{Leah’s P.O.V.}

“Do you have a mate?” Sin asked me. Why the f**k did she want to know if I had a mate?

“Thanks for rubbing that in Papa,”

“Sweetheart, this is not something that is set in stone right now, we are just humoring their theory for now,” Alpha Jefferies said

“When and how long?” I asked them

“All five of them will be here Friday afternoon and will either leave Saturday or Monday. It will all depend on whether or not you are the Beta’s mate,” Alpha Jefferies replied. I nodded. He gave me back my phone and I went to go find my parents. If mom already knew, that means my dad did too.

I knocked on their door and found them in the study just reading.

“Mom, Dad?”

“Come in Leah,” my dad replied

“I am guessing you guys already know?” I asked sitting in the armchair next to the couch they were on.

“Yes, and we are excited,” my said with a smile on her face

“Speak for yourself honey,” my dad said

“Darling, we talked about this. She wants a mate, and it is high time she found him,” my mother said to him

“But if she is the mate to a Beta of another pack, she would have to leave,” my dad pouted. My dad loved me more than anyone, other than my mom.

“I know that it is not ideal, but she would be protected, loved, and she would be with Sin,”

“Sin, that young Mexican girl you used to play with, right?” he asked. I nodded.

“I don’t know if Papa told you, but she and her friend Allie have both turned as of earlier today. Sin is now the Gamma female, and her friend Allie is the Luna, both were full human up to this point,” I explained to them.

“Was it their choice to turn?” he asked me. I nodded. “How old is this Beta?”

“Papa and Alpha Jefferies said that all the ranked members of Desert Moon are in their late 20’s. He also said that the Alpha and Gamma found Allie and Sin on the same day. The Beta is also still pure apparently,”

“Is he now?” My mother got excited. I nodded again

“According to Papa, he has been saving himself for his mate, just like me, so I guess it wouldn’t be too bad, as long as he is decent looking,” I shrugged.

“I guess we will just have to see how this all plays out. I don’t like this, but I also stand in the way of it. You deserve to be happy and in love with your mate, so if this Beta is it, then I will let you go, baby girl,”

“Awwww, dad!” I got up and hugged him. My mom came and hugged us both.

{Allie’s P.O.V.}

Friday came faster than we expected, luckily Dorian and I both packed Thursday afternoon, but Sin and Mikey didn’t start packing until this morning. And we were waiting on this finish. Dorian has been mind-linking Mikey all morning to hurry. Brandon has been more than anxious in the last few days. He has been dying to find his mate, and it was killing him to see that Dorian and Mikey found Sin and me the same f*g day.

“Oh my gosh, just tell them we are leaving without them if they…” I stopped mid-sentence when I heard footsteps coming down the stairwell.

“Sorry!! I am so sorry!!” Sin said while catching her breath and Mikey standing behind her.

“Sin! How the f**k as nothing changed with you? Even when we were working at the club, we were constantly late leaving the damn house because you refused to prepare in advance!” I said putting my hands on my h**s.

“If we are all done arguing, can we please get a move on!?” Brandon was halfway out of the front door. Please moon goddess let Leah be the one I prayed to myself.

Mercury, do you know if Leah is the one?

Sorry, girl, I do not. Jupiter and I won’t know anything until it happens. I should say if it happens.

Do you know what her name would be at least?

Sorry, I do not know that either. We are not named until the mother gives it to us.

We finally piled our luggage into the car and got in. Simba was driving us. Brandon sat in the passenger seat, Dorian and I in the first backseat, and Mikey and Sin were in the back. I could see the excitement on Brandon’s face. He looked like a little kid going out to pick out his new favorite video game or something. I have seen the worst side of Brandon, that night I ordered him and Mikey to kill Jessica. Seeing this side of him was a welcome change.

The drive took us about two hours, and the majority of the time, Sin and I had to fight the urge to jump our mates in the car. The mate bond was strong, and it made me wonder how Dorian was able to control himself all that time I was not ready to give in to s*x. Whenever we were in the car, I would sit in Dorian’s lap, but I didn’t this time. I was afraid I would dry hump him all the way to the Mojave Mountain Pack. I already knew that Sin was giving Mikey a handjob in the car. That was the least she could do without full-on sucking him off in the car.

Dorian was oblivious and so were Brandon and Simba. I just shook my head because I knew Sin could not resist. Being a wolf heightened my senses a lot, and sometimes certain smells just got to me more than others. We were about 20 minutes away and I was trying to fight my sleep. I hated long road trips because I typically got car sick in the backseat. I felt my head starting to bobble from fatigue and dizziness.

