These guys were going at Estelle full tilt, attacking her like mad.

Yulia hit the deck, watching Estelle get mobbed by seven people. She wanted to cry for help, wanted to struggle to her feet, but she was frozen stiff, helpless, and could not help but shed tears.

In the blink of an eye, Estelle had knocked out two. She grabbed the wrist of one attacker, and with a crisp "crack", the guy's wrist was snapped, and his knife hit the floor. The guy let out a muffled grunt before Estelle sent him flying with a swift kick.

The whole shebang only took a few minutes for Estelle. By the time the bouncers from the Midnight Bar got a clue, half of the attackers were already down for the count.

The remaining fellas, seeing the tides had turned, knew they had no chance of nabbing Yulia anymore. They high-tailed it with their injured, quickly jumping into a van parked outside, and split.

The bouncers nabbed two and quickly dialed 911.

Estelle turned to look at Yulia, who was still down on the ground, her eyes glued on Estelle, tears welling up in an instant.

Estelle walked over and helped her to her feet. By now, a crowd had gathered. They brought over a chair for Yulia to sit on. Yulia was still mute, her body trembling, her face pale as a ghost.

Seeing her in this state, people began to speculate,

"It looks like she's been drugged!"

"Poor thing, good thing someone came to her rescue; who knows what could've happened otherwise?"

"Give her some water; she might feel better!"

A crowd was tending to Yulia, but all she could do was stare at Estelle.

She had indeed been drugged; her body was weak, unable to speak, but her mind was clear.

She trusted only Estelle.

She hoped Estelle would stick around and wouldn't leave her all alone here!

Estelle didn't leave. Since she was involved in a scuffle, she still had to deal with the cops.

The cops showed up in no time. They took away Estelle and the two guys the bouncers had nabbed, while Yulia was carted off to the hospital.

Jonathan Lamont was at a party when his phone suddenly rang in the middle of some folks toasting him.

"Hello?" Jonathan answered nonchalantly.

"Mr. Lamont, Ms. McClain, whom you asked us to keep a close eye on, are currently at the station. Would you like to come over?" The police politely inquired.

Jonathan immediately stood up and asked, "What happened to her?"

Everyone at the table stopped their chatter and stared at Jonathan in surprise.

"We're still investigating, but it seems she might've been involved in a brawl," said the cop.

Jonathan made a beeline for the exit, briskly walking and asking, "Is she injured? Which station are you?"

Millard, trailing behind with his coat, Chuck stood up, laughing, "Mr. Lamont seems to be busy; I'll do the toast."

"Sure, go ahead!"

"No problem!"

"I know the chief of police; if Mr. Lamont needs help, I can help."

Everyone chimed in.

Jonathan had already left the hotel when he coldly said, "Tell her to wait for me. No matter what happened, even if she did something serious, don't blame her. I'll be there ASAP; I'll handle everything!"
