"You busy? I need you guys to come over now. It needs to be done sooner than later." Giovanni said.

"Y-yeah, give me an hour and I'll be over. Kali and Tristan are going to stay at Nikolai's while I'm out of t-town." I stuttered. Kali, you little minx.

"I'm fine, I have to go. See you in an hour." I growled and slammed the phone down on the nightstand.

I sat there and watched them head towards the entrance making my heart clench. I wasn't going to break my promise to Kali or my brother. I'd come back to them just as I said.

I pulled up to Giovanni's estate and grabbed my bag from the back seat. I was greeted by Luka and Alec as I reached the gate. They let me in and Alec smirked. "You ready for this?" "As ready as I'll ever be. When are we leaving out?"

"As soon as Giovanni gets all the paperwork put together," Alec said leading us inside.

Alec Vitale was now the second-in-command for Lucien Genovese since Giovanni stepped down as boss. Giovanni was still the boss, but let Lucien take over for him since he's got his hands full. His wife Rose had fallen pregnant and gave birth to twins. Now, all of Giovanni's time is spent with Rose and the children. He knew Lucien knew what he was doing, so he trusted him and that's saying a lot. There aren't many people he trusts.

Luka Alexeev, on the other hand, was Nikolai Vasiliev's best friend/ second-in-command. This man was lucky to be alive seeing how he was now with Nikolai's sister...married to her to be exact. I never thought I'd see the day that someone would touch 'the princess' and live to see another day. That's another story for another time, though. Right now, we have a bastard to track down.

"Tristan, so glad you could do this for me. I know you're a busy man." Giovanni said closing the file. "Everything you need to know is in here. Remember, bring him back to me alive."

"Of course, it shouldn't take us but a few days to get the job done," I said taking the file from him.

"Let's get going guys, the sooner we get this done the better. If we leave now, we should be there by sundown."

"Tristan, you know Brett and Kali are always welcome here. They could've stayed here."

"I know, but they tend to get a little..." I trailed off.

"No need to finish that, I know what you mean." He cut me off knowing what I meant.

"I'll call you when we arrive at the hotel."

Never in a million years did I ever think I would be teaming up with Alec and Luka to take down a scumbag rapist.
