Beginning of lives is a mystery and so was the beginning of werewolves. Adaptation was the key. As those who adapted survived, but those who couldn’t perished.

The birth of human ,after prolonged ages of adaptations was a know fact. Yet what about the adaptations that failed?

What about those who adapted , but couldn’t do it completely.

What about those exceptional few stuck in between?

You are right. Those were the werewolves.

The first half human, half wolves.

A failed beings who couldn’t adapt fully, yet who did a miracle of surviving.

A Prodigy.

Yet,not everyone had such beliefs. The gods couldn’t let something survive, which couldn’t develop fully into human beings.

Human gods considered werewolves as a threat to a humans.

A mistake.

And they got very eager to correct it.

A disease was the most easy alternative. Yet it failed miserably. Backfiring.

Humans all over the world died because of these deadly life threatening diseases. Villages perished.

But werewolves? They were superior beings.

They were unaffected by the bacteria and viruses.

Immune to it.

Afraid of the werewolf race’s invincibility and growing population. Human gods realised that there was only one way to eliminate this threat.

And that was.

Self destruction.

To make one of their kind, the most powerful. Who will end the werewolf existence.

And that’s when they gave rise to the strongest wolf known in history.

The Death Wolf.

It was not easy to find the human soul who will be it’s perfect counterpart until a little orphan boy came , on door of death.

Asking just one wish

End of werewolves.

With his parents getting killed by werewolves in front of his eyes at mere age of 5. He wanted to avenge them. He wanted to end their existence.

And that’s when the human gods decided, to give him the title of what they called in their world.

The Summoner of Death Wolf.

Years passed.

The boy grew up with humans, hating werewolves.An old human couple, took care of him. Loving him like his parents and he was happy with them, living a normal life. Not knowing the wolf that existed inside him.

Until he shifted one day, on attaining the age.

And he had never seen anything like him.

With jet black fur and b***d red eyes, he staggered back afraid of his own self.

He was never seen a wolf like him before.

He thought he was a monster.

Subsiding the beast in him.Hiding his identity from the human world, he didn’t let anyone know his real identity.

But how could he hide, when he was brought in this world with a purpose?

One un fateful night. The rogues attacked the human village in which he lived. Killing everyone, including his human parents.

And that was the last straw.

He saw red after it and went crazy. Killing werewolves and lining piles of their dead bodies. He alone has declared a war against the entire werewolf race, when he himself was one of them.

2 years.

He has grown unstoppable. With unmatchable power, his madness knew no limits. Killing thousands of werewolves till then.

He only lived for their b***d. He only lived for their vengeance.

And the human gods were satisfied. Having found a solution.

However, it was short lived. As the werewolves joined forces. Determined to end the menace of the death wolf.

And they almost succeeded in it.

The boy had lost for the first time that day. The power of the werewolf unity, bringing him down on his knees. Bloody and helpless, he ran for his life in the forest that night followed by thousands of werewolves with torches at his lead.

And he thought his end was near.

Until her.

A girl with the most beautiful angelic face. Pulled him behind her and placed her palms on his mouth. While covering him with her shawl. Engulfing his scent with hers.

To save him.

His eyes were closing, with the loss of b***d. And her features get covered with panic. When she moves back from him.

With heavy eyes, he was waiting for death.

When he saw his heaven before.

The girl shifted in front of him, a bright yellow light emitting from around her. To only change into the most beautiful pure white wolf, he had ever seen till now.

Approaching him, she looks into his eyes.

And that’s when he knew ,he has fallen in love at first sight with her.

With a girl who was a werewolf herself.

Yet ,the girl who was different from their kind.

She was the girl who saved him that night.

She was, as humans called.

The summouner of light.

They grew closer. And she slowly showed him the soft side of werewolves he wasn’t aware of. Changing his heart which only had hatred towards their kind.

Time passes and they were living a happy life.

Experiencing the magic lof love in their lives, with the boy having a reason to live now. To not hate werewolves.

However, this was not what the human gods wanted. And they made a plan to freeze the boy’s cold heart which was melting for the girl.

They made the werewolf girl, a target of the rogues.

They made her vulnerable.

The rogues killed her.

And after then, there was no stop to the death wolf. He went crazy. The girls death filling him with only one thing.

Hatred.

150 years.

He continued to kill. Eliminating one of the largest packs from the world map. And not only werewolves, his thirst for b***d made him kill humans as well.

