Death Wolf Chapter 58 (Book 2)

Alexandria struggles with consciousness. A whimper leaving her lips as she holds her stomach and turns into a ball while laying on the marbled slab.

Her hands clenched in fists as she sees the boy getting beaten to pulp in front of her eyes.

Silas

The man was unstoppable. Seeing red. And she had no doubt in this, that he will kill the boy.

“You dare to touch what’s mine!”

“You piece of sh**!”

“Me…rcy….y…our….highn…ess…I … didn’t knew…”

“Please….”

Alexandria couldn’t understand much. Her own mind numb. As she sees Silas choking the man. The man thrashing under her grip.

“Ahh sto….p…”

“I will fuc*ing kill you!”

“Stop! Silas… please…”

He stills hearing her saying his name for the first time. And his hands drop from the boy’s neck.

His enraged dark green orbs settling on her teary grey ones and he calms down.

Rushing towards her. Concern covering his features as he sees her state.

“Agggghhhhhh”

A scream leaves her lips as another wave hits her and she sees black dots covering her vision.

Her back arching and mouth running dry.

“Hey. It’s fine. I am here”

He caresses her cheek with his thumb, touching her tenderly like she will break if he touched. His other hand moving down to pull down the hem of her skirt and pull her towards his chest.

“You are fine little one. Just breathe.”

Tears leave her eyes as she sees those green orbs , trying to calm her. His embrace working like magic.

“Silas…”

“Shh little one. It’s fine. No one will hurt you.”

“I am here”

Pulling her in his arms. He presses her to his chest. Their skin comes in contact and those sparks ignite like fireworks.

“I…um….feel…hot”

She says and he looks over her face. To only curse. She was burning up. Her eyes dropping.

The heat after meeting one’s mate for the first time is unbearable. And she was experiencing it.

“Stay with me little one. It will go away. Okay?”

Her grip on his collar tightens, to have her nod. As she sees him looking around for help in concern. Picking her up and taking her down the halls somewhere.

His beautiful face was the last thing she saw as her vision was going hazy.

“Fuc*!”

I curse, seeing the human girl go limp in my arms. To only kick open the infarmary door.

I see Ace and another human doctor along with him, looking at me in shock.

To only make me send Ace a mind link.

Get him out. Now!

Ace nods, asking the other human guy to leave us alone and he does reluctantly.

Placing her on the bed, I place my hand on her forehead, to see her burning.

To only get hit by her heavenly scent.

My wolf urges me, going berserk inside me and I hold my breath.

Damn!

I can’t control myself. Her scent, it’s too much. Before my wolf goes out of control and takes her right here.

I need to do something!

Once the door closes, I couldn’t hold it in anymore.

Rushing towards the wardrobe filled with bottles and injections.

I ask him over my shoulder.

“Where is it Ace?”

“It’s in the third drawer to your right. “

I look at him, to see him touching her forehead and staring at her. And I couldn’t help roar.

“Don’t you dare touch her! Stay back!”

He retreats his hand, bowing down to me.

“I…I am sorry your highness.”

Shaking my head of the , rage and desire. Building up inside me. I take a deep breath to fill the injection with the liquid and inject it into my arm.

Within seconds my heart rate comes down and I feel my normal senses returning. My dark vision returning to normal.

My wolf retreats, whining to only calm down.

Breathing heavily , leaning against the wall. I look at her.

Finally.

“Your majesty. If you want I can-“

“Just get out and make sure no one enters”

He bows. Obliging.Leaving us alone. And I walk slowly towards her.

She was sweating profusely. Her forehead covered in creases,as she opens and closes her mouth in discomfort.

Her lustrous lips loosing their colour and her face looks pale.

This was inevitable.

It was the first full moon today after our first meeting and this was bound to happen.

I can’t believe, the little thing is my mate.

Really?

She is going to be alot of trouble. I can already tell. But I have no choice, I have to protect her.

Sitting up on her bed, I scoop her in my arm. As soon as our skin comes in contact, the creases on her forehead cease. And her body relaxes.

Placing her limp form on my chest, I hug her tightly, pulling up the comforter on top of us. Her cheeks pressed on my chest. Her legs entangled with mine.

I lean my head back on the headrest, sighing. And I can’t describe the feeling.

Looking down at her peaceful face, I can’t help caress her cheeks with my fingers. Placing that rogue fringe behind her ear and looking at her closely.

She was innocently beautiful.

I remember how we argued the first time in class and a smile escapes my lips.

“Don’t tell me that you believe in this werewolves and mate’s thing? They are utter bullsh**”

Taking a last look at her beautiful face, I cover her up with the quilt.

And walk out of the room.

“Any traces of the boy?”

Closing the door behind. I sigh. Replying while looking at the empty halls around.

“No Jason. Not yet.”

I hear a a dissapointed sigh. While I run my hand through my hair. Feeling tired after the injection I injected myself with.

“Remember why I sent you there Silas. You have to find the boy.”

I clench my fist nodding to myself. Jason has done so much for me, he was the one who picked me up from rogue lands,when I was on verge of death and made me the king of the entire werewolf kingdom that I am today.

Being the Beta of the former werewolf King, he trained me well to help me reach where I am today.

I may have royal b***d in my veins, but he was the one who identified it.

And I can do anything for him.

He was like the father I never had. He was my everything.

“Don’t worry. I will find him , no matter what it takes.”

I can’t let him down.

Ending the mindlink. I look at Alexandria one last time to only place my hands back in my pockets, to walk away.

I can’t get distracted.

I have to find this boy, which was lost 18 years back. To be only left in the human world.

I have to find the heir of the werewolf Kingdom.

I have to find the unknown child of Thora and Volkan Knight.

And I will upturn the entire world if I have to, to locate this mysterious person.

With determination set in his eyes, he walks away from there, oblivious to the fact.

That the unseen heir of werewolf kingdom.
