"There was a faint smirk on Calvin's face, as he continued with a stern warning. """Mr. Xanthe, I'm sure you know the saying, what goes around comes around. "After making such a statement, Calvin left the scene without taking another glance at Sergio."

Sergio was left dumbfounded.

"It took him a while before he returned to his senses, and walked back to his private room dejectedly. He forgot that he had walked out for a phone call in order to avoid Zoella."

"Did they come? Zoella asked as she flicked her hair away. She was sitting elegantly on the couch, as Sergio entered the room with a dejected expression."

"Sergio's cheeks were flushed from the alcohol. He had headed out with an arrogant smirk, but came back with a dejected expression after his encounter with Calvin. The change in his mood was apparent." "That ignorant fool is still struggling to survive, Sergio cursed."

"Zoella glanced coldly at him and said, ""Sergio, a starved camel is still larger than a horse. I heard that there was a rule in Harvey Manor, that the Ocean Heart will only be passed down to the daughter-in-law of the eldest grandson in the family, Zoella replied. She had been monitoring the Harvey Group for most of her life. She knew and remembered everything within Harvey Manor, including the priceless jewel."

"These words were ridiculous out loud, but Sergio tried his best to suppress his disgust and his mockery towards her statement."

It was getting clearer to Sergio that Zoella's mindset was already different from before. It was ridiculous for her to believe that her dream would come true.

Belle looked up and saw that Calvin was in a good mood. She could tell that Calvin must have won the debate with Sergio. Belle knew very well that Sergio would never get anything from Calvin.

Why are you bringing this up? Calvin asked curiously.

"Calvin sat up straight and said, """Belle, it's just a rumor. We don't have the Ocean Heart with us."

I know. Belle nodded. "Don't you worry. I'm one of the members of Harvey Manor now. I'll guard it with my life."

"Sophia had mentioned that it was a family treasure when she handed over the jewel to Belle. She would only pass it down to the wife of their family's head. Seeing that Sophia had never handed the jewel to Paige, she could tell that Sophia couldn't entrust this with Paige."

"If that was the case, would Hudson and Evan also have been kept in the dark like Calvin?"

"Honey, let's get some rest before we head back to the Ink Garden. Calvin yawned as he carried her up, and headed to their bedroom."

Alright. Belle nodded. He must have been exhausted. Belle thought. The two of them drifted off to sleep shortly after.

A series of phone calls woke them up.

Hello. Calvin's eyes were hazy as he answered the phone with a husky voice.

"Calvin, where are you? Hudson sounded solemn over the phone."

"Dad, I... Calvin still sounded drowsy."

"Calvin, come back with Belle immediately, Hudson said without waiting for Calvin's reply and hung up the phone." Calvin was dumbfounded as he realized the phone had been hung up. His grogginess faded away with that.

"Calvin, what's wrong? Who called? Belle got up and asked in a drowsy tone. Her cheeks were flushed from her nap." "Calvin reached out to touch her face and said, """Honey, Dad is asking us to go home immediately."""

"Calvin, it might be Sophia. We have to hurry, Belle said. For Hudson to rush them back at this time, Belle couldn't think of any other possibility besides Sophia's condition. There was nothing as urgent as that." Her words jotled Calvin. He also got changed in a hurry and headed outside with her.
