Desert Heat Chapter 32

{Sin’s P.O.V.}

We were finally heading back to the Mojave Mountain packhouse. I was so excited to finally see Leah and Brandon officially announce their bond to everyone. Mikey and I were heading back in one car with Simba driving, and Paxton and Nick following behind in another. It took some convincing on my part to get Nick and Paxton to join us. All three of our guards are unmated, and we could not understand why. All three were good looking and super sweet. At first, Allie thought they were gay because we never saw them with girls, but come to find out, all of them took a vow of celibacy after sleeping around. Dorian apparently rubbed off on a lot of guys.

The guys were young too, all three of them were 24. Dorian chose them as our guards because they were all scary looking. All three of them are covered head to toe in tattoos and were huge. I actually found out from Mikey that all three of them were there at the club too. Allie and I had no idea because we were too busy worrying about Devin. It was because of their initial encounter with Allie and me that Dorian decided they would be our guards. The other guys that were there that day worked for Dorian and Mikey at the security firm.

“Simba, are you excited to see if we can find a mate for you?” I asked him from the back seat.

“Gamma, I doubt we will find my mate at the same place the Beta found his,” he responded

“Ai dos Mio, don’t be such a Debbie downer,” he smiled and kept on driving.

“Honey, do you honestly think they will find mates?” Mikey asked me

“Doesn’t hurt to try. And even if they don’t at least they will get to the party and have some fun with all of us,”

“Honey, they’re still your guards, they will be on patrol, not having fun with us,”

“No, they will be enjoying the party with us! Because they will be next to us the whole time,” he just shook his head and I pat Simba on the shoulder to reassure him.

After another thirty minutes, we arrived back at the Mojave Mountain Packhouse. I jumped out of the car again and just ran inside. This time, it was okay because we were just coming back and not being formally greeted.

“I’m here!” I announced to no one in particular.

“What’s up skank!”

“Hey, hoe!” I heard my two favorite girls. We had a big group hug and squealed.

“What can I do to help?” I asked

“Nothing, we’ve been banned from helping because you and I are guests and Leah is the guest of honor,” Allie said to me.

“Cool beans, so which one of you wants to spill on the dirty sexy talk?”

“SIN!” I heard Mikey yell behind me. Allie and Leah just giggled. Leah then paused and stared. I thought she was staring at Mikey, but when I looked, Nick and Paxton were standing there too.

“Wow! Who are they?” she exclaimed. Allie and I laughed. She had a mate and she was ogling other guys.

“Those Sin’s guards, Nick and Paxton. Nick is the guy with blue hair and Paxton is the guy with the neck tattoos,” Allie said

“Yeah, and you met Simba last time,” I added

“Are all the guys in your pack this f*****g hot?” Nick and Paxton just smiled at her.

“Pretty much,” Allie said. “Dorian makes sure that all of the fighters and guards are in tip-top shape. Also, I have seen them firsthand, they are all very blessed if you get what I mean,”

“Shut up b***h! When?” I asked.

“The night that my worst nightmare finally died,”

“How do they NOT have mates?” Leah asked. Honestly, Allie and I had no idea either, so we just shrugged.

“Leah, will you be a doll and escort them to their guest rooms?”

“Sure, Allie! Also, Sin, you guys will be using the same room you did before,” I nodded. Mikey and I went up with Leah and the guys to go put our things away.

{Allie’s P.O.V.}

After I was left alone, I figured I would go out back and see if there was anything, I could do without getting yelled at for helping. Dorian and Brandon went out for a run and would not be back for a while. I walked around and just little things here and there like helping balance something, hang up decorations, and a little heavy lifting.

As I was making my way around, I noticed a group of three girls just sitting at the table blowing up balloons. I looked closely and they were identical triplets. They were pretty too. They were all-natural read heads with freckles. They also looked extremely young. I decided to approach them.

“Hi girls,” I said as nicely as possible

“Hello Luna!” they said in unison.

“Do you need any help?”

“Oh, no thank you, Luna, we are all good,” one replied

“Yeah, we do it this all time. We mastered the art of balloon blowing,” another said.

“You mean you mastered the art of d**k blowing,” the first one said. The second girl scowled at her.

“You can sit with us if you like,” said the third. I smiled and sat down with them and made small talk.

“So, I guess the three of you are triplets?” I asked. They all nodded with balloons in their mouths. “What are your names?”