Death wolf has grown to be the biggest threat on very life on earth.

And the human gods were scared beyond comprehend. Not knowing things would turn out like this. They did everything to stop the death wolf, but it was impossible.

The wolf was invincible.

And that’s when the gods approached the girl, asking for a solution. Knowing only she can stop him now.

The girl was none other than , her.

The goddess of werewolves.

She asked only one thing in return from human gods. And that was life of werewolves. To give her a world where humans and werewolves co exist.

With her taking the responsibility for all werewolves.

And the human gods agreed to it.

Descending on earth. The girl stood in front of the boy with a wolf having b***d red eyes. Blinding, having lost humanity. He didn’t recognise her and was going to attack her.

When she forwarded her hand, lightning the entire forest with a bright light. Making the death wolf go blind.

A painful cry leaving his lips, to go still.

As he realised who she was.

His angel. The girl he loved.

“S-elene?”

He stutters. Not able to believe his eyes. A light emitting around her head, making her look like a goddess.

“I didn’t love the man you have become Than. I didn’t love a beast.”

“S- elene. I no. No…I am not. I did it to avenge your death Sel. This world deserves to die! They killed you!”

Selene just smiles approaching him. The light blinding him, yet he looked at her in awe. She looked beautiful in that site dress. She looked like a goddess.

” Wh..ere did you go Sel? I searched for you everywhere.”

A smile comes on her lips.

“I never left you Than. I was there with you always. But not anymore.”

“I can’t love the beast of a person you have become. You are not the man I had fallen in love with Than”

“No! Sel! Please no! Don’t leave me! I can’t…live without you Sel ! Please!”

“I am sorry! I did all that to get you…I was blinded by anger! Please! I…will stop…just cone back to me ! “

She stares at him blankly. Not giving any emotion.

“But the damage has been done Than. You have destroyed families. Children. Innocent beings.”

“There is no happiness..no me. Till you have cleared your evil sins. Till you have payed for your sins.”

Than had tears in his eyes. Seeing Sel’s figure moving back from him.

“No! Don’t leave me! Please! I will do anything to get you back! Punish me! Please! But don’t go!”

“The journey is not easy Than. Nor is the punishment.”

“I don’t care Sel! Tell me!”

“You have to earn me back Than. You have to repent till the time I take birth again.”

He looks at her in disbelief.Making her clear his doubt.

“I am not alive Than. I am just a spirit. I am already dead.”

“No-…no Sel-“

“But my soul will take birth again. A hundred decades later, a prophesy will rise. Giving you the chance to claim me again.”

“You have to win me back then.”

Than looks at her in disbelief. Yet the determination in his eyes, to get her back. Evident.

“But how? How will I know it’s you?”

“It’s my soul that will tell you.”

Looking at her hands, she emits a ball of light. Showing it to him.

“My light will guide you.”

” But what if…you move on from me? What if you forget me and don’t love me?”

“Then you have to earn my love again Than.You have to prove me, that you are worthy of my love. You have to teach me to love you again.”

“Your mate? How will I defy him?”

“You control minds Than. Don’t you? You can make me reject him?”

Than nods. Clenching his fist. Ready to give away his everything for her. Willing to wait for centuries for his true love.

“I accept Sel. I can do anything to get you back.”

And that’s when Sel closes her eyes. Looking up at the sky. Opening her palms.

“Goodbye Than.”

A strike of thunder and lightning hits the sky. And next they know.

The tree bark behind opens up. Pulling Than’s soul to it. Fear covering his features.

“What…what are you doing Sel? Let me go!!!”

He says thrashing, getting trapped in the tree. Unable to move, even an inch. Crying hysterically.

While she had a cold look on her face.

“I am sorry Than. But your freedom ends here.”

“You will stay trapped here forever till that day”

“No! Sel! Don’t! How will I find you then! Please! I will die here! Please!”

“That’s your punishment Than. I am sorry. But I can’t let you cause any more harm in this world.”

“No! You are deceiving me! It’s impossible! I will never find you if I stay trapped like this!”

And Sel moves back from him, increasing the distance between them.

” I love you Than”

Sel smiles back at him. Ending his menace by using her power to lock him in the tree forever.

While he begs, tears streaming down his eyes.

“No! Sel please!!!! Nooooooooooo”

She didn’t wait. Going back further. Till a bright light hits hem. Blinding everything.
