If they gave up now, what would their years of love and devotion mean?

What would two decades of companionship amount to?

Could those twenty-plus years of shared history really lose to someone Charlotte had known for just a few weeks? Jaziel and Nolan's eyes burned with determination.

In unison, they said to each other, "Let's work together. Afterward, it's every man for

himself."

Almost without needing to discuss, they divided up tasks and made their plans.

Nolan sought out Anne and Lucy to retrieve the few remaining photographs of their shared past with Charlotte.

Unfortunately, most of the family photos had been burned by Charlotte. What was left were mainly individual childhood pictures of them.

Even so, they considered themselves lucky-better to have something than nothing.

Meanwhile, Jaziel focused on infiltrating the Washington family, attempting to bribe or sway key members.

With only three days until the wedding, there was a lot to prepare.

On the other side, Charlotte found herself feeling slightly uneasy.

Although she had no intention of reconnecting with Jaziel and Nolan, their persistent attempts to approach her wore on her nerves. Unconsciously, she wrinkled Theodore's sleeve in her hands. Only after a while did she notice what she was doing..

"Theodore, what can we do to end this once and for all? I don't want to be disturbed again."

Charlotte had already decided to cut ties completely-there was no point in dragging things out.

There was no possibility of being friends anymore.

Those childhood memories were beautiful, but they were in the past. A broken mirror didn't always need to be mended. Understanding her thoughts, Theodore gently pulled her into his embrace, patting her shoulder reassuringly.

"Don't worry. I've taken care of everything. After our wedding, they'll never bother us again."

Charlotte tried to calm her mind and place her trust in Theodore.

On the wedding day, a grand ceremony unfolded on the sprawling estate's lawn.

The entire venue was decorated in romantic pinks for Charlotte and Theodore's celebration. Countless handcrafted artificial flowers, shaped into various designs, filled the space.

To accommodate Charlotte's asthma and pollen allergy, real flowers were replaced with

these lifelike creations.

Even though they were handmade, the flowers looked remarkably real, leaving no one questioning the authenticity of the wedding.

Not even Jaziel and Nolan.

However, as all the guests arrived, the bride and groom were conspicuously absent.

Jaziel and Nolan began to wonder if Charlotte had changed her mind and was planning to run away.

But what happened next completely defied their expectations.

Using the latest technology, the Washington family created holographic projections of Charlotte and Theodore to conduct the entire wedding ceremony in their place. Jaziel and Nolan's carefully laid plans to disrupt the wedding suddenly had no outlet.

They scanned the area desperately, trying to locate Charlotte.

But no matter how hard they looked, she was nowhere to be found.

They had been tricked.

The officiant's voice rang out, "The couple may now exchange rings, and the groom may kiss the bride!"

The holographic bride and groom mimicked the actions flawlessly, exchanging rings and leaning in for the kiss..

At that moment, the provocative video Jaziel and Nolan had prepared was overridden. Instead, the large screen displayed heartfelt messages of congratulations to Charlotte and Theodore from family and friends. Jaziel and Nolan stood frozen, their plans completely derailed, watching as the wedding ceremony continued without a hitch.
