Lacey's P.O.V.

"KLAYTON!!...KLAYTON BASTARD ANTONELLI, GET YOUR STUPID SICILLIAN A*S BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!"

I growled as I angrily stormed after my cousin.

I was beyond pissed with him but despite how angry I was feeling, I didn't miss all of the fearful and worried expressions on the faces of Klayton's men who looked like they were about to soil their white fronts because of how I was speaking to their Don. "Has this girl lost her goddamn mind?"

"She must've done, nobody and I mean NOBODY speaks to the Don of la famiglia Antonelli like this unless they've either lost their mind or they've got a death wish" (The Antonelli family)

Two of Klayton's men muttered to each other probably expecting me to either not hear them or not listen to them but I did. "Actually boys, my mind was already lost the day I was born into the Antonelli family and I don't have a death wish but I d wish to kill your Don, if he doesn't get his STUPID f*****g A*S BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!"

I growled startling all of the men, as well as my husband who was also panicked because of how angry I was.

"Babe, calm down and think of our baby"

"That's exactly what I'm thinking about, Logan"

"Are you? because you're running around this place like you've lost your damn mind"

Oh god, not him as well.

I stop in my tracks and look at my husband who was once again startled by my sudden change in demeanour.

"Do you know why I'm here, Logan?"

"Lace..."

"No, answer my question, Logan, do you know why I've come here tonight?"

I interrupt my husband who closed his eyes and sighed.

"Yes babe, I know why you're here"

"And why am I here, Logan?"

I ask him as I cross my arms over my chest.

"You're here so that you can finally end things with GIGI once and for all"

"Exactly"

I say with a smile.

"Christmas is days away and I wanna relax and enjoy this holiday with my family without this dark, skanky cloud hanging over our heads...I want her dead and gone so that we can all move on and be happy"

"I know, love, I want that too"

Logan said as he closed the space between us and wrapped his arms around me.

"Then why is Klayton stopping me from ending this for good when just yesterday, he promised to let me speak with her one last time before he killed her"

"Well..."

Logan was about to answer me when he was interrupted by my cousin.

"Because I'm looking out for you and trying to protect you, my little cugina"

Klayton's dominating voice says from behind me.

I turn around and glare at my cousin who was standing there looking like the big, bad, dominant alpha wolf that he is with his hands neatly tucked into his pants pockets and standing on either side of him are his two lackeys Benjamin and Connor. He's wearing one of his expensive black suits, a black trench coat and his jet-black hair has been styled into a perfect combover. Anyone who didn't know him or anyone who was meeting him for the first time would instantly be afraid of him because that's how scary and intimidating he is but not to me he's not.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Don jackass and his two stooges tweedledee and tweedledum"

I say earning shocked gasps from those around us as Benjamin and Connor glare at me.

"Hey, now hold on just one second, Lacey..."

Ben said angrily but was quickly cut off by Klayton who held his hand up to him indicating for him to shut up.

Klayton briefly looked at an annoyed Benjamin before looking back at me, he didn't look too happy with me but I didn't give a s**t because I was pissed off with him.

The room was eerily silent and it was filled with a tension which was so thick that I doubt even a hacksaw could cut through it.

To be fair, it's not surprising the tension in the room is as thick as it is considering it's practically unheard of for anyone, it doesn't matter if you're a member of the family or not to disrespect the Don of a major mafia like this.

The tension in the room grew thicker and you could see the fear on the faces of Klayton's men when he slowly approached me like a lion stalking it's prey.

When Klayton was mere inches away from me, he gently gripped my chin and glared down at me.

"Don't be mean, Lacey, it's not in your nature"

"And breaking promises isn't in your nature, Klayton but here we are"

I growl at my i***t cousin who smirked at me slightly.

"I'm doing this to protect you, Lacey"

"Protect me from what?"

I ask in frustration.

"From what you've told me, Klay, GiGi hasn't even got the strength to hold her own piss let alone have the strength to attack me because of how much you and your men have punished her" "That's true"

"Well, then what's the problem? what are you so afraid of?"

I ask Klayton and he looked away from me with an expression on his face like he was thinking about what I said.

I knew I was close to breaking him down and I was determined to do or say anything to get my big cousin to agree to let me talk to GiGi even if it meant I had to question his security and his men whom I know he takes great pride in making sure are the best of the best. "Are you worried that your men or worse you and Logan can't protect me from one weak little girl?"

I ask him and he snaps his head to me with a nasty glare on his face.

"You're going too far, Lacey"

Klayton growled and I smirked.

"Am I? am I really going too far Klayton?"

I ask him.

