door and ushered himself in and to his greatest surprise, he found Natasha in the arms of Asher acting all lovey dovey with Quincy seated on the couches staring at them. They ignored him but he wasn't about to ask why they did though. His main concern was the b***h seated on his brother's thigh and his purpose for bringing her to their house.
"Levi." She called out in surprise and adjusted herself to sit properly. "You're ba-"
"What are you doing here?" He retorted fiercely. His tone told Natasha that he wasn't excited to see her as she had hoped. She had wanted to build a relationship with all three brothers but seeing Levi react like this told her that it would definitely be impossible. Quincy had barely spoken a word to her and now him.
She forced a smile. "I came here with my boyfriend so-"
"Get out!" He barked at her. She flinched and threw a glance at Asher who remained quiet as though he didn't hear what his brother had just said to her. They all had a thing for yelling and for some reason, it terrified her. She had thought that he would at least try to defend her but from the looks of things, it felt as if she was on her own
"But Asher and I-"
"Would you rather I throw you out of the house myself?" He questioned and she immediately picked up her bag and scurried out of the house.
"Really?" He directed his question at Asher who looked uninterested in whatever he wanted to say. "You're bringing a human to our house now? We're barely trying to fit in and you're giving people more reasons to suspect us?"
"Amery is a human, is she not?" He countered. "And yet you never chased her away whenever she came here. To top it off, you went ahead to screw her over and over again so don't act like you haven't done worse" "Amery's case is different and you know that." Levi said through gritted teeth.
"Is it?" He asked nonchalantly. His voice laced with humor. "And since when did you care about people being different? You have never cared about anything other than the fact that you wanted to kill her so how on earth is she different now? Answer me!" He thundered, his eyes blazing in fury. He could feel all his emotions sizzling through his veins at the very moment to the point where he felt like punching someone.
"We had a bet-" Levi started.
"A bet that you weren't interested in from the very beginning or have you forgotten?" Asher cut him short. "You did everything in your power to ruin that bet. You gave us reasons to annul the bet because you hated the idea that a woman would be the one to decide our future but you didn't think twice before f*****g her. You think that I'm stupid Levi?" Asher inquired. His eyes fixed on Levi as he spoke. "I know that you're planning something. You always do and I blame Amery for falling for a snake like you." "What did you say?" Levi threw his bag on the couch while Quincy watched the exchange between them. He didn't want to interfere because he had a few thoughts of his own about the matter.
"I said that you're a snake Levi." Asher repeated. "You're a lying, betraying, cheating and self absorbed snake who doesn't think about anyone but himself. You disgust me Levi. You might be the oldest but between the three of us, you're a coward." Levi threw him a punch and it landed on his jaw. His lower lip suffered a bruise and blood oozed out from the opening.
"I'm the coward?" Levi asked as he approached a staggering Asher who was struggling to find his footing due to the effect of the punch that he had suffered.
"Am I the coward or is it the ego bruised Asher who ran away and hid himself for weeks simply because a girl rejected him." Levi's words touched a muscle cause Asher's lips twitched in anger repeatedly. "Just admit it Asher. Admit to the fact that your intentions to Amery aren't pure from the very beginning and that the only reason why you wanted her so badly was because of the prophecy and the throne. You just want to mark her to fuel your ego and win over all of us. You don't even care about her."
"At least with me, she knows that she's not safe and that I might turn on her anytime soon because that is who I am but we all know that you are not who you say you are Asher and that's what makes you the coward and a full blown one at that." Levi spat and Asher lunged towards him. They both thrashed on the ground throwing punches and fighting against themselves.
"Would you all cut it out already?" Quincy snapped and they froze. "I'm already sick and tired of all of this and if I'm feeling like this then I can only imagine what Amery could be going through at this moment."
They detached from each other but had each suffered a bruise or two from the other.
"I mean just look at us." Quincy started. "We can't even agree on anything so how on earth did we expect the poor girl to take a stand between the three of us. She must have struggled to keep it both together and maintain a relationship but our toxicity made it impossible for her to do so."
"I'll admit that I had brought up the bet between us and I am also aware of the prophecy that wields our destiny but we are brothers before any of this." He continued. Asher and Levi shared a glance but quickly looked away.
"I'm seriously tired of the fighting and bickering." Quincy lamented painfully.
"You're obviously tired because she has never wanted to have anything to do with you from the beginning. You had always known that you never stood a chance when it came to her so I'm not surprised that you're trying to act like you have our best interest at hearts because I know Quincy, that you don't." Asher shunned him and Quincy scoffed at his brother's words.
"And to think that I had expected more from you Asher." He blurted out. "Yes, you're right. At first I thought that I wanted her. Scratch that, I needed her. I didn't care if it was because of the bet or because I was bored but when I got closer to her and got to know her for who she was, I knew then I had to have her for myself. I did everything to make her mine Asher but then I saw her with Levi and then I realized that I had to let her go because it isn't worth it. Us fighting over her is just not worth it you i***t!" Quincy yelled at him but Asher rolled his eyes in a sarcastic manner.
"Quincy is right." Levi conceded. "I am also tired of the constant war and fighting between the three of us. I just want us to be at peace again like it was before. If I had the chance to make it possible so that Amery ends up with all three of us as her mate then I will." "But you can't." Asher primped. "And you never will. The prophecy was there for a reason. One of us has to mark her whether we like it or not and that's why you made your move to claim her for yourself. You wanted to have her so that Quincy and I die. Isn't that the reason why you had s*x with her? If you were so considerate about us then you wouldn't have done it but you did."
"Is the bet and marking Amery all that matters to you right now Asher?" Quincy yelled in a stern voice.
"Yes." He answered almost immediately. "If I wanted to lose, then I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of coming here. I wouldn't have done everything that I did to get to this point. Marking Amery and owning is all that matters to me now and I'm going to do it." He took a step forward but Levi stopped him. "And then you're going to do what? Ruin her life?"
"I'm the best shot she has at staying alive anyways." He shrugged. "And besides, her life was made available for either of us to choose and it's going to be me. You all might not know it yet but I am one step closer to achieving my goal. I am one step closer in beating you."
"Don't you dare do anything to hurt her." Levi threatened but he chuckled.
"I should be telling you that because I know you Levi and I know that you're always up to something so be rest assured that I am watching you and when you slip, I'll be there to swoon in. Your days of deceit and lying to her will be over soon and I will do my very best to expose you." He warned and stormed out of their presence.
"I cannot deal with this anymore. I need some air." Quincy announced tiredly and left the house as well, leaving Levi to his thoughts on what Asher was planning to do.
