Mabel is quiet since she has been kidnapped and does not go out and party as much as she used to. Jen and Logan are worried about their daughter. Mabel does not talk much to anyone for the first time in her life. She knows her parents will not understand that she fell in love with the guy that kidnapped her. Every day that pass, she misses Bernardo more. Jennie and Dante also noticed the change in Mabel. She loved being in the spotlight, but lately, she does not like meeting new people or eating out with friends. Mabel sits in her apartment, and the only time the public sees her is when she performs, but Mabel has become like her mother was at the beginning of her career. She tries to avoid the cameras and paparazzi as much as possible. Mabel was always outgoing and a crowd-pleaser. However, Mabel is not the old Mabel, and everyone is worried about her.

“Do you think the k********g traumatised her?” Dante asks Jennie.

“Your sister is stronger than that, Dante, and you should know it. I think your sister is lovesick,” Jennie says.

“You think Tristan having a new girlfriend has something to do with it?” Dante asks Jennie again. Jennie walks over to Dante’s chair and sits on his lap. She loves Dante a lot, but he is a man who can not think like a woman.

“No, there is someone else, and I think I know who it is, but I will go talk to her, and when I confirm what I believe, I will tell you,” Jennie says and k****s Dante.

“It is Andrei. Maybe she realised too late she loves him,” Dante says, and Jennie laughs. Men can not see what is right before their eyes until you spell it out for them.

“Think what you want to, but I will talk to her first before telling you anything,” Jennie says. She is afraid Dante will be angry and act in a way only a protective brother will. He will assume things that are not true. Jennie picks up her phone and calls Mabel.

“Hey, want to have lunch with me?” Jennie asks as soon as Mabel answers.

“No, I am not in the mood to go out in public,” Mabel answers. Instead, she wants to be left alone and give her heart time to forget about the man she has only known for a few days.

“Okay, I am bringing lunch to your apartment then,” Jennie says and hangs up before Mabel can refuse her.

“Hmm, so I guess she did not want to go out?” Dante asks Jennie.

“Nope, that is why I am going to her. She needs someone to make her open up, and I am not leaving there today until she tells me everything,” Jennie says.

“That’s my girl! Can I do anything to help?” Dante asks.

“Yes, babe, pick up the children from school and make sure they do their homework,” Jennie says.

“No problem, love,” Dante says as Jennie walks out of his office and go to a little Italian bakery to pick up some pastries, then she goes to pick up some pizza and a bottle of wine. Today she wants to be alone with Mabel.

Jennie drives to Mabel’s apartment, and as she knocks, Mabel answers the door. Mabel is not really in a mood to have someone over, but she is glad it is Jennie when she sees the food and wine. She knows Jennie will not try and pull something out of her, and if she does not feel like talking, Jennie will understand.

“Hi, there, stranger,” Jennie says.

“Hi Jennie, I am glad you came over. I was getting a little sick of my own company,” Mabel says. She loves Jennie as Jennie is quiet and will not nag her.

“Well, I brought a bottle of wine and your favourite pastries!” Jennie says as she walks into the apartment. She will not force Mabel to talk, but she also knows how to get Mabel to talk. So they sit in the sitting room, talking about all kinds of stuff, drinking wine, and eating pizza and pastries. Jennie does not ask Mabel what is wrong or tell her why she acts strangely. She waits. Jennie knows when to ask what, and she knows Mabel is dying to tell someone about her deepest secret, which Jennie already guessed. Mabel looks at Jennie as the wine kicks in, and she seems sad. Jennie takes her chance as she can see Mabel wants to talk.

“You miss him, don’t you?” Jennie asks

“Yeah, but he sees me as a silly girl that talks too much. I think he has already forgotten about me,” Mabel says and takes a big mouthful of wine.

“I bet he has not. I bet he misses the woman he kidnapped, and that changed his life and house,” Jennie says.

“How did you know I was talking about Bernardo?” Mabel asks.

“Oh, that is easy. You have been miserable since he returned you, and you have his face as a screensaver on your phone,” Jennie laughs.

“Oh, damn, I need to change that, but you are right. I miss him, and I only knew him for a few days. Do you think I am crazy, Jennie?” Mabel asks.

“No, some people fall in love at first sight, others fall in love over years of being friends, and some people love someone since they were a child. Love is not the same for everyone, honey,” Jennie says.

“Well, I fell in love with him the first time he kissed me,” Mabel says, blushing.

“If he kissed you, he has feelings for you,” Jennie says.

“I think he just kissed me to shut me up,” Mabel laughs.

“Hmm, a man does not just k**s a woman to shut her up,” Jennie says.

“He told me I talk too much and are a pain in his a*s,” Mabel says, but she sounds sad.

“He is hiding his feelings from you. I think something is preventing Bernardo from asking you out,” Jennie says after Mabel told her everything that happened at Bernardo’s place while she was his prisoner.