“My name is Katie, I’m the oldest,”

“I’m Savannah, I’m the second oldest,”

“And I’m Ava, the youngest and our parents’ favorite,” she said in a joking tone.

“Shut up Ava!” Katie and Savannah yelled. I couldn’t help but laugh.

“How old are you?”

“19,” all three said. They were older than I expected.

“Do you have your mates yet?” all three shook their heads ‘no’. “I am quite surprised, you three are very lovely,”

“Thank you!” all three said. I just made a look and they all smiled. We talked some more and got to know one another. Everyone at this packhouse was very friendly. Everyone I had met was all so nice, and there did not appear to be any bad apples in this pack. The only issue I was having was being eyed by some of the unmated male wolves. You think they would eye their own pack members.

Off in the distance, I heard a howl and instantly knew it was Bandit and Eddie coming back. A couple of minutes later, a large black wolf and a chocolate wolf jumped over the fence.

I cannot wait to go running with Bandit

Soon, just hold on a little longer

Bandit walked up to me and the triplets and they froze in fear. Bandit ignored them and immediately nuzzled up to me. He was so warm and soft. I hugged his big snout and scratched his ear.

“Luna?”

“Oh, I’m sorry girls. This Bandit. He is Dorian’s wolf,”

“Ohhhh!” they all said.

“Bandit, this Katie, Savannah, and Ava, they’re triplets if you couldn’t already tell,” Bandit bowed his head. The girl bowed in return. Just then Eddie came up to us as well. “Girls, this is Eddie. He is Brandon’s wolf,” they all smiled and waved. “Can one of you text Leah to let her know Brandon is back? I don’t think she has ever met Eddie,” Katie immediately took out her phone.

Eddie laid down and just waited. Bandit went behind a tree and shifted back into Dorian. He came out with a pair of shorts they had laid aside.

“Hi, baby,” he said and gave me a k**s.

“Awwww…” I giggled and Dorian sat down next to me.

“Luna, we are so envious!!” Savannah said tugging on a balloon to stretch it out.

“Seriously, we cannot wait to find our mates. We hope we can have a loving relationship like you and the Alpha,” Ava added. “Also, we hope they look like the guys in your pack Luna,” all three giggled.

“Or even Leah and the Beta! I mean, how lucky is she!?” Katie said. Just then Leah and Sin came running out with Mikey behind them.

“Oh my gosh, are you Eddie?” Leah asked staring at the huge chocolate wolf in front of her. He pranced over to her and rubbed against her. “Wow, you are so handsome!”

“Honey, introduce Mitch to everyone,”

“Sure,” Mikey said and walked behind a tree and undressed. A moment later, Mitch emerged.

“Oh wow! Mitch is silver,” Leah said. Mitch bowed to Leah. “Wait, why did he bow to me?”

“Because he knows that you are the future Beta female, it is a sign of respect since he is a Gamma. You technically outrank him,” Dorian said.

“Where did the boys go?” I asked Sin

“Oh, they’re tired so they wanted to nap before the party starts,”

“Boys?” Savannah asked

“Oh yeah, Sin and the Gamma brought their personal guards with them, they are super-hot!” Leah said to the triplets. Their eyes started beaming.

“NEW EYE CANDY!” Ava squealed. Eddie nudged Leah and made a sad face.

“Eddie, come on she is just complimenting them. You told her I was smoking hot, so she can say that about other guys too. It’s only looking,” I said to him and he huffed. “Alright guys, back to your human forms,” I said to Eddie and Mitch. They went behind the tree and changed back. Mikey decided to just carry his shirt.

“Wow!”

“Holy f**k!”

“Goddamn!”

All three of the triplets said at the same. We all just looked at them and three of them blushed and went back to blowing the balloons.

“You girls act as you have never seen a hot guy before,” Sin said to them

“Have you seen the guys in our pack, they don’t look like them!” Katie said pointing to our guys.

“Leah you lucky b***h!” Savannah shouted. Leah just took out her tongue.

“This is too fun, so I am just going to flat out ask you,” all three looked at me. “Who do you think it is the hottest out of our guys?” I look back at them and all three are smiling waiting for their answers.

