The day had passed slowly, too slowly for Naomi’s liking and fortunately it was now time for the sheikh and her to take their leave and say goodbye to the children.

Naomi imagined for a moment thinking that Emir was perhaps deceived, after all he had not become, everything was too calm, warm for such an event to happen.

She hoped to return to the palace and get her papers back and get the hell out of this country as quickly as possible.

Even though she was definitely going to miss him.

Yes, the stress made her rude, but how could she not be? when an unknown danger constantly hovers over your head.

They were all in the courtyard of the large building saying goodbye, the children around them asking for hugs.

Naomi tried to smile, to be relaxed, after yet another goodbye, they headed towards the car which a guard hastened to open, under the incessant swinging of the raised hands of the children who did not stop shouting in the heart 《bye-bye Emir, bye-bye Naomi.

Then they heard a screeching tire, and large cars came out of nowhere and surrounded them, hooded men hastened to position themselves around them with trumpets, heavy steps and hand weapons.

Emir moved imperceptibly closer to Naomi and whispered to her.

– don’t worry, it’s going to be okay

And the screams followed, the cries of the children echoed in the small courtyard, running to get inside.

– Zeyneb, you too. Added Emir when he saw his cousin get out of the van.

It was then that he noticed with astonishment that the little one had not moved from her place, she was there, paralyzed, looking at Emir with her eyes filled with tears

She just shook her head no.

Emir made a sign for Zeyneb to take her but the little one began to struggle and cry.

Emir for the first time was shocked, Zeyneb and Naomi didn’t know where to put their heads.

– Come on, let’s get out now. Aziz shouted, quickly pulling Naomi towards the van which drove off

The last image Naomi saw was the bloodied body of little Nour lying on the ground, a dagger buried in her back. Aziz had thrown it when she was running.

Emir then rushed towards the little one who he carried in his arms. She looked at him with tears streaming down her cheeks but smiled.

He sat directly directly behind the car followed by Zeyneb. And the driver understood what he had to do.

– When I grow up, I’ll be a princess, right? she began.

– you are already a princess Nour. Replied Emir.

What was certain was that he was going to die from this same dagger, he made a promise to himself.
