Death Wolf Chapter 33

A man walks in the silent forest, his heavy steps approaching a camp in an open area, surrounded by trees.

The grass below his feet gets changed to red carpet, as he approaches the tents. The men on either side, bowing on his arrival.

“Sir Daniel! You are back.”

He doesn’t reply, going towards his quarters. To only enter the biggest tent in the camp. Sitting on his seat, he breathes heavily, running his hand through his hair.

“Fuc*! What the hell was I thinking!”

He curses himself for acting the way he did with the unknown girl……yes he planned to play with her but he went a bit overboard. He never does that…on the contrary he rarely engages with the women specie. He detests them with passion.

Picking up a silver goblet, he fills it with wine. Gulping the liquid in one go.

To only see her innocent eyes in front of him. Those orbs of brown looking so scared and vulnerable.

Afraid that he will hurt her.

And he curses again , throwing away the goblet.

F**k!

Why was he affected by her? She was just a tool…and he was it’s user. That’s it!

“Daniel man what am I listening-“

A boy of 26 enters, his green eyes looking at his brothers furious ones to only lift up his hand.

“Woah! I haven’t seen you loose control in a while. What got my brother’s knickers in a twist.”

“Shut the f**k up Ray. I am not in the mood. Leave”

Ray doesn’t, sighing he sits beside his brother. Picking up a goblet of his own and filling it with a drink.

“It’s about the girl. Isn’t it?”

Daniel chuckles in annoyance.

“So the news is already out?”

“Yuppp! They say you met the prophesied one today. How was she?”

Daniel just sighs, getting up to look outside. His hands folded behind his back.

“I am not sure if she is the one.”

Ray stills. Keeping down the glass.

“What do you mean?”

“She is too innocent. Too weak and delicate. The death Wolf’s spirit won’t choose a weak body like hers.”

“To hold in the strength of the most powerful wolf in the world. The person has to be strong.”

Ray nods, agreeing.

“But did you see her neck? Was it burned like it’s usually after being rejected?”

“I did”

Daniel looks back at Ray, nodding.

“Yes she was rejected and I don’t think she has accepted it as there were bruises all around her neck.”

Ray sighs.

“That alone is not enough of a reason Daniel. There are hundreds of rejected all over the world that haven’t accepted the rejection. How do we know she is the one. I am sure you are mistaken.”

Daniel looks in deep thought, to only look down at the book of death wolf. Moving his fingers over the first page.

“I could be. But it was her name that made me doubt.”

“Her name?”

“She is named after the thunder. And she told me the day she was born, it was a thunderstorm.”

“Her parents?”

“None. She was mysteriously found in the forest.”

And that’s when Jay’s mouth opens in shock.

“Shit! The book says of the origin of the prophesied! It says the person will be a child of moongoddess with no real parents! It says…thunder striked when the prophesied was brought to this world.”

“Indeed. Yes”

Daniel agrees, seeing the picture in the book. A thunder striking the ground as a child lays wrapped in blankets near a river.

“I guess we found her finally brother.”

Closing the book Daniel places his hand on his brothers shoulder.

Looking emotionless like usual.

“Let’s begin the preperations then.”

“I can’t believe this! She can be our biggest asset to destroy these werewolves! If she is with us , no one can save them from getting wiped out of the world’s map!”

“We hunters will rule this world and that Alpha King of werewolves, will be at our feet begging for mercy.”

“Oh God Daneil! I have waited for this day since forever! I can’t believe it…..but…will she agree to help us?”

And that’s when Daniel nods, placing his palms on the wooden table.

“She has to.”

“She will be left with no other choice.”

“Are you planning something?”

“The plan is already in action Ray. Was the rogue captured?”

“Yes. But why did you-“

“I had to do it. I also made sure to leave my scent on her and k**s her mark so that he questions her relation with me.

Now Volkan will doubt her…… thinking her to be working with us….he will punish her. Making her hate him. “

“And then when she has nothing to justify with. He will will try to break her, making her hate him more.”

“And then my little brother. The girl will come to us on her own.”

“Asking us to save her and we will then use her as the biggest tools against her own kind.”

Ray was shocked would be an understatement. Smiling he looks at Daniel in disbelief.

“Damn brother! You are so smart! I would have never imagined that something like this could be possible.”

“That’s the first rule of being the Ruler Ray. Don’t destroy your enemies yourself, watch them destroy themselves. And in the end when the last one remains? Fight them with your everything.”

“I am so in for this fight bro! What do we do next?”

Daniel goes and sits on his chair. Clenching his fist.

“We wait.”

Ray smirks, enjoying the game his brother was planning. While Daniel’s smile disappears for a second as he saw her innocent eyes flash in front of him again.

Can he really hurt the girl to such extent?

Why did it hurt him?

Why was he reluctant?

He has just met her, he can’t possibly be already attached to her.

He had to do it anyways, women were nothing but weakness. And he will not make her his.

Instead he will make her his biggest strength.

He will mark her as his and he will rule this entire world.

With the girl who could summon the death wolf.

To be his.

Clinking the glass of his wine with his brother. He marked the beginning of the journey to be the most powerful man in this world.

If only he knew the true strength of the wolf, he was going to mess with.

If only he could see the storms that those brown eyes veil behind their innocence.
