As dusk settled, Lambert climbed the stairs to check on Estelle, finding her asleep and lost in dreams. He gently roused her. Estelle woke with a start, panting and worn out. She glanced at the dimming skies and asked, "Has Alvis arrived yet?"

"He's almost here. I sent a gift over to Alvis ahead of time!" Lambert said with a grin.

Estelle raised an eyebrow at him. "What gift?"

"This!" Lambert opened the box he brought and took out two masks for Estelle. "There's a party tonight, so let's make it a masquerade! Everyone wears a mask-it'll be a blast!"

Estelle scoffed dismissively. "Raiden's already seen you and me. What's the point of wearing these now?"

"But Alvis is joining us. We need to keep some mystery, don't we? Why should Raiden be the only one hiding behind a mask? If he's wearing one, we all should. Keeps things fair," Lambert said, his voice tinged with spite before shifting back to amusement. "I have a feeling tonight's going to be quite the show!"

Estelle looked at the masks in the box: a sultry black lace mask and a Venetian half-mask. She chose the Venetian and handed the other to Lambert. "The lace is for you."

Lambert's eyes widened in mock indignation.

He took the mask with a touch of indulgence in his expression. "Alright, for you."

"Go ahead, I'll be right down," Estelle said.

As Lambert turned to leave, he paused and handed Estelle her cell phone. "I got it back from Raiden for you."

She took it with a nod of gratitude.

After Lambert left, Estelle checked her phone and saw that Jonathan had sent several videos that had gone to voicemail.

Amiee and Josiah had messaged her too.

She reassured them that she was fine.

Once she replied to the messages, a servant came up to her, announcing that Lambert was waiting downstairs.

Descending the staircase, Estelle saw Lambert already masked, adding an air of mysterious allure to his presence. He beckoned to her, "Come on, let's go meet the legendary Alvis." Estelle put on her mask and followed Lambert outside.

As they exited, Lambert's men gaped at his black lace mask and quickly turned away, their lips twitching to suppress laughter.

Lambert winked at Estelle, unfazed. "Even if this gets written into the Brennan family history, it's worth it to spoil you."

Estelle gave him a frosty look. "To ensure the Brennan family history doesn't end here, you'd better keep quiet.”

Lambert arched his brows and zipped his lips, trailing behind her.

Passing his bodyguard, Lambert asked, "Why won't you look at me? Am I that ugly?"

"He's probably trying not to punch you," Estelle said coldly.

Lambert gasped and shrugged. "Ha, you think all bodyguards are as arrogant as you?"

He then turned to his guard. "Would you hit me?"

The bodyguard immediately shook his head. "No, sir!"

Lambert laughed triumphantly. "See? She truly is one of a kind!"

The guard solemnly agreed, "Indeed, sir."

Lambert, pleased with himself, hurried after Estelle.

Outside the gates of Zion, Raiden waited with his confidant Winston and the head butler Huff.

As Estelle and Lambert approached, the trio couldn't help but show their astonishment at the sight-especially Lambert-before quickly regaining composure. Estelle's gaze landed on Raiden.