"I'm surrounded by one of the biggest and strongest mafias the world has ever seen and it's headed up by a man who has always been so protective of me that he'd literally take a bullet for me, not to mention, the man behind me would rather die than let anyone hurt me and that includes GiGi, no matter how weak or strong she is"

"But you're pregnant, principessa"

He says and I smile.

"I am...but that doesn't change anything, Klay"

I tell him but he still looked hesitant and I knew I had to bring out the big guns for this one.

"What was it you said to me not too long back, hmm? you told me to act like an Antonelli, right?"

I ask him and he narrows his eyes at me in shock, like he either wasn't expecting me to say this or he couldn't believe that I'd have the balls to throw his own words back at him.

"Family is forever with us, Klayton...do you really think I'd risk the life of my unborn child for someone like GiGi f*****g Addams?"

I ask Klayton who closes his eyes while sighing in frustration.

"No, you wouldn't"

"Exactly"

I say with a smile.

"I just wanna talk to her, Klay, I'm not asking for hand-to-hand combat with her"

I say earning a few chuckles from those around me including Benjamin and Connor.

Even Klayton's lips quirked up a little as he narrowed his eyes from me to Logan before looking back at me.

"Do you promise you won't get physical with her?"

He asked me and I smiled because I knew that I'd won.

"I promise...my baby means more to me than hurting her, besides....I highly doubt anything I do to her can be worse than what you've already done to her"

I say and he smirks.

"You're right, kid"

He says as he kisses my forehead.

"Ok guys, let's go... it's time we end this girl for good"

Klayton says to his men and we all get in our cars.

We then head towards the docks where Klayton owns a warehouse which has been GiGi's home ever since he kidnapped her.

The drive was quite a bit away from Klayton's home and the closer we got to the docks the more nervous I started to feel but I knew that I had to do this, if not for mine and my family's safety then for my own peace of mind.

I know you're all probably thinking that I should just let this be and leave everything for Klayton and his men to sort out but I can't, for some reason, my mind just can't seem to rest.

"Are you ok, love?"

Logan asks me as he gently caresses his thumb over the back of my hand.

"For the thousandth time, Logan, yes, I'm fine"

I say with a chuckle.

"If you're so fine, Lacey then why are you nervously shaking your leg and drumming your fingernails on your phone" Huh.

I looked down and sure enough, he was right, my right leg was shaking uncontrollably and my fingers were drumming repetitively against the screen of my phone.

I instantly stopped doing both but as anyone with anxiety would know, it's hard to stop doing things like this because it serves as a distraction or is a way to cope with a situation that is either abnormal or is causing you anxiety, so it didn't take long for me to start doing them both again.

"I'm fine, Logan, I promise...I just can't wait for all of this to be over and done with, that's all"

"Me too, love, me too"

Logan said as his grip on my hand tightened a little.

We arrived at the docks and I made sure to keep myself wrapped up warm when we got out of the car because it was already cold and being near the water was making the night air even colder.

After getting out of the car, I looked around and the scene in front of me gave me creepy and scary vibes because it was so dark and quiet and all of the big and intimidating men dressed in black made the scene even creepier. "You ready for this?"

Klayton asks me and I nod my head.

"Yeah"

"Ok...I want you to know that once you've asked GiGi what you wanna ask her...I'm gonna kill her, if you wanna stay you c but I'd rather you didn't, principessa"

"Ok"

I didn't know if I wanted to stay to witness that scene, in fact, I think it's probably for the best if I don't.

My mind is already f****d up and I don't need the mental image of GiGi's dead body in my head, especially, since I've got her parents and kids living with me.

We all headed inside of the building which looked like something you'd see in one of those deranged movies like Saw. There were dozens of cages that looked like dog cages but I wasn't naive and I knew that Klayton and his men had never had any animals living in them unless you wanna call the dregs of society animals.

There are also several cabinets going along one of the walls which had clear glass doors on each one so that you could see all of the t*****e weapons inside of them.

My eyes then narrowed to the middle of the room where there was a spotlight shining brightly on a badly beaten up woman who was covered in blood and dirt and she was tied up to a chair.

I also noticed that she was bald and her fingers were covered in blood as well.

Jesus Christ.

"I'm guessing Cassie got her wish to give GiGi a new haircut and a manicure, hmm"

I say and Klayton smirks.

"You know me, kid, what my wife wants, my wife gets"

"Ditto to that, brother"

Logan says and I shake my head at the pair.

"What?"

Klayton asks as he chuckles.

"I always knew you were f****d up, Klayton but I didn't know just how f****d up you actually were"

"It's part of being an Antonelli, kid"

You can say that again, cousin.

"Ok guys, let's wake GiGi up, it's time for her final photoshoot"

Klayton smirked and I rolled my eyes whilst chuckling.

This boy is so freaking dramatic.
