Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 197
Jadon's daughters tried to stop Scarlett, but they were all scared after being glared at by Jadon.
Scarlett only stayed here for half an hour but made a mess of the place.
Jadon watched Scarlett's back as she went down the stairs. His eyes narrowed slightly.
He finally realized Scarlett was not a meek lamb.
The sound of the car's engine soon came from outside. Scarlett and Raymond had already left.
Jadon looked back at his study, gritting his teeth. He could only swallow his anger.
Except for Raymond, Scarlett had the evidence that could send Jadon to prison and ruin the Hudson family.
Jadon was fifty-eight. He was not young. He had six children. He had to think for them.
The older people got, the less courageous they were. They became cowards and afraid of death.
Jadon's third daughter came running back from the balcony. "Dad! Who the hell is that woman? Is she crazy? Why don't you allow me to call the police?"
Jadon glanced at his children and their spouses.
Don't tell anyone else what happened tonight. If I hear anything about it, I won't let you off!"
"Dad, who is that woman?"
"Don't try to get back at Scarlett! No one is allowed to hurt her! Do you hear me?"
No one answered. They were furious.
They used to bully others at will, but now someone trashed their house. How could they stand it?
However, Jadon didn't care what they thought. He directly kicked Jerome. "It's all your fault! You dare to be angry! I won't repeat what I said today. If anyone doesn't listen to me, don't come back to me and cry!"
After saying that, Jadon took another look at the study behind him. The door was open. Inside all was disorder.
Scarlett was selective while smashing the things. She concentrated on expensive porcelains.
This evening, the antiques broken by Scarlett was worth tens of millions of dollars.
Jadon's heart ached. He covered his chest and walked back to the room.
He had thought Scarlett was easy to deal with.
Now he found she was a hot potato. He could only endure it.
It was nearly one o'clock when Scarlett came out of the villa. The road became even quieter.
After leaving the Hudson family's villa, Scarlett calmed down.
She glanced at Raymond who was driving beside her." Why didn't you stop me?"
Hearing what she said, Raymond looked at her. "Why should I stop you?"
Scarlett raised her eyebrows, speechless.
She tilted her head, looking at the landscape flashing past the window. She felt somewhat familiar and strange.
Twenty minutes later, the car stopped outside Scarlett's house.
Scarlett was half-asleep, opening her eyes. She unbuckled the seat belt and said dryly, "Thank you."
It was already 1.30 a.m. Scarlett hadn't stayed up so late for a long time. She couldn't help yawning.
Aware that Raymond was staring at her, Scarlett put her hand off her mouth and wiped her tears." Raymond, I still want to keep away from you."
Probably it was because he had let her down too many times in those three years. After she left him, he wanted to get back together with her, but she didn't.
Raymond looked at her for a while. He then reached out, opened the storage box, and took a box out of it." Happy Hometown Day, Scarlett."
Although he was not the first one to say that to her, he still wanted to say that to her.
Scarlett didn't take it. "Happy Hometown Day."
