Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 701
Scarlett raised her eyebrows slightly and answered ambiguously, "Guess."
Raymond gazed at her until the traffic light turned green.
On the way, Raymond didn't speak again.
Scarlett thought he was angry. When they returned to the villa, she couldn't help asking, "Are you upset?"
She wondered, 'When did he become so petty?'
The next moment, she was pulled into Raymond's arms.
Scarlett leaned on his chest and put her arms around Raymond's waist with a grunt.
"No."
Raymond looked down at her, touched her face, and kissed her on the lips.
Raymond carried her upstairs to the bathroom, put her on the sink, and turned on the shower.
The water was cold at first, sobering Scarlett. She wrapped her arms around Raymond's neck as she smiled at him. "I'm going to Berlinton City tomorrow."
"I see," he answered.
Scarlett didn't know whether he understood what she said.
The next day Scarlett was woken up by the alarm clock. She opened her eyes, looking at the ceiling. It took her a few seconds to recall that she had to help Linley divorce that jerk today. Scarlett rubbed her temples and sat up in bed.
When they were in the boxing gym, she began to gasp after sparring for forty minutes, but he was still relaxed.
Scarlett came out of her trance. "Good morning, Mr. Shaw."
Raymond walked up to her with a plate of sandwiches, lowered his head, and kissed her lips. "Good morning."
After saying that, he walked out of the kitchen with the sandwiches.
Scarlett touched her lips, turning to look at him with a slight smile.
Juanton City was not far from Berlinton City. It would only take her 40 minutes to get there by high-speed train, which was more convenient and faster than a plane.
To ensure that Linley would divorce Roland today, Scarlett asked Katherine yesterday to make an appointment for Linley at 2.30 p.m. at the City Hall. Once they reached an agreement, Scarlett would ask Roland and Linley to get a divorce.
If not...
They would fix it up unless the Holden family didn't want anything.
Scarlett stopped thinking about it. The car arrived at Mornet. She opened the door, unbuckled the seat belt, and smiled at Raymond. "I'm going up."
"Do you need me to accompany you?"
"No. I've asked Katherine to arrange everything."
"Tell me when you come back."
Scarlett stared at him. Her dazzling eyes moved slightly. "Okay."
