Chapter 2909 Dinner time, at the Three Seasons Hotel rooftop garden. Harvey York had already

prepared a lavish Hong Kong – style afternoon tea to welcome Toby Clarke, who was showing an

extremely gloomy face at that moment. “Governor Clarke, a capable man can yield when needed, but

After getting a change of clothes, Toby showed a faint smile.

“Before I returned, I was The Empire’s servants. I served in Country H’s royal court after that. “People

like me follow what’s best for myself.

“Since I currently belong to the royal court, if I have a chance to fight for the country’s peace, so what if I

have to kneel and get slapped in the face?

Toby then poured himself a cup of Black Tea before taking a sip with a calm look on his face, as if he was

not the one who had given in to The Empire’s people earlier.

Harvey squinted at Toby. He knew that other than trying to regain peace, the man in front of him wanted

to show the higher-ups what he was capable of by kneeling. No matter what happened next, there was

no way that Country H’s royal court would even consider replacing him.

If they took Toby off his position, the Clarke family would

be destroyed in the chaos…

Harvey had already seen through Toby’s intent.

Harvey just chuckled without giving a reply. “Jason is a true God of War, after all.
