Desert Encounter
Chapter 48

In the early morning when Naomi opened her eyes, she was pleasantly surprised to see Emir sitting on a chair, drinking his coffee, looking at her.

– hello

– sabah el kheir hobi.

She properly arranged the sheet cover over her bare chest to cover herself.

– you never sleep?

Emir smiles at him

– I just woke up.

– shower and get ready too it seems.

– you could say that.

He moved closer to her and brushed aside the few strands of hair that hid her face.

– thank you for this wonderful night hayati.

– it’s no longer hobi, now it’s haya… what?

– hayati. Hobi sounds good in your mouth you should call me that often.

– don’t worry, I don’t know the meaning.

– As you wish.

He stole a k**s from her.

– Emir we have to talk, you promised me.

– I know, meet me in my office.

– All right.

– well I’ll leave it to you, I still have some paperwork to fill out. He said, giving her a k**s on the forehead as he moved away from her.

– just now.

Emir left the room and Naomi huffed, hitting her head on the pillow, it was the big day.

She was a little apprehensive about Emir’s reaction to the crazy night he had just had.

In the early morning when Naomi opened her eyes, she was pleasantly surprised to see Emir sitting on a chair, drinking his coffee, looking at her.

He had shown himself to be very friendly, fierce, possessive, gentle, but also capricious.

He never seemed to be satisfied, he always wanted more, finding stratagems to make her succumb and succeeded each time.

Emir had shown him once again, a new part of himself, far from the terrifying sheikh who eliminated everyone in his path, just a few days ago.

A new breath and Naomi finally decided to get up and take a shower.

This time, there was no change of clothes waiting for him. So she borrowed a shirt from Emir which seemed three times too big on her but that didn’t matter to her.

She left the king’s bedroom, looking from left to right for those gossiping servants and fortunately for her, she saw no one.

She then walked forward quickly, barefoot and at the bend of a corridor, she saw two servants who when they saw her, I bowed politely, before leaving laughing.

– oh shit. she cursed before returning to her room.

Once ready and her bags closed, she headed towards the sheikh’s office with a confident step.

In front of the door, she felt a slight fear, before deciding to enter without knocking.

– they will be here in a few days. Followed by one of Emir’s advisors, whom she noticed from a distance.

– All right. Prepare everything to happen to them.

– good, your majesty.

Naomi remained in front of the door, Emir finally looked at her with a look that was intended to be tender.

– miss. Said the advisor, bowing before going out and closing the door

– why does everyone bend when they see me?

Emir just shrugged his shoulders casually.

– majesty? she teased.

– I have nothing to do with it, I promise, and don’t call me majesty, I’m not that for you.

She just nodded and sat down opposite Emir.

– I guess that’s why you want us to talk. Said Emir.

His expression had changed, he was no longer joking. He took the bag he had put at the bottom of his desk and placed it on the table.

Naomi looked at her backpack wistfully, who would have thought she would experience all of this?

She inhaled deeply and when she released her breath, she said her face also turned neutral

– yes.

– well, I’m all yours

– Emir, I’m going home.
