Demon War: Rise of the Alpha Chapter 85

As a light started manifesting in front of them they heard her before they saw her. The high pitch agonizing screams from Rhea echoed in the area. Then as the light faded Wyatt stood next to a man that was holding a screaming Rhea. Her body was writhing in pain as perspiration dripped over her forehead. Lee was instantly at her side scooping her from Endymion's arms. He didn't know what was wrong with her or why she was in pain. He was confused when he saw Aken standing in front of him. He growled lowly as Aken reached for Rhea.

"Let me help too. She needs this too." Aken said and lowered his hand on Rhea's stomach ignoring the growls from Leviathan.

Lee felt her body relax and her face was no longer in pain. She was taking in slow heavy breaths before she slowly opened her eyes. She looked from Lee's blue eyes to Aken's green eyes. When Aken started to pull away she reached out and grabbed onto his hand. "Thank you." Rhea said quietly.

Aken nodded his head and then looked up at Lee. "She's alright now. I'm going."

He disappeared before Lee could say anything to him. But he had figured something out in that moment. And would be going after Aken to have a chat. There was only one thing that made sense for Aken to react the way he was. He looked down at Rhea and leaned his head down into her.

"I can't believe you. I should be furious with you instead of elated." Lee whispered into her face.

"What is going on?" Cody asked.

Selene jumped into Endymion's arms as he swirled her back and forth holding her flush against his body. "I missed you so much, you crazy woman." Endymion cooed to her as she began crying in happiness.

A puff of black smoke appeared and it manifested into a woman. Her ivory skin and black hair were familiar. But her eyes were no longer obsidian. They were now a shade of dark green. A genuine smile raised on her face when she saw her brother standing with Selene.

"Thank goodness this all worked." Kali sighed happily. Endymion reached out his other hand to Kali and wrapped the two women into his embrace.

Wyatt wrapped his arms around Freya. "I told you I would come back to you." He whispered into her hair.

Freya had wet watery green eyes as she leaned her head onto his chest. She gripped onto his chest and relaxed into him.

Lilly leaned into Tyler smiling. It was over. Finally, the war with the demons has ended. Would they fight with demons again? Probably. But never like that war today.

"We have so many exciting things to look forward to now." Tyler sighed in relief as he held Lilly close.

"Was that supposed to be that painful?" Titus asked as walked up to Lee and Rhea. Wyatt and Freya were also standing next to them.

Rhea smiled and then looked over at Freya. "My energy was drained."

"Did you see Slayer? Did you kick its a*s?" Jason asked as the group began to crowd them.

"Yeah we saw Slayer but it wasn't Rhea and I that won that battle." Wyatt chuckled lifting his eyes up to Lilly.

Rhea motioned to Lee to set her down but he refused. She giggled and looked out to everyone. She raised her hand and sat it on her stomach. "My little demigod that I am growing came to the rescue and saved us." "Damnit Rhea you are pregnant?!" Cody scowled and looked up at Lee accusingly.

"I didn't know. Hell leave it to Rhea to now be able to finally keep a secret!" Lee looked down at her but he couldn't be angry.

"See Levi. You let your mate have too much reins. My mate would never pull something like that." Wyatt said smugly as Rhea busted out laughing.

"Well dear..." Freya lifted her eyes up at him and bit her bottom lip smiling. "We are also expecting."

Wyatt looked at her in shock before an incredibly silly grin spread over his face. "You are going to have my pup?" He asked in excitement. When she nodded her head he lifted her up and twirled her in circles. "I told you I would fight even if you got me pregnant." Freya giggled when he finally sat her down.

"Don't you ever keep something like this from me again. I agree with Levi. I should be furious with you but damnit if I am not completely overwhelmed with excitement." Wyatt squeezed her body tightly into his.

"I wonder if she will be able to shift into a dragon and a wolf?" Titus said holding Lila close while looking at Rhea.

