Chapter 43

Ava and Van saw Christian coming closer to them with every passing second. It wasn't easy for them also. They just wished he will accept his fortune and move on in life instead of doing something stupid.

When Christian reached them, he didn't greet Van nor did Van greet him. They just looked at each other hard in anger. Christian's eyes slid to Ava and he extended his hand to grab her's. Van's hold on her other hand tightened.

Christian had that heated look in his eyes that was always reserved for only Ava. He pulled her hand up to kiss the back of her hand but just before he could do so, his intentions sunk in Ava's head and like a quick reflex, she snatched her hand away from his hold. Christian sighed heavily in sadness but didn't say anything.

"Inside.", Van said while he started walking inside the pack house with Ava beside him.

Christian followed them. His lips were pursed in anger. He had no control over his actions whenever he sees Ava with someone other than him. He wasn't afraid to admit that he was over possessive for her. And why wouldn't he be? After all she was his mate, he has every right to feel this way.

He was just waiting to get this talk over with and smash some shit in Van's head along with some punches. He just came here to take Ava with him. By tit or by tat.

They sat down on the couches opposite each other. The pack house was completely empty.

"Let's cut the crap," Van said while leaning forward, "and come to the point. I don't even understand what you want now. As you can clearly see, Ava is mine now. My wife and mother of my child. There is no point of any talk." He pulled Ava's hand up to his mouth and kissed it lovingly. Christian nails dug into his hand to the point of piercing the skin.

He moved forward, leaning in like a predator, "You cut the crap now and listen to me." His eyes were burning in anger. Every second of him seeing Ava close to Van was piercing his heart with needles from inside. "I don't care what you think or whatever crap you talk. She knows she is mine. She was mine even before you knew her. Her destiny is connected with me by Moon Goddess. Just forget every moment of yours with her like a dream and I may give up the idea of killing you bit by bit."

A smashing sound came loudly when Van broke the glass jug of water that was on the table by throwing it away hard in anger. Ava and Van stood up in anger even before the last words left Christian's mouth.

Van took threatening steps towards Christian but Ava grabbed his hand and instead walked towards a smirking Christian who was lounging lazily on the couch now. Her steps were slow but like a lioness. She walked and sat on the glass table with her legs over the another and started talking in a smooth voice,

"First of all, yes, I was yours, even long before you accepted me fully as yours, or may I say, I thought so." Christian's body and eyes became alert as he once again straightened and tried to interrupt but one hand gesture of Ava and he shut his mouth while Ava continued,

"You tortured me, you cheated on me, you threw me out of your life, and now you came back crawling on your knees even when I threatened you not to do so when I last saw you. So tell me here, what's your purpose by saying shit to Van about me and my destiny? My destiny has already been made and I'm very much happy with it. I won't allow you to ruin it now."

Christian's hands were shaking so hard that he pushed them in his pocket to hide while he put a smile on his face and asked while giving a nasty look to Van, "Can I talk you in private, Ava?"

"No!" Van growled instantly.

"Van!" Ava said sternly, "Let's get this talk over with for now and forever. I don't want to bear this kind of meeting again, so let's put it all to rest completely now only."

Van grabbed a vase from a nearby table and smashed it hard on the floor in anger while he shouted, "Fuckkk!!"

Ava ignored his outburst and looked at Christian, "Come with me."

They started walking but before Ava could pass Van she went near him and grabbed his face in her hands. She gazed in his eyes lovingly and gave a chaste kiss on his mouth before walking once again

Christian saw the whole show like a statue and followed Ava towards the room upstairs.

Christian closed the room behind them and turned to look at a stone faces Ava.

"Talk." Ava said.

He started walking towards her and lifted his arms to take her in his arms but Ava put a hand between them and snapped, "Stay in your limits."

He huffed out in anger and moved away a little to calm his anger down.

"You're coming home back with me." He said while turning and locking his gaze at her.

She just crossed her arms under her chest and raised her brows amusingly. "Done?" She asked and without waiting for his answer started walking towards the door.

But before she could touch the

handle, she was grabbed by her elbow and pushed against the wall Christian's face was just a breath away from hers when his hands snaked in her waist to hold her squirming body.

"What the fuck?" She said angrily.

"I know you are angry with me." He growled, "I know I hurt you, I know everything I did was not ideal but you also know that I don't have any control over my actions when it comes to you. I love you, Ava. More than you know, more than I've ever shown you, more than my life. I did wrong but everyone gets a second chance then why not me?" He

smashed his fist hard on the wall by

her head while he shouted out his

last words.

Ava didn't even flinch. Gone was the time when she felt scared even by his raised voice. Now, he was just stating his claim on her which was not acceptable to her. "Get the fuck out of my way and my home." She said while pushing his chest away by her hands angrily.

"Are you coming home with me or not?" He asked in a stern tone.

"No!" She stated angrily and pushed at his chest once again.

"Attack." Suddenly he said in a stone cold ruthless tone while moving away from her.

And that's when Ava noticed the Bluetooth in his ear.
