If Rose decided to step in and speak up for her, would it make a difference?

Lydia's mind was racing with possibilities. After a moment of contemplation, she decided to call one of the other candidates who had been at the interview with her that day. They weren't exactly friends, more like acquaintances who had crossed paths a few times. The phone rang for what seemed like ages before the person finally picked up, clearly reluctant to take Lydia's call. Still, out of politeness, they answered.

The moment the call connected, Lydia blurted out, "Did you see Rose today?"

There was a brief pause before the person replied, indifferent, "Yeah, I saw her."

A wave of jealousy washed over Lydia. She hadn't had the chance to meet Rose yet. If it weren't for Flora, she might have met her today.

"What does Rose look like?" she asked, her voice tinged with admiration. She really admired Rose. "Oh, and who landed the job today?"

The person on the other end seemed uninterested in prolonging the conversation, offering just a single name.

"Angel."

Hearing this, Lydia felt even more frustrated.

"I'm just as good as Angel. If Flora hadn't interfered, it could have been me joining Rose's Studio today! It's all Flora's fault! Did you manage to get Rose's contact info? Howell's completely under Flora's spell, blindly siding with her today and leaving me to deal with all this unfairness! I'm going to find Rose and ask her to stand up for me!"

When there was no response, Lydia pressed on, "Aren't you going to say anything?"

"Lydia, you've lost it."

With those blunt words, the call abruptly ended.

Lost it, indeed.

Flora was actually Rose, and here Lydia was, hoping Rose would fight her battles for her. Was she out of her mind?

And where did she get off claiming she was on par with Angel? Angel was way ahead of her.

She needed to steer clear of Lydia to avoid catching her nonsense.

Staring at her phone, Lydia was fuming! How dare they hang up on her! They only dared to mess with her because they thought she was down and out!

After a moment, Lydia dialed

another number. If Flora was going

to mess with her, she'd hit back at

Florik Entertainment! They

have a single top-tier fashion designer. She'd join their rival and make sure Florik Entertainment was embarrassed at the "Night of Destiny" fashion show!

...

Later that evening, Flora got home and casually mentioned to Henrik that a fashion designer would be starting at Florik Entertainment the next day.

"A fashion designer? Who's that?" Henrik asked, surprised.

His little sister was always up to something big without making a fuss. Silently, she'd managed to snag a fashion designer.

"Um..." Flora hesitated, trying to recall the name, "Just a regular designer, you'll see."

Regular...

vel

Henrik's curiosity was piqued. His sister's idea of "regular" always turned out to be something extraordinary. Every time, it was someone noteworthy.

...

The next day at Florik Entertainment, Henrik briefed the team about the new fashion designer joining them.

"Our Miss is amazing!"

"Wow, she even got us a fashion designer!"

The team was genuinely touched. Their Miss was truly thoughtful!

"But I don't remember Miss having any ties to the fashion world. The designer she brought in... must be some unknown, right?"

"I swear, you need a wake-up call.

It's already fantastic that Miss found us a designer. What more could you want?" Devin snapped, giving him a light smack on the head. "What, you think someone like Taylor or Monica,

those top-tier designers, would come to our company?"
