Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 611
Jane didn't reply her immediately. She seemed to think of something. After a long time, she continued, "No! I just said some harsh words to you. I didn't go too far! But how could you treat me like this? Scarlett, we are classmates! You will regret it. I will make you regret it!"
"You've been in love with Darnell for half a year. How could you forget him so quickly?" Saying that, Scarlett paused and added," I'm waiting for you to make me regret."
After that, she directly hung up the phone, regardless of Jane's reaction.
Scarlett's face became a little cold when she thought of what had happened in the past.
Seeing that she hung up the phone, Raymond held her hand slightly, "Do you need me to help you?"
A smile appeared on Scarlett's face slowly. She said, "No, thank you."
She wanted to make those people kneel in front of Linley and repent!
"Good." Saying that, Raymond led her upstairs.
There was a big scene at the wedding. But it actually meant nothing for Scarlett and Raymond.
Tomorrow was the weekend. It was early now. Scarlett picked a suspenseful movie. They watched the movie in the theater room while eating cantaloupe.
Scarlett hadn't watched a movie for a long time. It was ten o'clock at night, but
Scarlett didn't feel sleepy.
While watching the movie, Raymond fed her cantaloupe from time to time. When the movie was over, Scarlett was kind of full.
She looked back at him, "You fed me all pieces of cantaloupes, right?"
"I ate some too."
Raymond lowered his head and kissed her. Scarlett moved her eyes faintly. She suddenly thought of something and said," There seems to be an auction tomorrow." "Do you want to go there?"
Raymond had received the invitation long ago, but he had little interest in that.
Tomorrow was Saturday. He would prefer to stay with Scarlett.
"July is coming. Grandpa's birthday is on
the 10th of August this year."
Hearing her words, Raymond moved his dark eyes slightly, "So let's go to the auction tomorrow evening."
"I heard that an antique will be up for auction."
Actually, Scarlett didn't know what present gift to give Rowan. He didn't lack anything. He liked to play chess and go fishing with his old comrade in arms. But his old comrade in arms was now bedridden, so no one could play chess and go fishing with him.
Therefore, Scarlett wanted to go to the auction and bid on it for Rowan as a collection.
"Good."
Obviously, Raymond agreed with her.
The auction was held the next evening. Scarlett slept late last night. When she woke up in the morning, it was already after eight o'clock. Raymond was not in the room. The sunlight shone through the curtains so the room was a little bright.
Scarlett sat up. After a while, she went to wash up.
Just after she came out of the bathroom, she heard her phone on the nightstand keep vibrating.
She picked up the phone. When she saw the caller ID, she froze, "Linley?"
"Scarlett, good morning. Am I disturbing you?"
Scarlett smiled, picked up the remote control, and opened the curtains. The sunlight shone in the bedroom slowly. She walked to the balcony, narrowed her eyes, and said, "No. What's wrong?"
Linley was silent for a moment, and then she said, "Jane called me this morning."
The smile on Scarlett's face faded.
Suddenly, Raymond's arms went around her waist.
She looked back at Raymond and said to Linley, "What did she say?"
"She said you ruined her and Joe's wedding last night."
After saying that, Linley realized that there was something wrong with her words, so she hurriedly added, "Scarlett, don't get me wrong. I just want to remind you to be careful of Jane. I think maybe she will deal with you."