Kali then walked up towards Wyatt and Rhea. "Thank you for bringing my brother back to us. I may have lied to you about the purpose of the black pearl." She reached out her hand that had four necklaces with black pearl shards in it. She handed one to Rhea, two to Wyatt and looked up to Lilly with the last one. Once Lilly walked up and accepted it they all stared at the object in their hands.

"What is it?" Lilly asked.

"More convenient than riding hippogryph's." Kali said with a grin. "The black pearl can open a portal to any of its connecting shards. The wearer can open their side and close it. Allowing as many people as you want to pass through it." She smiled and shrugged. "I know how hard it is to be parted from your loved ones. I figured this way there is nothing stopping you all from seeing the other whenever you wanted. It would be just like opening a bedroom door."

Rhea squealed and wiggled out of Lee's arms. She jumped into Kali giving her a big hug. "Thank you so much for this."

Kali smiled and patted Rhea's head. "You're welcome." She then pointed to the pearl. "Then to go back when you open the portal again it will take you back to where you originally opened it unless you direct it to another pearl shard."

"Why did you give me two?" Wyatt asked.

"For your future daughter." Kali said with a smile. "Werewolves, vampires, fairies, and dragons can now always be close no matter where you are."

Freya's eyes watered and she smiled up to Kali. So, they would have a daughter. And this way they would always be able to see her even living with the vampires.

Selene walked up with her arm interlocked with Endymion's. "You are going to need to talk with him." She said looking at Lee. "Because of his enemies among the deities he doesn't want to accept her."

Lee growled. "Forgive me if I am not keen about already having a mate for my unborn daughter."

"Join the club." Jason said with a huff. "Wait? A mate? Who?"

"The Kraken." Lilly nodded her head in understanding.

"He's her mate Lee. You know how painful it is to know you mate but to stay away from her." Rhea turned to him and flashed him and wide smile.

"I know my fairy." Lee chuckled. "I'll talk with him. But I understand where he is coming from. It is hard to step towards your mate if you think you will be bringing danger to her."

"But the little fairy princess growing in there is unlike any demigod ever." Endymion said quietly making everyone lift their eyes up to him. "I felt her presence and power."

Selene nodded her head. "Yes, you are right. I have seen her futures as well. She is special." She would be a divine fairy princess. And would become the ultimate protector of Elysium as their queen. "Aken will have to come around. She will need him by her side." "Why was Aken and her connected? It is more than them being mates." Rhea asked looking up at Selene.

Selene smiled. "It is because of the type of mates they are. They are not unlike Lilly and Tyler but even stronger. They are soul mates. And soul mates with a deity is unheard of. That soul connection will make them call to one another. Even without her having the mate bond. And once she does... the force pulling them together will get stronger."

Selene looked up at the Locke family and smiled at them. "Thank you so much for everything you have done and for the people you are. We will be taking a more hands off approach for now. I need a nice break."

"Of course, don't hold her to it because she is never ever able to stay out of peoples business." Kali laughed and smiled happily back to Selene.

"Let's go back to the moon together." Selene said and reached her hand out to Kali. "Thank you all once again. I'll be watching over you and I'm sure I'll see you again." She then looked up at Lee. "Of course, I'll be seeing you again." She chuckled. They watched as the three people disappeared from their sight. Rhea leaned into Lee it was almost surreal knowing that everything was finally over.

Jin and Kelsie were standing outside looking up to the skies. Jin was bouncing on her toes as if it would allow her to see above the clouds. Harley chuckled behind them. "Relax little ones they will be here soon." He had gotten word from his men that victory was theirs and that they were on their way back to the Diamond pack.

Shadows from the sky soon fell over them as bodies of dragons began to lower. On top of those bodies were the remaining group that was left at the battlefield. Including Rhea, Cody and he parents. Jade also came back with them. Rhea was excited when she found out that the mysterious dragon that saved Lee was actually Titus' sister.