“Allie, baby are you okay?” Dorian asked me

“I get car sick easily,” I said while trying to hold my head up. Dorian unbuckled my seat belt and put me on his lap. I settle into his chest and inhaled his wonderful lavender ocean breeze scent. It actually settled my stomach. I closed my eyes and rested the last few minutes into the drive. Dorian woke me up not too long after and we were arriving in front of a beautiful mansion.

“Wow, this place is gorgeous!” I said while looking out the window. We pulled up into the roundabout, and before the even stopped, Sin had jumped out of the car. I just laughed and shook my head.

Dorian opened the door, and we got out together. We were greeted by the Alpha and Luna of the Mojave Mountain Pack.

“Alpha Shaw, and Luna Park, welcome to Mojave Mountain Pack,” Dorian and I bowed our heads as did they. “This my Luna and my wife, Lilian,”

“It is a pleasure, Alpha Shaw and Luna Park,”

“The pleasure is ours. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home,”

“Please, the pleasure is ours,” we both smiled at one another. She was definitely older and more motherly.

“This is my Beta, Brandon, and our Gamma Mikey. You met our female Gamma Sin,” he said while shaking his head as Sin ran in through the front door.

“Please forgive Sin. She is quite excited to see Leah,” I said

“Oh, Sin has always been welcomed in our home. Other than Leah’s father, Sin was the only other human that knew of our existence,” Alpha Jefferies said. “Beta Brandon and Gamma Mikey, it is on honor to meet you,” Alpha Jefferies said while shaking both of their hands.

“Please follow me,” Luna Lilian said and led the way to the entrance of their home. We walked in through the front door, but Sin was nowhere to be found.

“Where in the world did Sin go?” Mikey asked.

“She may have gone straight to Leah’s room. As you can imagine, Leah is not too happy about the arrangement,” another older gentlemen said while welcoming us. “Alpha, Luna, Beta and Gamma, my name is Beta Jonathan, I am Leah’s grandfather,” he said while bowing. Dorian shook his hand.

“Dorian, let me go find Sin and Leah, we will meet you in Alpha Jefferies office,” I said

“It is on the third floor, the last door to the left,” Beta Johnathan told me. I bowed my head and turned back to Dorian.

“See you later, baby,” he said and gave me a k**s.

I made my way up the stairs and followed the directions that were given to me. I heard some giggling and cussing and knew I was close. Luckily, Leah had left the door to her room open.

“Knock, knock,” I say before peaking my head through.

“Oh, you must Luna Allie! It is an honor to meet you!”

“Hi, you must be Leah. Please just call me Allie. Any friend of Sin’s is a friend of mine,” Leah was pretty and looked to be half Asian. She was the same height as Sin, standing at about 5’3, she had a pretty frame, her boobs were decent sized, not as big as mine or Sin’s but not flat chested either. And her booty was cute. I think Brandon would be okay with this girl as his mate. “Leah, if you don’t mind me asking, what nationality are you?”

“Oh, I am half Vietnamese. I get it from my dad’s side,” she said with a big smile.

“I see. I’m full Korean,” I said to her even though she didn’t ask. I think having another Asian girl in the pack would be nice.

“How about we go see the guys?” Sin said and I saw Leah hesitate a little.

“Leah, I know the reason for us being here is strange and all that, but it really is just to see. If you aren’t Brandon’s mate and the third wolf to our Desert Trio, then we leave tomorrow. But that doesn’t mean anything bad either. It just means I jumped the gun,”

“She’s right Leah. The three of us can always be friends,” Sin said locking arms with her.

“Is he good looking?” she asked

“Brandon? Good looking? Girl, if I wasn’t mated to Dorian, I jump Brandon’s bones,” I told her, and Sin just nodded in agreement.

“Can you guys describe him for me?”

“Leah, a description would not do him any justice,” Sin said.

“You have to see for yourself,” we leave out of Leah’s room and head for the stairs.

“Oh my god, who is that?” Leah asks. We look and see Mikey.

“Oh, he is mine!” Sin said

“There you guys are! Dorian sent me to look for you,”

“We were just on our way down Mikey,” I said. Sin takes Mikey’s hand and walks way first.

“Please tell me Brandon looks like that?” Leah whispered

“I think Brandon is better looking than Mikey in my personal opinion,” her mouth dropped, and I smiled. We got down to the office, and the door was still jar. I open the door and walk in with Leah right behind me. I turn to close the door, and the moment I do, something rushes past me and pins Leah against the door. I step back and see Brandon.

“MINE!”
