Xavier chuckled but didn't say anything.

After Norah cleaned up his wound and applied the medicine, she got a new bandage to wrap him up. The bandage needed to be wrapped around him from under his body. Norah sat on the edge of the bed, reaching under him as Xavier lifted his body to help.

As Norah reached for the bandage under him, it looked like she was hugging his waist from a distance.

The nurse's words flashed through Norah's mind, "He wasn't hurt in any vital areas, and it won't affect your marital life."

Her face flushed, especially when she thought about him possibly not wearing anything underneath. Her heart started to race.

After everything was sorted, Norah didn't dare to linger, "I bought you lunch, you should eat. I have to go busy downstairs!"

"Mm," Xavier put out his cigarette in the ashtray, "Thanks!"

"No problem!"

Norah put down the bandage and medicine, didn't dare to look at the man, and turned to leave.

In the afternoon, when it was less busy downstairs, Norah took a bowl of beef soup upstairs. Seeing Xavier sitting on the couch playing with his phone, she immediately frowned, "Who told you to sit up, lie down now!"

"I'm fine already!"

"Lie down!" Norah glared at him.

With no choice, Xavier lay down.

Norah blew on the soup a bit, "I had Zachary make beef soup. It's good for wound healing. Drink it while it's hot!"

Xavier frowned, "I don't like this."

"Well, you don't like taking medicine either, but you have to!" Norah handed him the soup, "Stop dawdling and drink!"

"You go do your thing, I'll drink it later!" Xavier sighed.

"Don't lie to me, I'm watching you drink it!" Norah said, looking cute and slightly bossy.

Xavier took a deep breath. He took the bowl, closed his eyes, and just gulped it down without savoring the taste. The man, with his head slightly tilted back, showed a clear jawline and throbbing throat, exuding a wild sexiness!

Norah's heart skipped a beat and she quickly averted her gaze, her ears involuntarily turning red.

Once downstairs, Norah's heart was still unsettled for quite a while, but thankfully the cleaning crew came to clean the room and cooled her down a bit.

Norah prepared some coffee, "Thank you all for your hard work. Let me know if you need anything. There's a patient in this room, try to be as quiet as possible so you don't disturb his rest."

Seeing her cute and playful looks, speaking softly and so politely, the cleaning staff all agreed, rolling up their sleeves to get to work without even bothering to drink the coffee.

The room was indeed dirty. The four cleaners worked together, tidying up, doing laundry, and cleaning, busy but organized.

After about two hours, all the rooms were pretty much tidy, except for the one Xavier was sleeping in. Norah knocked on the door, and only after Xavier responded did she push the door and enter. Xavier was half-asleep, yawning, "What's going on out there? Are Zachary and the others playing cards again?"

"No, Mr. Flemmings, could you please get up and step outside for a bit?"

Xavier checked the time and found that he had been asleep until five in the afternoon. He just happened to need to use the bathroom. After drinking a large bowl of soup Norah brought, he had been dreaming about finding a bathroom.

As he tried to get up, Norah supported his hand, "Take it easy!"

"I'm fine!" Xavier supported his waist and walked out as usual.

As soon as he opened the door, Xavier was stunned.