Jason and Cody hopped off the dragons before they reached the ground and dove into their mates. Jin squealed and wrapped her legs around Jason's waist as she barraged him with light kisses on his face. Kelsie kissed Cody long and deeply as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Avery ran up to her boys and Caleb same with Merida and Renee. Rosa and Susan squeezed into Sam and Kade. They were explaining about Kade losing his wolf and how he almost died as well.

The dragons shifted into their human selves. The heavy aura of the commanding dragon royalty filled the air. But they weren't just kings and queens of the dragons. Just like how Wyatt and Freya were just the king and queen of the werewolves. How Rhea, Tyler and Lilly weren't just fairy royalty and how Lee wasn't just a deity. They were all family now. They were connected by a deeper bond and appreciation for one another.

"Well let's get to it." Lilly said grabbing her bags.

"What's going on?" Jin asked looking at the bags in Lilly's hands.

Jason chuckled. "Rhea and Freya got jealous, so they decided to cook up children of their own too."

Jin and Kelsie squealed loudly. "Oh my goodness we are all having babies? When are we all due?" Jin bounced into Jason happily.

"That is what we are going to find out." Lilly said holding the bags up. "Come on everyone let's hook them up to the big screen in the living room. This will be exciting."

"Lila and I get to be the cool aunt and uncle since we aren't expecting." Titus beamed widely as they all trailed behind Lilly.

"Oh, I don't think so. Ruby and I aren't expecting either." Grayson said. "And we already took Rhea in as our own so why wouldn't we do the same with the rest of the family?"

"Well, I plan to fill Ciana up as soon as possible. None the less I won't be conceding from being the cool ones." Dex watched as Ciana blushed brightly.

"Look I'll admit it. Jade it the one in charge of our relationship. So we will do whatever she wants. And that includes in the bedroom. But just in case I do have ropes and hand cuffs at our disposal." Weston chuckled as Jade looked away in embarrassment. "Hey! That's my baby sister you are talking about Weston. Watch it." Titus turned and glared at him.

"Wait a minute though. I have a feeling she is the one who is going to beat me up in the scenario so shouldn't you scold her?" Weston looked at Jade who shook her head and laughed.

"Just because I am stronger than you doesn't mean I won't let you share the top role with me." Jade bumped her shoulder into him playfully and he pulled her tight into his side. Weston's grin could not be wider. "I don't think there ever could have been someone more perfect for me out there."

Lilly had Wyatt, Cody, Jason and Lee all sit on the floor with their legs spread out. She then had each of the girls lie against their mate sitting in between their legs. She divided the large theatre screen into four sections and hooked each girl up at the same exact time.

"Okay daddies." Lilly said handing each of the men a little wand while everyone started crowding around to look up at the screen. "You are going to place the wand over her stomach and gently guide it over her stomach. I'll help you each find the position if you are having trouble." Rhea leaned her head back and looked at Lee who was smiling down at her. "Ready to see our princess?"

"I've been waiting for eternity for this moment." He reached forward and kissed her nose before lowering the wand onto the gel on her stomach.

Lilly helped direct them as they each moved their wands. "Okay Cody and Jason hold yours still. You too Lee." She walked up to Wyatt and then back up at the screen. "Okay perfect." She turned and looked at the screen so that she could estimate the gestation time. "Well Cody and Jason you two are due at the same time. Rhea you aren't far behind at all. And Wyatt...." Lilly grabbed the remote and furrowed her brows. Tyler quickly walked up to his sons' side and knelt beside him.

Lilly walked back to Wyatt. "Let me see the wand here." She moved the wand around and then turned up the sound on his monitor.

Swish Swish Shwoosh Shwoosh Swish Swoosh Swish Shoosh

The sound played quickly over the speakers as Lilly turned her head back up to the screen. "And you are also due the same time that Rhea is..." She then smiled up at Freya and Wyatt as Tyler placed his hand on Wyatts shoulder. "Congratulations you two. You are having twins." "When our king does something he does it right." Sam chuckled while Adam and Winston high fived one another.

