Cold Hearted Mate
Chapter 6

It was late at night when May came to her room and she told Louve that the Alpha requested her presence in his office.

Every time she interact with May she always seems like she wants to tell her something but never does. She asks her about it as soon as she deals with Alpha grumpy pants.

Louve walked to his office, opened the door with one hand covering her eyes and asked, "Is it safe to look, Alpha? I don't want to walk in on anything again."

She just said that to spite him, what she didn't expect is for him to say, "You can come in rouge, I made sure that my Beta is not here for you to sink your claws in." "That's okay, I can always sink my claws in him later." She answered him as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Sit down, so we can talk." Connor angrily said as he clenched his fists.

Louve took a sit and waited for him to sit down in his majestic chair.

"First of all, I want you to show some respect to me as your Alpha, secondly, I want you to stay away from Dolf and any other male for that matter because I can't trust you to control your slutty self around me. You even reek of him at this point it's beyond shameful!" He said to her looking seriously.

Louve crossed her arms and said, "Excuse me, but are you insinuating that I am a slut?" She asked him with a hurt look on her face.

"I am not insinuating anything, I am telling you that you are a slut. What more can you expect from a rogue."

Louve just keep quiet and listened to him even though she was boiling on the inside.

"I actually called you here to tell you that you that you are going to be staying in a house inside the territory, from tomorrow onwards because my Luna is not comfortable with you staying in the pack house." "Mates are kicking us out? I thought we were his Luna?" Harou said in her mind.

"I also thought we were his Luna." Louve answered her wolf.

"The beautiful woman you saw with me earlier today." He proudly said to her.

"You mean the bimbo that was choking you with her tongue?" She asked him as she cut him off mid-sentence."

"You will not call her a bimbo, okay bitch! She is your Luna, so show her some respect!"

Louve feel the moisture in her eyes as Connor shouted at her because of the bimbo and caller her as his Luna and not her.

"You will stay in this pack and work as an Omega, while I live my life with the woman I love, which is Hailey not you! She shall be my Luna, have my pup's and walk by my side." Connor said to her with a blank face. "What?" She asked Connor even though she heard what he said, she can't believe he said that to her, his mate.

"You heard me... rogue." He said, spitting out the word rogue as if it burned him. His voice was void of any human emotion and his face expressionless.

That's when she lost it, who the hell does he think he is? She could feel her heartbeat increase and her tears in her eyes but she didn't let them out.

She won't give him the satisfaction of seeing her cry. She couldn't let him see just how much he broken her.

Louve spent all her life wishing for a mate, only for her to get this. She guesses it is true that you should be careful what you wish for. Mate or not, she will not stay here and be his puppet nor will she blow down to him or anyone else for that matter.

Her heart broke as she thought of ways to escape her supposed to be mate. She doesn't know why the moon goddess would punish her this way. She doesn't even know why she would tolerate the nonsense till now.

It wasn't meant to be, and so without thinking she looked at his cold expressionless handsome face and said...

"I Louve Andrew reject you Alpha Connor Theodulf as my mate!"

The moment the words left her mouth she felt like someone was painfully clawing at her heart. She didn't dare look at Connor afraid of what she would see in his eyes.

"Lo-Louve..." Connor said with a shaky voice.

Her wolf Harou clawed at her, trying to console her mate.

She couldn't help but look at Connor and what she saw in his eyes made her want to take back her words. She saw pain, heartbreak, anger and regret. The mere look into his eyes made her question her decision. Before he could say anything, she dashed for the door running away from him, her mate, leaving a part of her heart and soul with him.

For anyone who is wondering, her mother - Alpina, was a white wolf and Luna of the Lunar Eclipse Pack, she once rescued a witch name Helena from a rogue attack. Helena and her mother became best friends so after her pack was killed and some other stuff she don't wanna get into happened.

Helena raised her as her own daughter and thought her some magic spells. The daggers were her gift from her mother and a force field that protects her from harm is from Helena.

