Leonel assisted Lindsey into the car and drove towards downtown.

She pushed open the door and stepped inside.

I hate that you’re left to shoulder all the work these days.

Nancy’s reply was lighthearted.

We’re not just best friends, but business allies too.

It’s no trouble at all.

Just remember, I’m expecting an extra-long vacation after all this is over!”
