Kyle’s P.O.V.

“This is your family matter, Mrs Knight, and I don’t think that I should say anything. I agreed that what Kyle did last night is wrong. Leaving home without telling you guys about his whereabouts and then switching off his phone, this is really a careless act and I can scold Kyle for that. He is a very responsible boy and this also startled me but”, Mr Stammers paused and then put his hands on the table in a very defensive position. I smirked at what he said because I knew that he would play defensive and my parents were clearly not happy with what he said. “Whether he should listen to you or not, is up to him or up to you guys, not to me or school”, he finished what he wanted to say and then looked at me. I gave him a grateful look because he was the only adult after Ethan’s mother who understood me well.

“So you mean to say that you cannot help us educate manners to him?” my mother asked him in an accusing tone while giving him a look of disgust. The thing was that I had already told him about what happened last night and what they wanted from me for the sake of their business. Mr Stammers was also shocked to know that my parents wanted to use me as a tool for their business purpose and that was why he refused whatever help they wanted from him. “I didn’t say that I can’t educate manners to him. Of course, I can. I am his sports teacher and discipline and manners are a must for every player and Kyle is not an exception here”, he immediately said in a very formal tone, and a small smile crept onto my lips.

I was glancing frequently on my phone because I also had a surprise for my parents. “Okay, I understood what you are implying here, Mr Stammers. We want to withdraw his name from the volleyball team. He can’t play this year”, suddenly my father spoke in a very cold tone. I immediately stood up from the chair where I was sitting and looked at my father coldly. He looked at me coldly but had a winning look in his eyes. “Do this and you have to forget that you have a child. I will leave this city immediately severing all the ties from you guys”, I said in the same cold tone that he used on me and his eyes widened in shock. “What are you saying?” my mother yelled and stood up and I looked at her with the same cold look.

“I meant what I said, Mrs Knight and you know very well that I can do this”, I replied to her with the same cold look. Her eyes also widened in shock and for the first time, I saw fear in my mother’s eyes. I couldn’t feel in this way but it gave me immense pleasure. This was the first time that I called her by her title not called her mom. “You are threatening us?” my father also stood up, making Mr Stammers stand up too. “No, I am warning you guys. Interfere in my life one more time and you will have no child”, I replied to him immediately in the same cold tone. “Kyle… this is not the way to talk with your parents”, Mr Stammers scolded me in a stern tone. “I am sorry, Mr Stammers for behaving like this in front of you but they can’t play with life as they pleased”, I didn’t want to sound rude to Mr Stammers but my parents didn’t leave any choice to me right now.

My father dragged my mother behind her as she was standing close to me and looked at me with anger and disgust. “You want to leave… fine… you don’t have to come back… go and face the harshness and cruelty of this world and then you will understand what you lose”, my father said in an angry tone and I rolled my eyes with a scoff. “Any place and any people will be better than you, Mr Knight. How harsh this world can be. What worst can happen to me at the most, huh? If I leave right now, I may have to starve for a couple of days or…(I just move head casually)… for weeks.. I may have no roof on my head in the night but”, I paused and took a step forward towards him while speaking in a firm and determined tone.

“No one will force me to date a w***e for the sake of business. No one will force me to do things against my will for the sake of business. If there are thousands of rude and mean people then there will be at least one person who will show his or her concern for me and will give me some love that you fail to give me as a parent”, I said to him while looking straight into his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it while looking at me without blinking. “She is not like what you said, Kyle. Whoever has spread these rumours against her will soon pay for this. She is a good girl”, my mother defended Sia from behind my father. At the same time, my phone vibrated in my hand.

I smirked and took a deep breath. The corners of my lips curled up which made my father raise his brows at me. “I don’t want to do this, Mrs Knight because I don’t like to pry into someone’s personal life but you guys make me do this. So, whatever I am going to show you is not on me but on you guys because you believed a stranger over your own b***d”, I said while opening my phone. A nasty smile spread on my lips when I read the message and then looked at Mr Stammers. “Mr Stammers… can I use your computer, please”, I looked at him and he also raised his brows at me in suspicion. “Yeah, sure”, he said with a bit of hesitancy but I was really glad that he allowed me to do this.