Ever since she did the reservation spell in the cell her magical side had prospered and flourished she actually enjoying using magic it takes her head away from a certain Alpha that she don't wanna mention his name.

The Dark Moon Pack has been looking for her since she left. The problem is that there are looking for Louve Andrew and no one knows her, even she as Harou received a letter asking her to help find the future werewolf queen a.k.a. herself. The only people that know both her identities are Helena, Theodore - Helena's mate, and Lupe.

It's been a week since she left the Dark Moon Pack and she have never been so miserable, all she do is ignore the pain while she take out her anger on dangerous rogues on the most wanted list during the day and wallow in self-pity while she cry to sleep at night. A tear left in her eyes as she thought of what could have been. She just couldn't get him out of her head. His eyes are the only thing she see when she closed her eyes. His voice is the only thing she hears in her dreams at night.

She just doesn't know he still intrudes in her loneliness, all she knows is that because of her wolf doesn't have a mate and she blame herself for that.

"Don't blame yourself girl, remember that you and I are one. There is no one in werewolf; the fact that I don't have a mate also means that you don't have one too. I don't blame you for what you did. Yes, it hurts but that doesn't mean I would have allowed him to treat us that way. Besides, it would have been worse to see him with another woman or to accept his crap and live a horrible life in a toxic and abusive relationship." Harou said to her.

"You are right girl, but even after everything he's done, I still want him. I still want to be loved and right now, I don't see that happening soon, what's even worse is that deprived you of being loved also." Louve said to her wolf.

"You have not deprived me of love, you have shown me love and we are going to give each other so much love we would suffocate from it." Harou said.

"Thanks for cheering me up, girl." Louve said to her wolf.

"It's my pleasure girl, as long as you know that I love you so much. I would die for you, like literally die for you whether I like it or not." Harou said.

"If you did, I die too, we will be together forever. The moon goddess made a great choice pairing us up. I just wished she made that same choice when pairing us up with my mate our other half." Louve said to her wolf.

Connor feels so tired right now, he tried to open his eyes but he couldn't. He tried moving his body but he still couldn't. Everything is just so painful, even breathing. "Alpha!!!"

Connor slowly opened his eyes and quickly closed them because of the light. He then opene them again and wait for them to get used to the light intensity.

"Where is she?" Was the first thing he said to Dolf.

"She's nowhere to be found, no one knows her. She just disappeared into thin air." Dolf replied.

Connor heart shattered as he thought of what condition she could be in.

"How long was I out?" He asked Dolf.

"You've been in a coma for two weeks, the doctors said your wolf caused you internal bleeding when he clawed at you from within. They said you were already experiencing immense pain which caused you to faint." Dolf said.

"I've been here for two weeks and you haven't found her?!!! What type of King would I be without a Queen?" As soon as he got to his pack house, he called all the Alpha's and asked them if they knew of a rogue by the name Louve Andrew.

He can't believe he just let her go. He let the miracle that the moon goddess gave him go away.

He always thought that his mate was dead, he swear that he felt her die. He always thought that he was not destined to have a mate but he still had some hope.

"Alpha we are looking for her everywhere, we even asked lady Harou to help us find her and we are yet to get a response."

Connor looked up at Dolf as he stood in his doorway.

"So, Harou is alive then?" He asked him half interested.

"Yes Alpha, she came back a while after you got into a coma, she had been unstoppable lately. She's more brutal, something must have happened to her while she was gone." Dolf said.

"Stop telling me about Harou and tell me about my mate!" He screamed at Dolf as he grabbed him by his collar and lifted him up the wall.

"I-I'm s-sorry Alpha." Dolf reply as he tightened his grip on his neck, choking him.

Connor knew that he would die if he carried on chocking him but he couldn't control his wolf, he wanted to kill him along with everyone else. "Stop! I'll tell you where Luna is."

Immediately Connor dropped Dolf on the ground and looked at the little girl in front of him.
