Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life -
Chapter 1102
As soon as Flora and her crew stepped inside, a staff member was quick to approach them. "You're Flora, right?"
Even though Flora was hanging back at the rear, the staff member picked her out in no time. Flora had led the Austenberg team to a stunning victory, clinching the title of global champions. News of their success had already made waves at the medical research facility. Typically, no one was eager to take on the role of showing newcomers around, but this time, it was a hot ticket. Everyone wanted to catch a glimpse of Flora.
"Hello," Flora nodded slightly, her manner polite. Her fair jawline peeked out from the neckline of her shirt, drawing the staff member's gaze for a few more seconds than necessary. This global champion wasn't just skilled; she was quite the looker too! The staff member snapped out of their daze and guided the group to the dorms.
"These are your quarters, two people to a room, with five rooms total. You can sort out who stays where," the staff member explained. "Once you've dropped off your stuff, I'll give you a tour to help you get your bearings."
"Flora, want to room together?" Selene asked, glancing at Flora.
"Sure thing," Flora replied casually.
Selene's lips curved into a subtle smile.
Everyone naturally reserved the best room for Flora; it only made sense for the leader to get the prime spot!
After settling in, they tagged along behind the staff member for a tour of the facility. Flora and Selene brought up the rear, both carrying themselves with an air of confidence.
It was Selene's first time at the medical research facility, and she was pretty thrilled, but she wanted to keep her cool, just like Flora. So, she folded her arms and kept her eyes ahead. Flora glanced at her, thinking Selene seemed a bit goofier by the minute.
"Over there is the training ground.
Besides teaching medicine, the facility offers combat training. Across the lake is the lab, open to
the public.

Just flash your student ID to get in," the staff member explained as they walked. "Plus, several top professors have their own labs here, but you need to reach a certain level to access them. Most require Level A or higher."
"How do we get our level?" someone asked, curious.
"The facility gives everyone a level card," the staff member replied, "and your performance and achievements determine your level."
Basically, your card level can change anytime. For instance, if you write a standout medical paper or nail a big experiment, you'll rack up points. Newbies like them were starting at Level D, meaning they could only access the most basic labs, equipped with the most basic gear.
The medical research facility was all
about merit; your skills and achievements dictated the
resources you got. Without them, you wouldn't earn respect or access to better resources.
"Hey, is that an ordinary lab? Can we check it out?" Luiz pointed to a small building nearby, which looked like a lab with soldiers standing guard.
"Nope," the staff member took a quick look and shook his head. "That's Mr. Kruiz's lab, and only students at Level S or above can enter." Even he was just at Level A. Not qualified for entry.
Every student at the facility dreamed
entrat
of stepping inside Mr. Kruiz's lab, which opened just three days a
month, only for Level S students net
There were barely ten students in the entire facility who met the criteria.

Hearing this, Flora, who had been engrossed in her phone, finally looked up.
Wow. Mr. Kruiz's lab was a big deal, huh?
Mr. Kruiz had also messaged her: "Flora, dear, have you made it to the medical research facility yet?"
