Audrey's face was ashen, "Does he even like you? He just likes your money. You're practically his sugar momma, thinking I wouldn't know!" Sylvia chuckled, "You think you love Gabriel, but you don't know the first thing about him!"

Audrey roared back, filled with resentment, "You know him? You've only met him a short while ago, I've known him for almost a decade!"

Sylvia looked at her and suddenly asked, "Audrey, when did you first meet Gabriel?"

Audrey squinted, puzzled by the question, "Why are you asking this?"

"At 20, right? That's when you met Gabriel." Sylvia stepped closer, her graceful demeanor stark against Audrey's frantic rage, "Ever wonder why he doesn't like you?" Audrey scoffed, "Because he's blind!"

"No, it's because by that time, I was already part of his life." Sylvia's gaze was commanding, "Forget who came first, just look at yourself. How could you even compare to me? Of course, Gabriel would choose me over you!"

Audrey's eyes widened, infuriated, she lunged at Sylvia aiming for her face.

"Smack!"

With a swift motion, Sylvia didn't let her get close, slapping her across the face.

Without waiting for Audrey to react, Sylvia grabbed her by the collar and slapped her again!

Her eyes were cold and fierce, "Even if you hadn't come for me today, I would've sought you out!"

"Conspiring with Baron, that trash, against Gabriel, and you still claim to love him?"

"From head to toe, not a single hair on you is worthy of him!"

"Colluding with Baron, you deserve what's coming to you!"

Sylvia's words were quick, clear, and sharp, forcing Audrey to retreat repeatedly.

Audrey, who had been in the military and came from a wealthy family, used to being brash and bold, was completely overpowered by Sylvia's presence, unable to fight back.

She kept retreating until she hit a car, staring at Sylvia with wide, fearful eyes.

As Sylvia raised her hand, Audrey screamed, covering her face in defense.

But Sylvia just laughed, lowered her hand, and took a step back, looking sternly at her, "Don't you dare project your filthy thoughts onto him again. Don't speak a word about him!" "I revere him like a deity, not something you can defile!"

Audrey looked up, her eyes wide with shock.

Sylvia, unimpressed, turned and walked away.

Passing a car, she paused, slowly turning to see a man standing by it.

The man, tall and dignified, walked towards her, his dark eyes fixed on her until he reached her, taking her cold hand, and they continued forward.

Sylvia followed, not looking away, but her expression betrayed a hint of guilt, "When did you get here? How much did you hear?"

The man, with a firm face, spoke softly, "Thought you were meeting a client? You deceive me, yet I'm not allowed to follow?"

"It's not like that!" Sylvia whispered, following him closely, her gaze tender, a stark contrast to her previous fierceness. Gabriel smiled lightly, "Afraid I'd hear what you said? As if I didn't know!"

Sylvia's cheeks warmed slightly, knowing something and hearing it firsthand were indeed different.

She smiled openly, gripping his hand tighter.

Audrey watched their departing figures, feeling a burning sensation on her cheeks. Tears rolled down her eyes uncontrollably. She didn't know how much she loved Gabriel, perhaps it was her unrequited love that made her so unwilling to let go.

Seeing him again, he seemed even better than before, especially compared to Baron, who was incomparable.

Blinded by jealousy, she sought out Baron, a scoundrel.

Now, left with nothing, insulted by Baron and Dennis, her heart was filled with hatred, wishing she could destroy all the beauty in the world.