Mr Stammers had access to all the cameras in school so that he could see the whole school and could ensure that no one was left behind after school before closing the gates after our practices. “What are you going to do, Kyle?” my father asked me hurriedly when I walked towards Mr Stammers’ seat. I immediately opened the security system in his system on his watch. “Kyle… you can’t do this”, Mr Stammers immediately stopped my hand when I was about to click on a particular camera footage. “Please Mr Stammers.. this is my only chance to prove myself right or else I will have no other option but to leave not only school but also this city”, I pleaded to him while looking at him with pleading eyes. He knew what was going on there and didn’t want my parents to see that.

He didn’t leave my hand that he had grabbed and I took a deep breath. “What is going on here? Mr Stammers, can you explain?” my father asked him in a firm but confused tone. “No, he will not say a thing here now and you will not involve him again”, I said and then left his system. I opened my phone and then the app that I already had downloaded on my phone. “I am sorry, Mr Stammers… but I need to do this”, I said while starting the live footage that I wanted to show to my parents. I nasty and disgusting smirk appeared on my lips when I saw what was happening there. It made me puke but I had to do this. “Here… you can see the live footage of an innocent act of your princess”, I said and then gave my phone to my father. He gasped in shock and my mother immediately came forward and stood beside him looking into my phone. I had muted the voice because I didn’t want to embarrass Mr Stammers here. “O my”, my mother exclaimed aloud and put her hands on her mouth while looking at my phone with widened eyes in shock.

Mr Stammers stormed out of the room after sending a death glare to me. I didn’t react on his death glare because he was not my concern. Whatever was going there was not my fault either. “This is your little innocent princess”, I taunted my father while pulling a chair towards me. He looked at me angrily and threw my phone on me. I caught my phone with ease and then looked at the screen. “I will rather choose to die instead of going anywhere near to her. If you still think that she is innocent and everything about her that you heard is a rumour then you can have her all for yourself but spare me”, I said and then closed the screen. My parents were still looking at me dumbfounded. “O… if you are still worried about her being punished for this… then… don’t worry… she will not be punished for fulfilling her l**t inside the school because this is not the first time that we have seen this. This is her normal routine”, I once again taunted them and then stood up.

“Kyle… we are doing everything for your own good. Why don’t you understand this?” mom spoke after a while and her words made me look at her with disbelief. “What good dating a w***e will bring for me, huh?” I asked her in a very rash tone making widened her eyes in shock once again. “This is not a way to talk with your mother, Kyle”, dad immediately scolded me while wrapping his hand around her shoulder. I opened my mouth to say something again but held everything back inside me because there was no use to say anything now. “You know what? Forget it… forget that you have a son and it will be better that you adopt that…. That princess of yours”, I said in a venomous tone and then stormed out of the room. I heard them yelling my name behind me and even my dad tried to grab my hand once but I yanked my hand harshly and left them there.

“Hey… where are you going?” I heard Ethan yelling behind me but I didn’t stop. I was so mad at my parents right now but I was mad at Sia more than that. She was the one who made her father put pressure on my parents to make me date her. She wanted to make me her next boy toy that she could only dream about that. “Kyle… stop now”, I heard Ethan once again yelling but I didn’t slow down. Suddenly he held me by my shoulder from behind and then pulled me back harshly, making me stumble on my feet. “Are you out of your mind? Where are you going like this, huh?” he yelled at me in anger while holding me tightly by my arm. “Then what do you want me to do, huh? Let my parents and Sia play with my life?” I yelled back at him angrily. “They want Mr Stammers to get me out of the team because I refused to date Sia”, I said in the same tone while pointing towards the office of Mr Stammers and then move closer to him. “I can’t let them play with my life… not now… not ever”, I said in a cold and determined tone while looking straight into his eyes.
