Desert Encounter -
Chapter 5
Sheikh Emir Al Khali showed unfailing composure since the start of this expedition.
Hidden behind his scarf, he blended in behind the tourists who came to visit his land, impatiently awaiting the moment when his uncle’s men would finally show themselves.
He secretly hoped to see him in person.
Determined and imperturbable, he had followed their famous guide whom he suspected of complicity with the rebels through these actions.
The arrival of the sandstorm marked a turning point when he saw the rebels attack them.
He would have liked to act quickly and put them out of harm’s way but a small disruptive element attracted all their attention.
The spectacle offered by a young tourist irritated her at most, she was really naive to stand out in this kind of situation. However, he could not deny his courage to not let it happen, not like the majority of these men around him who were trembling with fear.
But the fact remained that he could find her stupid, the woman’s place was in the kitchen, submissive, reserved, not engaged in a standoff with rebels. Thought the sheikh, bringing out his cavernous and traditional side.
When he saw the rather frail young man who accompanied him being stabbed by the one he considered their leader, he did not even pay attention to the veil which had just fallen to the ground, thus revealing the magnificent face of this beautiful adventurer.
He then had only one goal in mind.
He stood up as quickly as lightning and gave a violent punch in the stomach to one of the men who surrounded him in order to strip him of his weapon with disconcerting flexibility.
Yes Emir al Khali was very strong, he was the best warrior in his entire Kingdom.
Sword in hand, he quickly disarmed all the attackers around him, not paying attention to the fight that had broken out between the rebel and two of the men present.
The others preferring to step back, thus protecting their lives.
Emir managed each time to spare their lives because his aim was to question them on his return to the palace.
He had to know where his uncle was hiding.
Looking around him, he noticed the young woman being kidnapped on the back of the leader of the group
《that was not planned》which he said himself.
She was gesticulating and from a distance we could already see the fog announcing the prominence of the storm. The sky was getting grayer and grayer, as gray as his eyes, and the wind was blowing harder and harder.
Soon he would have difficulty distinguishing everything.
Then with surprising speed, he knocked down all the men who prevented him from reaching his target and freeing his daring tourist.
The sheikh then managed to block it by punching the man in the jaw who had just thrown the crying young woman onto the horse like a sack of potatoes and a merciless fight ensued
.
Well placed kicks and rights from the two seasoned fighters, they both knew they had abandoned their weapons, it was a matter of ego, the strongest, the best between the two, neither wanted to let go socket.
But fortunately the sheikh was the quickest so when his opponent gave him one last punch on the face he flexibly dodged it before sending him in turn an uppercut which sent his opponent flying further and to the ground.
Emir had to hurry, time was against them.
This is why he did not notice that his scarf had come off, revealing his entire face.
He then turned towards the horse, which sensed the danger of the storm was stirring and dropped the young woman to the ground before fleeing with his fellows, he looked one last time at the place where the man who had just put ko but it had simply disappeared.
he walked towards the young lady and tried to carry her to gain time but she began to shout and flail around, spouting incomprehensible words, so not wasting the time that was wildly lacking, he had to do like his predecessor.
Throwing it over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and taking it slowly towards the rocks where he saw with surprise the men he had knocked to the ground and many others tied up by the men of the group. And among them was the guide.
《Your majesty?》 stammered one of the men who had recognized him.
Oh no, he said, noticing his scarf hanging at the sides.
He threw the young woman to the ground with delicacy and she crawled directly towards the one he considered perhaps her husband and noticed that it was too late for this young man.
Eyes wide open, a hand placed on his wound, a tear in the hollow of his left eye, covered by his glasses, Romeo was frozen like a statuette. He was dead.
Watching behind him because of the strong gusts of wind, he went towards his young stranger who was crying over the corpse of her beloved while running and snatched a blanket from the ground while screaming.
《Go to bed》
knowing that there was a strong possibility that she expected nothing from what he had just said but it didn’t matter.
The storm was coming to fall on them.