Wyatt looked up at the screen with watery eyes and then back down to Freya. Their eyes locked onto one another and they both smiled. He wrapped his arms around her hugging her into his chest. Freya leaned her head into him as she curled her legs up. The smile never left Wyatt's face nor Freya's. They couldn't believe they could ever feel this happy. After everything they had both been through they both ended up finding a life they could have only dreamed about. And a family that was growing around them. Wyatt looked up to his parents and everyone around them. "Guess we better start babyproofing this place."

Lilly cleaned off the tiny infant and handed her over to Jason.

"Yep, just like that Jason. Remember to support her head." Lilly said as he looked up at his mother nervously. "You are doing just fine." She watched him scoot in beside Jin.

"Lilly you can tell Harley he can come in." Jin said sweetly. "I'm sure he is very anxious to meet her."

"I can hear him pacing right outside the door." Lilly giggled and opened it. "Come on in Harley."

Harley walked in and his gaze was drawn to the little bundle in Jason's arms. He walked up to Jason and tears began falling from his face. The son of an original demon was crying at the sight of his new mate. Jason smiled. "Do you want to hold her?"

"I have time for that. I don't want to take this moment away from you guys. I'm just happy you let me see her." Harley wanted to be respectful of the new parents even though he wanted to hold her so bad.

Jin smiled up at Jason. Jason stood up and moved into Harley. "You are family now. You aren't taking anything away from this moment." Destiny started to fuss quietly but instantly quit the moment she was placed in Harley's arms. Her eyes popped open and she stared back at him. She was too young to feel the mate bond but there still seemed to be a connection between them.

Harley smiled down at her as the wetness seeped down his cheek. "I'll give you the world. I promise I will always do everything I can just to bring a smile to your face. You're my Destiny."

There was a soft knock on the door and Tyler and Tristan peaked in.

"You've got to be kidding me?!" Lilly said as she started scrambling around collecting her things.

"What is going on?" Jason asked. His mother and father instantly knew what the other was thinking but for others in the room they were missing the instant conversation.

"Freya is in active labor. She is already pushing. She was ignoring the pains thinking they were just Braxton Hicks contractions. Damn her pain tolerance. Okay I'll be back to check on you. Love you both." Lilly said hurriedly and sprinted down the hall to the next

room.

Lilly handed the second baby up to Wyatt. "Congratulation's daddy." She wiped her forehead and looked at Freya and Wyatt each holding a new baby in their arms.

"What are the odds... Jason and Jin just gave birth to little Destiny and now you have your two little ones too."

"How are they all doing?" Wyatt asked as he sat down next to Freya on the bed.

"They are doing great. And Destiny is perfect, adorable and healthy. They already let Harley in to see her and he is in love. So what have you decided to name them?" Lilly asked.

"Aiden and Lucy." Freya smiled. Aiden was destined to take over as the future werewolf king while Lucy would have to decide if she wanted to continue with the treaty they had in place. If so, she would be the vampire prince's bride. Tyler and Tristan rushed in.

"This can't be happening?!" Lilly began rushing around again this time in more panic.

"What is it?" Wyatt asked feeling a bit anxious over his mother's panic.

"Kelsie is now in active labor." Tyler said shaking his head in disbelief.

"It's a good thing for this pearl. How does this even happen? How are all of you going into labor the same day? At this rate, I won't be surprised if Rhea goes into labor too!" Lilly handed some of her bags to Tristan and took in a deep breath. I guess we are just weird like that." Freya giggled quietly.

"We will be back to check on you and let you know how everyone is doing." Lilly said as they hurried out of the room leaving Wyatt and Freya alone.

"Are you sure you are alright?" Wyatt asked as he kissed Freya's forehead.

"I'm great Wyatt. I'm happy."

"Knock knock." Jason said as he opened the door. "We wanted to see you guys... if you are up for it."