“Allie!!” Sin and Leah shouted

“What? They are 19 and unmated, let them have enjoyed the eye candy while it lasts! And Leah is leaving with us, so this will be the last time for a while she can hang out with her pack members and friends,” both of them nodded their heads. “So, before you answer, how about each one of you take a balloon and give it to the one you like the most,” they all nodded and grabbed a balloon out of their basket. I made Dorian get up and go stand with the guys, while Sin, Leah, and I stood back and just watched.

“I’ll go first,” Katie said. She bit the tip of her tongue and just blushed. I’m sure having three of the sexiest men live right in front of you was making it difficult to breathe. “This is hard!” she yells, and we all start laughing. “I’m sorry!” she yells and gives her balloon to Brandon. Brandon winks at her taking the balloon and she runs back to her seat and covers her face.

“My turn!” Savannah says and steps up to the guys. As she was contemplating who to pick, I saw that a lot of the omega staff were watching and also enjoying the small game we were playing.

“Pick the Alpha!” someone yelled.

“No! Pick the Gamma!” yelled someone else. All of us just started laughing at how many people got into this.

“Savannah wait!” I shouted. She looked at me.

“Change of plans! All females can participate, mated, or unmated. Guys turn around and face the fence,” they looked at me funny. “Face the fence!” I shouted. They turned and faced the fence. “Okay, on the count of three, everyone line up behind the guy you think is the hottest,”

“Baby!” Dorian shouted

“It’s a game! It’s just for fun! Sin, Leah and I will not participate because we will be biased; however, we are going to make a bet,”

“On what?” Sin asked

“Dishes after dinner for a week!” I said.

“You’re on b***h!” they both shouted.

“Everyone ready!?” I asked the crowd

“YES LUNA!” they all shouted.

“One! Two! Three!” with that everyone started to run around to figure out who they wanted to stand behind. Sin, Leah, and I turn away so we could be surprised. “Is everyone in a line?” I asked

“Yes!” With that, we all turned around and mouth dropped to the floor. There were so many people, the lines looked even.

“Okay, we will each count the people behind our respective mates,”

“I see babies, do babies count?” Leah asked

“Yes! Each individual soul counts!” I said. With that, we got to counting. About five minutes later, we came back to the table and the crowd just waited.

“Sin?”

“24!”

“Leah!”

“24 also!”

“Allie?” they asked. I paused for a moment and looked at Dorian.

“YOU BITCHES ARE DOING THE DISHES! 27!!” The line behind Dorian cheered and Dorian came and hugged me and gave me a k**s.

“Alright! That is enough!” we all heard a voice boom. We look and see Alpha Jefferies. The pack disbursed and went back to work. “Luna,”

“I apologize, we were just having a little fun,”

“Please, no apologies needed, we were all watching from inside the house. It’s nice to see you include everyone,” I smile

“Alpha Shaw, you have a fine Luna indeed. She cares about others and tries to include everyone, even if it is at your expense,” he says and laughs. Dorian and I smile.

After our little fun, we all headed inside to get ready for the celebration. It was not anything too formal, but we decided to get a little dressed up anyways. All of the guys wore button-down shirts, jeans, and dress shoes. I wore an off the shoulder blouse with some jeans and black strappy heels. Leah put on a simple black dress and white pumps and Sin wore a floral pattern romper dress that had a sheer train and flats.

Alpha Jefferies announced the mate bond between Brandon and Leah and officially released her from the Mojave Mountain Pack. Immediately thereafter, Dorian invited her into the Desert Moon Pack. Everyone cheered and the festivities began. There was so much food and alcohol. It was insane. Everyone was dancing and having fun, that is, everyone except Simba, Nick, and Paxton. All three were just standing around with their hands behind their backs.

“God you guys, seriously?”

“What?” Simba asked

“It’s a party! Relax and have some fun!”

“Luna, we are on duty,” Paxton said

“Well, I am officially relieving all three of your duties for the rest of the evening! Now get your a*s moving and go mingle!” all three smiled and walked off to the buffet. I just rolled my eyes and walked around some more. I was saying my pleasantries to a bunch of people when I pulled to the side by one of the triplets.

“Luna?”

“Katie?” she nodded. The other sisters walked up to me. “Savannah, Ava?”

“Luna?” all three said.

“What is it?”

“Those three guys you were talking to just now,”

“My guards? What about them?” all three of them looked at me and bit their lips. “Oh girls, you think they’re hot, don’t you?”

“They are, but that’s not why we came up to you,” Katie said. All three of them had nervous looks on their faces, and sort of smirked.
