Chapter 111

There were more than a dozen women standing in rows.

They could not see what was going on behind the curtain, but Carlos could see their faces clearly.

Amidst all those women in high heels, heavy makeup, and revealing clothes. Edith stood out due to her petite figure and adorable face. When she was enthusiastically at work, she would be smiling, and her eyes would curve into two crescent moons. Her dimples seem to make her even more attractive as well.

“Uncle Carlos, these are the potential candidates for your future wife whom I’ve carefully selected for you. Which one do you like?”

Upon hearing this, Carlos frowned deeply, the corners of his eyes raised slightly to reveal a terrifying gaze.

His tone was oppressive. reducing her confidence by half instantly.

“Uh… is he not satisfied with them? But with the capabilities Sarah and I had, these are all we can find. If he wanted better ones, he’d better pray to God for one then! It’s just a wife anyway, and she’s going to be his trophy wife. Does he have to be

so serious about it?”

Smiling, Edith tried to persuade him. “Uncle Carlos, you just need a trophy wife. She doesn’t even need to do much. Why do you have so many requirements?”

Carlos was puzzled upon hearing that.

He did not understand why Edith insisted that his wife did not have to do anything. It was not like his wife was a doll. What about their sex lives?

“Am I not worthy of a better one?” Carlos was slightly angry.

When Edith heard this, she curled her lips, knowing that this batch was out. She just hoped that the next group would be good enough.

She waved her hand, motioning for them to go out as she paid them for coming here, even though they did nothing. Then, she brought a group ofinale models into the room.

There were many men who were not straight in the modelling industry, and that was a fact.

Whenever they had shows, the models had no time to find a proper place to change their clothes, and would usually just strip backstage. Some of them even had to catwalk without many clothes. As time went by, they grew attracted to one another.

Moreover, the models were well–proportioned and tall. Even if they were not particularly charming, their other aspects could make up for it.

Edith believed that she could satisfy Carlos this time around.

The top ones to one side, the bottom ones to another side. Uncle Carlos, you can choose now!”

Chapter 111

As soon as she said that, something exploded in Carlos‘ mind. He finally understood why Edith thought that having a wife would be useless to him. That was because Edith thought that he was not straight all along!

Fine, he would accept that this was a misunderstanding, but he could not believe that she found a bottom for him.

“Do I not like I could top?” he wondered.

Carlos could no longer suppress his anger. He got up to his feet, went out and pulled her away.

Edith exclaimed, “Uncle Carlos, you haven’t seen them yet! Hey… slow down!”

Next to the private room was the toilet, and she was taken directly into one of the cubicles on the men’s side. Forced to sit on top of the cover of the toilet seat, she looked up at Carlos, who was looking down at her from the top.

Due to the fact that they were too close, it felt like he was someone mighty and unreachable to her.

Subconsciously, she swallowed her saliva and said in a trembling voice, “U–Uncle Carlos, if you’re not satisfied, I can find more for you.”

“Do you think I like men?” Carlos asked concisely. His eyes were deep and his cold words came out mercilessly.

For a moment, Edith did not know how to answer him but the first thought that came to her mind was, “Shit! Did I accidentally expose him?”

“Uncle Carlos… do I know too much now? Are you…. going to kill me so I can’t tell anyone about this?” Edith asked cautiously. Her heart was beating wildly in fear that Carlos would get so riled up that he would kill her.