“You think? What can that be? He is successful, wealthy, and friends with both my father and brother now,” Mabel says.

“I don’t know. We will have to find out what is going on in his head,” Jennie says with a smile. Mabel is glad she told Jennie everything. Jennie understands, and she will help her find out what the hell is going on in Barnardo’s head. Mabel feels much better since she got everything off her chest, and when Jennie leaves, she is relieved that Jennie came to her and made her talk about her feelings for Bernardo. Jennie is a sly little fox that knows how to get you to talk about your deepest feelings and tell her all your secrets. Mabel smiles. She loves Jennie as a sister, and she knows Jennie will help her figure things out. Jennie drives home, and as she walks into the house, the house is in chaos.

The trio has ganged up against Dante, and he looks tired and is wet from head to toe. The trio is tied up in chairs, and their mouths are taped shut. The sitting room looks like a warzone, and Dante stands before them, looking like he is about to kill them. What the hell happened here? Jennie can only imagine. She knows the trio. Dante must have done something to upset them, and they attacked him with water guns. They like playing Mafia, and Dante must have upset them. He is looking at them with a warning in his eyes.

“What the hell happened here? I can not leave the house for one afternoon, and when I come back, it looks like a warzone,” Jennie says.

“These three are spawns from hell,” Dante says.

“What did they do and why?” Jennie asks.

“They got angry because Alexa showed up here and tried to k**s me. I tried to explain to them I had nothing to do with her and that she was the one that threw herself into my arms. They did not want to listen to reason and started shooting me with water guns, and even after I told my men to take Alexa to the room in the basement, they wanted to do nothing with me. Finally, I told them I would let you take care of Alexa since the bloody woman is your cousin and came into our house and tried to seduce me. They were still angry and said they would only believe me once you tell them I will not do anything to hurt you, love,” Dante says.

“Babe, you know I trust you, and I know Alexa by now. I will take care of her in a bit, and the children are coming with me,” Jennie says. She knows Dante loves her and that Alexa is desperate. She knows Dante will not do anything to hurt her. Jack looks like he is the angriest of all three of them.

Jennie walks over to the children, and she kneels in front of them. She unties them and hugs each one of them. She holds Jack a little longer because she knows how much he hates Alexa.

“Listen, to me, my babies. Daddy will never hurt me or any of you. You need to trust him as I trust him. Now, let us go and see that lady that thinks she can come into our house and cause chaos,” Jennie says. She takes the three children with her, and she knows they will see things today that she had to witness when she was young. It is part of growing up in the underworld, and there is no getting past this. They will have to see the bad side of their business and learn how to handle it. Dante walks with them to see how Jennie handles all of this. He did not ask Alexa to come here, and he knows Jennie is a mamma bear when it comes to her children. He knows she is not upset with him, but Alexa and he feels kind of sorry for Alexa for messing with the trio. As they walk into the basement, Alexa is bound to a chair. She has a grin on her face as if she is mocking Jennie.

“Well, if it is not my ugly duckling of a cousin. I guess you are mad because Dante enjoyed my k**s,” Alexa says. Jennie laughs.

“If he enjoyed it, would you be sitting here bound to a chair?” Jennie says. The kids look at Jennie. That is true. Daddy would not have sent Alexa to the basement. He would have let her go. They believe in their mother and father now.

“He did it to impress the children and not you,” Alexa tries again.

“No, my dear cousin. He does not have to impress them. Dante loves them, and they love him, and I know he loves me. So tell me, what is your last wish,” Jennie says.

“What do you mean by my last wish?” Alexa asks she is not so confident anymore.

“Do you want to be buried with your ex-husband?” Jennie asks. Alexa starts sweating.

“Jennie, we are cousins. Give me a chance. I will never bother you or your husband again,” Alexa says.

“Too late for that cousin, you see you upset my three children, and I do not like that,” Jennie says.

She walks toward Alexa and smiles. Jennie looks over to Jack and nods to him. This is his revenge! This woman made his life hell. Jack walks to Jennie.

“Take any weapon you see and do to her what you want,” Jennie tells Jack. Jack smiles as he picks up a knife and stabs Alexa in her hand.

“That is for hitting me and allowing your husband to do the same to me,” Little Jack says. He wants to stab her again, but Jennie takes the knife from him. That is enough for his little heart for now. Jennie turns to the guards.

“Take her away and make sure she ends up with her ex-husband,” Jennie says. Jack had his revenge for this woman hurting him. Jennie kneels in front of him again and hugs him.

“I am your mommy now, Jack, and no one will hurt you again. None of us will ever have to see her again,” Jennie says. Dante smiles as the children run to him and apologise. They know their daddy loves them because he is innocent if he allows the guards to take Alexa away. After that, nobody ever saw Alexa again. Her mother gave up calling her after a few days. She is too afraid to ask what happened to Alexa as she does not want to end up wherever Alexa is right now.
