Chapter 33

He leaned into her and put his lips on her. But just as he put his lips on her she pushed him off her harshly which made him lose his balance and fall down on the floor. At the same time came a loud cry of his father to ask him to come downstairs fast.

Christian was too shocked to react to anything. How could the woman he loves can throw him off her. How dare she deny him.

His anger was visible in his eyes. His body started shaking in anger because of her stupid antics. But she wasn't calm also. There was nothing she could see at the moment other than feel betrayed by the man she loves so dearly. Both were staring at each other angrily. Both were hurt.

Just as Christian got up to give a piece of mind to her, his father's echoing voice stopped him from taking another step towards her.

He glared at her hard before stomping his feet in anger and leaving the room.

He ran down the stairs fast and went to his father to ask the reason of his desperate voice. His father along with some of their best warriors was already standing there waiting for him. He felt confused.

"What's the matter, dad?"

"We are attacked by Raven Pack." His father replied fast. "They penetrated our first boundary of warriors on the pack's territory and now they're heading towards the second one. I've sent one brigade of warriors but the matter is much worse then I thought it would be." He listened to his dad intently. The safety of his pack was his first priority so he instantly started making plans to stop them even before his father could complete his sentence.

On the basis of the situation there was only one way to stop them.

"I need to go and stop them." He said to his father hastily. There was no way he was losing his pack to some motherfuckers.

The decision was made. He told his father to keep the people of pack house safe while he is going to finish the war.

His mind was playing flashes of his love, his Ava in front of his eyes but he was too angry with her to go and talk to her. His ego stopped him from even inform her of his departure. His mind was foggy with his anger and ego.

Kai along with two of his most trusted warriors were appointed to guard the pack house and keep the people of his pack safe. Most importantly his Ava.

No way in hell he was going to talk to her until she asks for forgiveness from him.

So he left. On the war. Never looking back to see how she felt about his sudden departure and not even saying a goodbye to her.

Now its a month since he left on the war and she is waiting for his come back to give him the good news she has for him.

She is pregnant.

Finally. The news she was waiting for has came. He's coming back from the war.

After his departure she didn't even know when and where he went. Even after bearing his dad's hatred for her she went and asked about his whereabouts to his dad but got nothing more than angry taunts.

So not having any other option she went to search someone who knew about his whereabouts. That someone was Kai. He told her that he went on the war.

Kai's eyes were filled with sadness when he saw her tear filled eyes. He understood that Christian hadn't told her about his departure. He tried to console her but before he could say anything further, she ran away from there.

She ran and ran until she reached inside her room and locked it. Then she broke. Eyes puffed and red. She cried until there was no tears left. She cried for 3 days in a row.

She knew they fought. She knew he was angry with her and she was angry with him but this was no way to show his anger. He left without saying a word to her. Her heart was bleeding.

After 3 days of crying and 7 days of locking herself into her room, she only came out to eat her food. In the name of food there was only tidbits of food she could swallow. Her appetite had died.

Kai saw her dying every moment. He tried to tell Christian about her but he was not ready to focus on anything other than war.

At the day 15 she felt a funny feeling in her stomach. And then came an unstopping wave of vomit and dizziness.

No one was there to see her situation because she was locked up in her room. An unknown fear gripped her heart. She knew what was happening to her. But it was essential to conform.

So at night when no one was watching she went to the pack doctor for check up. And her thought was confirmed by the doctor.

She was pregnant.

She was scared. She was only 21 and Christian was only 23. Were they ready for this responsibility this soon? Was he ready to take this responsibility? Will he be happy by the news like she was feeling in her heart?

But the doctor knew what she was feeling. She could see it in her eyes. So she told her that it was common in the werewolf world to become parents at a small age. They live a long life. She said there were many couples who were younger than her. She said Christian would be over the moon when he hears the news.

She felt the relief flooding in her veins because of the words said by doctor. She felt immensely happy.

So she left the hospital happily to wait for her love. She was in the dream world. Though they fought but there was no way she was gonna let the feeling of anger overpower her happiness.

She locked the room from inside and decided that Christian would be the first person to get this good news.

But she was unaware of the person who was waiting desperately to hit his last strike and when he saw her leaving the pack house in the dead of the night and followed her and got the news of her pregnancy, that was it for him.

He got his chance. And just as she left the hospital room, he entered inside to execute his plan.

He was ready for his last strike now.