"Sure come in. Pull up a chair for Jin. Tell Harley he can come in too." Wyatt said.

Harley grabbed the recliner out of the corner of the room and effortlessly lifted it up bringing it closer to the bed. Jason held a tiny bundle in his arms while he escorted Jin to the chair to sit.

"Jin she's perfect." Freya said as Jason eased Destiny in Jin's arms.

"I know we are all siblings, but I think we are taking this to a freaky level here." Wyatt chuckled as Jason laughed as well.

"Who do we have here?" Jason asked walking up to Wyatt to see the babies in his and Freya's arms.

"Aiden and this here is Lucy." Wyatt said as he tilted to baby in his arm towards Jason.

Aiden started to fuss slightly, and Freya gently swayed him in her arms until he settled down. She looked down at the tiny infant in her arms. A product of her love with Wyatt. Aiden and Lucy were part of something she never thought she would ever have. Her life completely changed little by little. Once by meeting Rhea and then completely when she met Wyatt. She looked up at Wyatt and leaned his head down into hers.

Wyatt looked up at his brother with a grin that never seemed to leave his face. Their family had made it through the war of all wars. Sure, he knew there would be other battles, but they would make it through it. They would face them together along side their new family and allies.

One thing was certain. With everything they have been through and what they have done for the moon goddess, their family would always receive her blessing. And no matter what future Lucy chose they would support her and be there for her. But that wasn't something he would worry about today. Lucy's journey was another story entirely.

"You brothers really don't like doing anything separately do you?" Lilly checked over the new baby before handing her over to Kelsie. "Thanks for coming mom. How is everyone else doing?" Cody asked as he reached down to hold his baby's tiny hand.

"Everyone is doing great. So... are you going to tell me what you decided for a name?" Lilly asked.

"Raine. We are naming her Raine." Cody smiled up at his mother.

Lilly you won't believe this... Tyler's voice entered her mind only a moment before she heard the door to the room open.

"How?! How is this possible? This has to be a fun game of Selene's it must be. This can't happen. It doesn't happen!" Lilly and Tyler started quickly gathering bags around the room.

"Guess Rhea is making sure she doesn't get left out today too." Tyler chuckled looking up at Cody. "I'll take these into Rhea's room then I'll be back to see my new granddaughter." "Okay Gramps." Cody beamed as he called his father that.

"Not to brag but I am a pretty good-looking grandpa." Tyler chuckled and raced after Lilly.

Lilly walked out of the room giving the new parents their privacy. Lee cooed to his new daughter and held her tenderly in his arms.

"She is perfect Rhea. She is beautiful just like you. You did so well. How are you feeling?" Lee asked and snuggled in beside her in bed.

"Much better. It is so nice to not feel drained all of the time. And finally I can start showering by myself again."

Lee chuckled. "That won't be happening. Doesn't matter if you need my energy or not. I'm not about to let you go in there and wash the fun parts without me."

"Are you going to tell Titus and Jade they can come up and see her?" Rhea asked and Lee shook his head.

"No, not yet. I'm going to be selfish just a little bit longer. You know I am not good at Sharing." Lee grinned and placed a soft kiss on Rhea's head.

Rhea looked up at Lee and frowned. "What about Aken? You need to tell him to quit being stubborn. I don't want her to go through what I did."

Lee pouted. "I hate having to share her though." Then he noticed the stern look from Rhea, and he chuckled. "I'll talk with him my fairy. I want her happiness above everything. Even if it means sharing her."

Lilly walked back to Tyler and Tristan. Tyler scooped her into his arms and she sighed happily in his arms.

"Two more granddaughters came into the family. We have four granddaughters and one grandson."

"How are you feeling?" Tristan asked Lilly. They had been running back and forth like crazy.

Lilly giggled. "I'm fine. I'm not the one having the babies. Come on. I told Wyatt I would be back to check on them and let them know about their new nieces."
