"Really?" Liam looked at her and asked.

Olive nodded. "Of course, I don't know..." In the middle of her speech, she stopped and turned to look at him. "What do you mean? Do you think I did that?"

"No, I'm just asking you.”

"Then I have to say it's not me." She was hurt by his question.

"Yes, I'm jealous of her because she is always attracting your attention. But I am not stupid enough to cross the border of law and kidnap her." She stared at him and accentuated each word.

Her words did make much sense.

And she acknowledged her jealousy of Abigail.

However, her honesty made it harder to tell which part of her speech was true and which was not. His suspicion of her remained.

Olive sneered. "You don't believe me. Okay, I am a wicked woman as you think.” A derisive smile lifted the corner of her mouth.

She looked sorrowful. A frown appeared on Liam's brow.

"I believe you." After a while, he said.

She turned her head and looked at him. "Really?"

He nodded. "Yes, I believe you didn't lie to me."

His words had double meanings.

Apart from the trust, he was also warning her that lying to him was intolerable.

She would be in trouble.

Olive smiled and hugged him. "How could I lie to you! I love you the most." Then she leaned her head on his shoulder and spoke slowly.

"Liam, I believe I will win your heart in the end, even if not now."

He was annoyed but didn't push her away. He felt that she was different from before.

Leo and Abigail were in the car, and Abigail looked out the window with a slight smile on her face. Looking at her profile, he asked, "What are you thinking?"

She looked inside and said calmly, "It suddenly occurs to me that I like my present life. No worry of bread and butter and a free mind to enjoy the night.”

Her contagious smile made him smile, too. He had known her for a long time, and she could always find the beauty of life and hold a positive attitude towards life.

"Glad to hear that." He said.

Suddenly, another thing came into her mind. "By the way, thanks for your treat today. Next time, my turn.”

"There is no need. You are so distant from me now." Leo said. They had lived like a family abroad. Her politeness made him uncomfortable.

Abigail was amused. "At least, I have to take on a polite look.”

He smiled with some inexplicable emotions in his eyes.

She smiled back at him but did not say anything more, facing the front.

He threw a glance at her. Some words were on the tip of his tongue.

Finally, he said, "Abi, will you restore your relationship with Liam?"
