Emerging from the forest were Crimson, Kruz, Adrian, and the others!

Ethan rushed over, "Why is it just you guys? Where's Flora and the rest?"

Why were they the only ones coming out?

Kruz stayed silent, not saying a word.

Ethan was getting pretty anxious, and just then, another group emerged from the woods. She quickly looked over to see Lance and Jason leading a group, carrying several stretchers.

On one of those stretchers, she recognized a familiar face - it was Selene, Flora's friend.

Word had it that Selene had gone into the forest with Flora for the initiation test. If Selene was out, then where was Flora?!

"Mike, take them down and get a doctor to check them out," Kruz instructed. During his time at Empire Base, he had definitely become more mature. So, with a softer tone, he added to Ethan, Amanda, and Karter's worried faces, "I'll fill you in about Flora's situation shortly."

With that, he shook his head slightly, clearly not wanting to discuss it in a crowded place. Everyone was smart enough to pick up on that, so despite their worry, they didn't press further.

Once Mike and the others left, Kruz spilled the beans about Flora and Connor's whereabouts.

Upon hearing this, Karter got even more anxious, "You mean Flora was taken?! And Connor went too?!"

Kruz nodded, "That's what Selene said. The mysterious person seems to know the truth about Flora's parents' deaths, which is why Flora went along."

When they found Selene, she hadn't passed out yet.

The young guy had kept his word, sparing their lives, giving them an antidote to the poison mist, and putting them to sleep before hiding them. Selene, being skilled in alternative medicine, had her silver needles with her and blocked her own meridians when he tried to put her to sleep. So, she didn't fall under the spell.

She even managed to stash some antidote, handed it to Connor when he arrived, and held on until Crimson and the others showed up. But eventually, she couldn't take it anymore and fainted.

Selene guessed the young guy set the forest on fire and released the poison to prevent people from going deeper into the forest. Maybe the heart of the forest was where his base was.

"What about your brother? Did he follow them too?" Meredith asked, worried.

This time Adrian answered, "Yeah, he went too. With my brother-in-law there, my sister should be alright."

Plus, his sister was a powerhouse all on her own. She wouldn't be in trouble! Gods or Buddhas, nothing could stop her!

Knowing Flora and Connor were safe for now, Amanda and Karter finally breathed a little easier, but they were still on edge.

If those guys could plant bombs at the medical base, it meant they were no small fry.

Until Flora was back safe and sound, they couldn't fully relax.

"Aunt and Uncle, don't stress too much. Let's figure out who's behind this mess first," Crimson said, cracking her knuckles with a cold grin, "Once I find out, I'll lead the charge and tear their hideout apart! Send those bastards packing to the afterlife!" Kruz and Adrian shivered.

No doubt about it, she was Flora's best friend. That fiery spirit was just as fierce as Flora's, and it was terrifying! "Karter, I'll stick around Lone Island for now. I won't leave until we've found Flora," she declared.

"Alright, alright," Karter quickly agreed, not at all inclined to refuse.

"Ding ding ding-"

Suddenly, Crimson's phone buzzed.

She pulled it out to check.

It was a call from the top brass at Club 257.

Why were they calling now?

She answered, and an urgent male voice came through, "Vice President! We're in trouble, those medical base bastards attacked us while you and the president were away!"

Crimson's face turned grim.

Those sneaky fools really had a knack for timing.

She'd just taken a third of Club 257's best with her, and they attack now?

Grinding her teeth, she took a deep breath and said firmly, "Hold them off, I'm on my way back."

She hung up sharply and shouted, "All Club 257 members, return to Club 257 now!"

"Trouble at Club 257?" Kruz asked, seeing her expression shift.

"A bunch of idiots asking for it." Crimson's temper flared.

She was heading back to crush them!

"We'll come with you!" Kruz decided after a moment of thought.

Club 257 was Flora's turf; they couldn't let others mess with it.

Empire Base was backing Club 257!

Crimson didn't refuse, knowing more hands would be useful.

"Need more people? We've got some here," Amanda and Karter offered.

Crimson was their Flora's friend, and with Flora having just had a mishap, they were more than ready to help out!

Mess with their people, and they'd teach them a lesson! Bomb them to bits!

"No need," Crimson shook her head.

"We've got plenty of folks, those medical organization idiots aren't worth that many. Finding Flora is what matters most."

Crimson led her crew to the helicopter, texting as she went.

The medical organization must've thought she was stuck on Lone

Island, needing time to get back. But

Club 257 had enough clout in

Austenberg to give them a tough

time.

She composed a message and sent it out coldly-

[All members, return to Club 257 immediately. Bring your gear, someone's asking for trouble.]

Meanwhile, on a secluded island, the young man guided a blindfolded Flora deeper into the island's interior.

"Sis, you can take off the blindfold now," he gently said after bringing her into a room.

Flora took off the blindfold with no expression on her face.
