Hidden Passion -
Chapter 26
"No, Lillian. You really don't have to, okay? This is my business, and I don't want to drag you into it," he said, holding her shoulders. How could he let her see the woman he was in love with for twelve years? That would make her feel bad. He didn't want that.
Nester was able to find the woman he had been looking for half of his life. He was very grateful at the moment that he chose to tell her about it, or he would not have been able to meet her that soon. He needed to hurry home, but he shouldn't take anyone along. Not for the first time of their reunion.
"But, Nath, how sure are you that this person is the one you've been looking for? I am”
"Lilly, I understand what you're trying to say, but I still have to go to confirm, right? And Nester would not have found me another person. Bye, Lilly," he said and started walking out of the office.
"But, Nath, I am Lillian," she confessed, but too bad, he was already not in sight. That was when she realized she was doomed and would be doomed forever if Nath believed that woman. But he would not believe her, would he? There would be no inscription on her arm, that she was certain of.
The first thing Nathaniel would ask was to see the inscription and there would not be one. She should relax and just watch. All would turn out well.
But... What if they don't?

"I have called him, and he is already on his way here. Don't fuck this up if you don't want to get fucked up, Linda," Nester warned.
Linda laughed as she raised one leg on the sofa she was sitting on in the man's living room. She hadn't expected the person to be that rich. His house was huge and luxurious. "I have a feeling that you will be the one to fuck this up. My name is not Linda, remember? I am Lillian. Li..llian," she corrected with a smirk.
"I hate you smirking," Nester whined.
"I don't really like you either. So, the feeling is mutual," Linda said and smirked again.
"You're crazy, you know? Why didn't you tell me you have tattoos all over your body?"
Linda looked away as she lay down on the sofa. "I didn't think it was a big deal. People get tattoos. It's not as if it's a taboo or something," she said, hoping she would not get mad at her. Thankfully, she didn't.
"Do you think he will actually fall for this? I'm starting to think that you don't look presentable at all," Nester pointed out her fear which made Linda laugh.
"He will, trust me. I have all it required." She had the perfect stories to convince him.
Nester only shrugged and asked, "Do you still remember all that I told you about him?"
Linda rolled her eyes. What did she think of her? A kindergartener who could not memorize properly? Of course, she remembered what she told her about him. Why would she even say 'all' as if what she told her about was more than one. She had been shocked to find out that the man had prosopagnosia, but that would be to her advantage. She just had to play her cards right.
Poor man!
They heard the honk of a car and the opening of the front gate, indicating the arrival of who they were expecting. Nester adjusted herself on her seat and plastered a newly invented smile on her face while Linda was having pleasure in watching her and smirking.
"Can you please put your legs down before he comes in?" Nester said through gritted teeth with the smile still lingering on his lips, making her look weird.
Linda rolled her eyes but did as she said. She should look convincing enough. As if on cue, the door opened, making Nester jump to her feet and go to drag her boss into her opened arms. Linda gave herself a mental note immediately. She was never going to like Nester.
"I am so happy for you, sir. It seems unbelievable, but it's real. I can't believe that we actually found her," Nester uttered with a broad smile and pulled away. "That's her," she pointed to Linda. Linda immediately became teary and started fiddling with her fingers. She could not bring herself to say a word, or she would start to cry.
Nathaniel could only stare in shock at the young woman in front of him, who had been introduced as Lillian. The woman was wearing a sleeved shirt and jeans. Casual but sexy and beautiful. She had her hair done in braids and gathered them at the center of her head. She had big eyes that seemed as if they wanted to pop out of their sockets and a slightly curved nose and full lips. She was absolutely stunning, but not as stunning as the Lillian he was kissing a while ago. He slapped himself mentally at the thought and jerked himself back to the present. He should stop daydreaming. "Lillian? Lillian, is this you?" He was breaking down as he stood, grounded to the same spot. He could not even bring himself to go closer to her.
"I will just excuse myself and go back to the office," Nester said and met Linda's eyes, silently telling her to behave. She scowled when she received response from her, instead, a tear dropped from one eye as she quickly widened her stance and hugged Nathaniel. She heaved a sigh of relief and went out.
Now, everything was going to go her way. It was about time to sit and relax, then watched how her boss would come to her. She could not believe she was actually carrying out her plans so easily. She had had the idea a very long time ago when she had first found out that her boss was looking for a woman. She just hoped everything would go as planned and nothing would go wrong.
Well, there was one thing which could go wrong and ruin her future as the wife of the CEO of El-En, but she would take care of that immediately.
