Chapter 31

I sat on the couch munching chocolate from the pack. "The Moon" was playing on the TV. I jumped up in surprise as suddenly Kai threw his dumb head body on the seat beside mine. I gave angry dagger looks to him but he acted like I wasn't even there.

I ignored him and then continued to watch TV but as I was gonna take another bite of chocolate, it was snatched away from me by Kai. My mouth dropped open and I seethed- "What.The.Hell?"

"Stop eating so much food you buffalo" he replied teasingly. "You're getting fat day by day."

"You are a pig. I'm not fat. Your eyes are just too scrunched by your fat to let you see straight. Give me my chocolate back." I took a step towards him threateningly.

"O.. look at little miss buffalo. Trying to play my game back on me" He laughed in my face. "Angry fat buffalo...."

That was it. I jumped at him and took him down on the floor with me. We tugged and rolled and fought and surprisingly, in the end, I was on the top of him. Straggling him on his waist. "Yeeeeehaaaaa..." I shouted on my victory.

"What.The.Fuck?" I heard Christian's voice and my voice stopped in my throat.

In a millisecond, I was pulled away from Kai's body and Kai was in the death grip of Christian.

"STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY MATE!" He growled in his face.

Kai's face was turning red from the pressure of Christian's hand on his throat. I came unstuck from the latest shock and tried to pull Christian away. After trying so much I was able to pull his hand back. "Christian please. What's the matter with you?" I shouted.

He just seethed in anger and glared at Kai who was trying to catch his breath. After a minute Christian's glare turned to me.

"Our room. Now." He gritted out and stomped away from there.

I gave a concerning look to Kai. His eyes were already on me. He blinked at me to assure me and walked away from there.

I turned and ran to our room.

All of them were unaware of the unknown figure who was watching all this with utmost interest. A smirk broke off his lips as he muttered- "That's all I need."

I peeped inside the door of our room to gauge current situation. Christian was standing near the window, his back to me.

"Come inside quickly and lock the door." He said. His voice sounded calm but I knew I was in trouble.

I did as he said and looked here and there for an escape. But before I could think anything I was thrown down on the bed and Christian was on the top of me. A short scream broke off my lips at his sudden attack. "Christian!!!"

"Hushh." His face was covered in anger. His jaw was clenched tight in order to control the jealousy. He crooked my legs aside and settled between them. I could feel his hardness through our clothes. Should I feel scared or aroused?

After taking deep breaths, his face descended and went in my neck to inhale my scent.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from other males?"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "And how many times do I have to tell you to stop being over possessive?"

"Ava, for God sake, stop arguing with me!"

I turned my face away from him. I could feel he was downright angry. I was already in trouble, I didn't want to increase the level of his anger.

His hands went up in my hair and fisted them tightly, but not too tight to hurt. His head came up to look at my face- "Look at me." He said in a angry tone.

I looked at him and that was it, his lips crashed on mine. Not slow or light but hard, fiery and urgent. All lips and tongues. Yum!

"Please stop going near Kai." After the long kiss he whispered on my lips. Our breathing was ragged, uneven.

My eyes opened and stared right into his. "I like him Christian." His jaw clenched hard and his demeanour started changing. But I quickly continued to stop him from going all gonzo on me, "But as a friend. You know he is the only one to call as my friend. I swear, I don't have any feelings for him, aside from friendly. Please Christian, please?"

He sighed, "I hate it when you go near any other male. But I promised you to be a better mate, so do whatever you want." My mouth opened to squeal in happiness but I had to stop because he continued, "But.. But are not going to let him touch you anywhere. And its not a request!"

After his macho speech, I squealed in happiness and gave a peck on his lips crazily.

But the peck wasn't enough for him I guess, 'cause after the peck, my hands were pinned down above my head, my body was naked and Christian was thrusting his cock in me. Hard fast.

A week after the arrival of Carter in the house the whole werewolf clan was sitting at the breakfast table. Though Carter wasn't with us. Well.. let's just say, he wasn't anywhere near me. When first day he had arrived at the house I had thought that Carter disliked me but now after a week, whenever I look into his eyes, I know, he doesn't dislike me. He hates me.

Whenever I'm around he either changes his way or completely ignores me with a very ugly look on his face. I dont mind. Its better to be ignored rather than stabbed by the sharp knives of hateful words. Though sometimes I feel awful. He is like my father. It stings that someone like my father figure, loathes me.

Christian had dropped down to the earth level with me. Having him around me, with me, was actually the most attentive and loving thing that I had ever experienced. He is always around. Loving me, playing with me, teasing me. I can't even imagine the difference between the old Christian and new Christian. Though I'm not complaining. The change is good. Awesome. Delicious.

I completed my breakfast with Christian. He grabbed my hand and lad me towards the entrance of the house. No one was around. He grabbed my waist, pulled me to him and kissed me hotly. His kisses are always hot. But before I could dwell in the sea of lovely memories, the kiss ended. Duhhh.

"I have to go now." He said while smirking. Jerk, he very well knows his effect on me. "Need to finish some pack business."

"Okay." I whispered. The aftershocks of kiss were still lingering on my lips.

He grinned, and walked away. I stood on the threshold watching him striding away along with his beta and other warriors. Hmmmmmm.. my hot shot love loves to tease me. I sighed dreamily.

I walked inside the house and went near the window to watch the children who were playing outside. I giggled at their mischiefs and strange games. After half an hour a girl's mother came to get her but the girl wasn't ready to go with her. In the mean time, the girl's father came striding down to the her, picked her up and sat her on his shoulder. She squealed loudly and the family went inside their house joyfully.

No one was there to notice but if anyone were, i was sure they could have seen the hungry look that came rushing in my eyes. I missed my family. My Mom, Dad, my life with them. Christian arranged to cast a spell on them so that they won't remember my existence. But what about me? They are an inseparable part of me, a piece of my heart. I want to see them, the love in their eyes for me.

I made a decision immediately. I'll talk to Christian to arrange a visit to my family. I'm sure he'll arrange it for me. After all I'm not running anywhere now. I'm sure, I'll be able to make my parents understand about Christian, about me.
