The executives were all in agreement. Tara's smile faltered for a moment, nearly slipping, as she was caught off guard by their unexpected consensus.

"I think it's a good idea too, but..." she started, pretending to struggle with the thought. "Master, Ms. Flora is still so young. We know she's capable, but the others don't... Appointing her as an elder right away might stir up some controversy."

Tara knew Corbyn well enough to predict his indifference, so she quickly continued before he could speak. "Master, I understand you don't care about gossip, but Ms. Flora, being a young woman, might not want to be the subject of whispers. Actually, I have an idea..." Indeed, Tara knew Corbyn like the back of her hand. Initially, he seemed unfazed, but as she elaborated, concern flickered across his face.

Tara made a valid point; he might not be bothered, but that didn't mean Flora wouldn't care. Being talked about behind her back would surely be uncomfortable for a young girl.

So, when Tara wrapped up her suggestion, he leaned in, asking eagerly, "What's your idea?"

Tara smiled, "The contract between the Summer family and the Medical Hall is about to end, and everyone's been stressed about it. If Ms. Flora could prevent the Summer family from ending the contract, I bet everyone would acknowledge her abilities, leaving them with no complaints."

The Summer family was renowned for their herbal expertise, and the Medical Hall relied heavily on their supplies. Other suppliers couldn't match their quality, and the thought of losing them had Corbyn at his wit's end.

"Flora just got here and doesn't know anyone from the Summer family. She can't handle this," Corbyn dismissed the idea immediately. There were plenty of ways to prove oneself; why pick this particular route? Flora was new and lacked connections. Meeting someone from the Summer family would be a tall order.

Tara grinned, "Master, I'll assist Ms. Flora. I've already made some headway with the Summer family. When the time comes, I can introduce her to them. Problem solved, right?"

She playfully linked arms with Corbyn, "Oh, Master, just trust me on this. I'll make sure everything goes smoothly!"

"And what do you think?" Corbyn turned to Flora, his voice tinged with hesitation.

Seeing Corbyn seek Flora's opinion made Tara bite her lip, clearly irked.

"Miss Tara does have a way with words," Flora remarked with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. She met Tara's gaze, giving her a sense of being seen through, making Tara feel a bit uneasy and self-conscious.

After all the talking, it was clear that Tara's real aim was to keep her out of the Medical Hall.

She and Tara seemed to have a natural clash, a strong tension between them. Flora was curious to see what Tara was plotting. So, she nodded, "Alright, let's go with that."

With Flora's consent, Corbyn agreed

too, leaving

Flora in Tara's hands. As it was time to eat, they all

for dinner.

In the lobby of the Medical Hall, a man sat poised on a chair, strikingly handsome and alluring, seemingly waiting. When he spotted Tara and the others coming down, he flashed a charming smile, "Tara,

This was none other than Marc Flynn.

Su dear!"

"Uncle!" Tara exclaimed, surprised and delighted, as she dashed over to him.
